These people do not know their own terms and conditions. I bought a handbag. Extra with verification. Bag arrived. And I immediately see two stains. Neither shown in the photos nor mentioned by the team before. So I reported it. Apart from the fact that I had a new employee in front of me after every message, none of them were even remotely helpful. I said I would keep the bag, but I want a part of the price reduced. Not possible. Only a discount voucher. (which you constantly get as a gift for various occasions, and only goes up to 50€!?) What nonsense, of course it's possible. It's even stated in the terms and conditions. In addition to the stains, Vestiaire claimed that the bag was from a private purchase. And I naturally wanted to know where and how they see that. That my seller got the bag from a private purchase. Because there was no receipt, etc. There was no answer to that. But instead, a picture of the label with a bare foot on it! (employee from the verification team) They want to tell me afterwards that it's a thumb. But I can clearly see the difference, honestly. And now I've been in an impossible fight with them for weeks. I have tried multiple times to get something like a manager. Eventually, I was called, but it was absolutely unhelpful. I don't know if it was really someone higher up or if they just thought I was a fool. Thousands of texts back and forth, and I had to explain myself hundreds of times because something was constantly misunderstood, forgotten, or undermined, etc. This is a multi-million dollar company. And they want to tell me that they don't have the means to refund me damn 50€ or something similar!? Absolutely ridiculous. Incredibly incompetent and greedy company! Disgusting.
I enjoy purchasing from this app for a few reasons; guaranteed quality, fast shipping, high end products at affordable prices, and most of all less new product consumerism. My experience shopping Vestiaire is always 10/10
