Hey travel geneio. I had booked my tickets from YVR to Delhi for September 11th, 2020. They did not issue me tickets for one day and already charged me. Now I open my trip on the website and see that it has been cancelled. They didn't even inform me. I should have read these reviews I feel so terrible. My mother is not okay and I had to urgently fly and this is what I get in return. Looks like a scam company. I just want money back and I want to forget this scam company totally. Just give me my refund and go on scamming others.

I can only modify my trip reschedule or get a refund through the agency and they want to charge me 36 dollars to get a refund or reshedule my fligh. Thats just rediculus. The flight got cancelled due to coronavirus, but they are not giving me my refund. They are (probably on purpose) ignoring my emails and are not picking up the phone. Seriously pathetic.

I had connected flights booked trough Travelgenio. One airline operator changed flight scheduled. First I was waiting from 31st July till 17th August for them to offer me alternative flight. In all this time they have never reply to my e mails in which I've asked for alternative flight until I contacted Skyscanner who obviously urgent them to get in touch with me. After they offered me alternative flight I've waited for confirmation of new flight until 2 days before my departure. They were saying that they are waiting for airline operator to approve my new flight. At the end I've contacted airline operator directly and not only I get information that Travelgenio haven't request new flight but airline operator solved problem for me and send me new tickets for my flight. I literary solved problem in 5 minutes for which I waited for Travelgenio from 31st July till 25th August! They have never had any attention to help me! They have worst customer service ever! I will also avoid Skyscanner because if they have company such as Travelgenio on their list what else we can expect from them... Even thought Skyscanner has better customer support.

Worst company ever. My flight was cancelled by Fly Dubai and haven't got any helpful information or a refund from Travelgenio. No answered called or replied emails. I will never ever book through Travelgenio and I would encourage someone out there to Beware of this company! I'm super determined to get my refund even if it means through law as I wasn't the one who cancelled the flight. This is not the time to play games with someone's money..

I am trying to contact them for 3 days to try use the credit note I got from Air Canada because of a cancelled flight booked through Travelgenio, A horrible customer service. I wish I read these reviews before I booked with them, they seem to run a scam business

3 flights were booked through them and all were canceled even the airlines responsible responded and said they have refunded the canceled flights but Travelgenio says that the airlines have a no refund policy and that i cannot get any of my 4000 USD back. They are thieves... they steal innocent peoples hard earned money. DO NOT BOOK FLIGHTS WITH TRAVELGENIO!

My flight is 2days from now! But i didn't have my booking confirmation or anything regarding about my flight! I did called them like 8x already but they can't solve my issue regarding my flight i ALREADY PAID them the diff about the flight. The customer service representative keep you on Hold for like 30-40mins! And just hang up the CALL. Super bad travel agency!

I am absolutely DISGUSTED with this company. We received an email from them in March stating our flights were cancelled:

Itried to book a flight and while the information was processing I got a message that said it was not able to be processed. My credit card was still charged a month later.

Asks for minimum €30 pp for "helping" with refund when airline totally changed schedule. I´m just another one that they scammed... The World would be a better place without criminals, including Travelgenio!

Bad very bad. Be careful with your money. The booking happened in February. Until now still now refunds. No email answers. No telephone can reached. Just thieves.

Booking was fine. Our flight was the cancelled a week before due to fly. It took 14 weeks for them to even answer our attempts to get a refund, and this they just replied with one sentence. The airline will not refund as they say it has to be travelgenio as they have held the money from them. Another 5 weeks later and still nothing. Yet they reply to my public tweets straight away (although not with anything useful...)

In January I booked my tickets to Peru for September. The airline(LATAM that did declare itself bankrupt a couple of months back) cancelled my flights in June. I was trying to contact Travelgenio and spent over an hour on the phone trying to talk to someone in person as they simply ignore e-mails. No result whatsoever, they always hang you up after around 20 min.
Finally I filled in the form and after a month I received the reply that I can't get any refund and the only thing I could get is a voucher(to be used with the same company, that is barely operating now) with a reduction of 50€ because of the service fee. I find it ridiculous that not only they ignore you but also they try to make you pay extra fees just because SOMEONE else cancelled your flights as if it was your fault.
Completely dissatisfied, starting to contact external companies to start a legal process.

Well, all the flights got cancelled and they haven't answered to any message or phocall. Haven't shared any kind of general info what's going on with the refund. TravelGenio took my money 9 months ago for flights in April 2020. Flights were cancelled by Airline because of covid and they won't return my money. SCAM! And customer service won't pick up the phone, ever.

For months I have been trying to contact Travelgenio and the phone line hangs up after a few minutes and the email address contact comes back saying that they do not recognise the booking number ******* - even though they won't accept an email unless you put the booking number in the subject so it has priced impossible to co tact them.
They ask you to put in your email address that you used to make the booking on their contact form and they send a link to your email address and you click on the link and you go to my trips and your booking comes up. For weeks when I checked it said that they were waiting for airline approval for the refund but now when I put in my email address when I used to make the booking when contacting them it doesn't recognise the email address and not only that but when I go to check the original booking that I made last July it says that the information doesn't exist on their server. So basically it seems that Travelgenio keep all of your information on a server when they contact you and then they just wipe the server whenever they want, leaving no proof of any emails they sent to you. My booking has basically vanished off their system. Booking id *******. I'm due a refund if 2800 for flights from Dublin to Vancouver that were cancelled in April. Very distressing. The email address for their customer service also doesn't work and this is the email address that they keep telling everyone in the reviews (ie Trustpilot) to contact but you can't send an email to that address because as stated above, they ask you to put in the email address you used to make the booking when contacting them but then you get a reply to say that the email address doesn't exist. And from today, funnily enough, an error message comes up when you try to send an email to their customer service email address saying "this email cannot be sent". Have they gone bust? Seems like it to me. All I want is a booking invoice to give to my travel insurance company and I can't even get that. So distressed. The worst company I've ever dealt with in my life. Will be filing a complaint to the aviation authority.
