GET REFUND
July 21, 2020

Booking code is *******

I purchased the flight ticket on Thur, 12, Mar
ICN-SEA flight date 7 April 2020.

Then, the flight was canceled because of the coronavirus, and I automatically received an email saying that I would get a refund it.
- got this mail on 13 July 2020

So, we checked if we already got a full refund, but the ticket price has not been withdrawn yet.

After all, Today we got a letter from our bank ( wells Fargo) It said,

"As a result, the $1,531.16 temporarily credited to your account

Will be deducted 10 business days from the date of this letter 7 / 15/ 2020."

It doesn't make sense, you guys sent the cancel email first, and we didn't even take the airplane.

So, as a result. Today 15 July 2020, our bank took our money, so WE HAVE TO GET A REFUND FROM YOU GUYS.

PLEASE, SOLVE THIS PROBLEM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

I never understand this situation, that we paid money which we didn't use as NONE OF SERVICE.

Fraudulent!

I unfortunately booked a flight via Travelgenio. The flight was cancelled, and I asked them for the refund. They first said the refund would take 30 to 90 days, then I contacted them again, and they said the refund was delayed and it would take yet another 30 to 90 days. After that, they stopped responding to my emails.
The credit card company won't refund me because I should have reported Travelgenio's fraud within 90 days after my flight was cancelled. So now I have lost my money and I am considering reporting Travelgenio to police in Spain.

I booked my flight way back in Feb for 10th April 2020, due to corona it was cancelled. I lodged a complain about my refund, contacted them over their emails, contact number. Its July now more than 3 months I still have not received my refund. Customer service does not exist AT ALL, no body is picking up the phone.

This Agency is really irresponsibility to customer which charging for non sense penalty! The airline canceled the flight and the agency charge me for the penalty fee for canceling the flight? When I ask them to explain why I should be charged while it's not my problem to cancel, they stop replying my email. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!

MY FLIGHT HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO COVID19. I HAVE BEEN ASKING REFUND. BUT FIRST THEY TOLD ME TO GET IN TOUCH WITH THE AIRLINE COMPANY. BUT THE AIRLINE COMPANY ASKED ME TO ASK TRAVELGENIO TO TALK TO THE AIRLINE FOR REFUND. BUT THEY KEPT IGNORING MY EMAILS. I HAVE SENT MORE THAN 20 EMAILS. THEN THEY FINALLY SAID THAT YOUR TICKET IS NON REFUNDABLE.
AGAIN I CALLED THE AIRLINE. THEY SAID ANY CANCELLATION RELATED COVID19 IS REFUNDABLE.
THEY ARE BIG FAT LIERS.
WORST COMPANY. DONT USE THEM.

After notifying me of the airline's flight time change, I tried to get in touch with them to book a better time that was more in line with my schedule. They never got back in touch with me, every day I tried calling them, they hung up on me. Their "help desk" never followed up on my ticket. I should correct the title, they are no better than thieves.

I had a ticketed booked with travelgenio for the 6th of July with Qatar airways, Qatar airways canceled all outgoing flights and I got an email from travelgenio saying that I'll be refunded, it has been 2 weeks since I recieved the email, still no refund and unable to get ahold of anyone. They have stolen my money along with several other clients as I have yet to read one positive review. TRAVELGENIO ARE THIEVES.

I bought tickets recently (I didn't check reviews before, which is my mistake) and I'm very disappointed. I've send them messages via *******@travelgenio.com since Friday and still no response. I tried to call them, spent 20 minutes on line, but no one picked up. Of course first price for tickets was different and in the last step in cart it raised. DON'T recommend to anyone. I just want to get my invoice and forgot about this experience

Due to the pademic my flights were changed. The airline in Brazil said they could give me a credit but Travelgenio (and other agencies I've been using) would need to request it. I contacted Travelgenio and they wouldn't do anything. They just said the tickets are non-refundable. They didn't even try. I called the airlines in Brazil and they said Travelgenio never contacted them. The other two agencies I was using both requested and received a credit. Travelgenio does not care about their customers. Please do not use them... If anything happens you will not see your money.

On 28.04 I had to fly to South Korea. The plane ticket was bought with Travelgenio. Our flight was canceled by the airline, so we have to get our money back, but right now
But now it's been 2 and a half months and we're still waiting for the money. We are struggling to get in touch with travelgenio, we have not received any email from them since 5.06.
They do not reply to emails, they don't help us at all in refunding money. We will certainly never turn to this agency again and we will also address the competent authorities against them, because it's a joke on their part. On their website they write as a priority those who will have the flight in the next 72 hours, before our flight 28.04, we tried to contact them and again no answer.
From what I understand we are not the only ones in this situation because of them, so I recommend that no one ever turn to them again because they are not interested in anything. We have friends who had the same flight with us, with the same airline, but with another agency and got the money back. I hope we get our money back.
It's a terrible agency, it's a joke.

I have tried every which way to contact Travelgenio, emails bounce back phone calls are automated and told to use form on their web site, unable to find any useful contact details or forms.
The Airline offers Flight credits, but won't deal with us due to booking through Travelgenio.
Is there anyone from Travelgenio that can help?

Thieves!

Warning! Do not use this agency! They are thieves! I hope karma will get them or the rule of law will. I booked flights with them and paid extra for maximum protection in case of cancellation etc so I would get my money back. The flights got cancelled and travelgenio tried saying that I wouldn't get my money back. After heaps of communicating back and forth and discussing with the airline itself the airline agreed that they would get my money back. They authorised Travelgenio to give me a refund. It's been 4 months and Travelgenio is not giving me a refund or even answering my email or calls anymore! This is illegal and appalling behaviour. I have been in contact with lawyers and I have the law on my side and the right to get the refund so I will not give up. These people should not be stealing money from their customers! STAY AWAY AND DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS DODGY AGENCY!

I BOOKED A TICKET THROUGH THIS AGENCY WEBSITE AND GUESS WHAT. MY FLIGHT WAS CANCELLED BY THE AIRLINE AND NOT ONLY DID I NOT GET A NOTIFICATION FROM THEM THAT THE FLIGHT WAS CANCELLED BUT HAD TO GO LOOK AT MY TICKET ON THE AIRLINE THAT I SHOULD BE FLYING ON AND SAW THAT IT WAS CANCELLED AND HAD TO CONTACT THE AIRLINE MYSELF. TRAVELGENIO NOT ONLY DON'T HAVE A NUMBER THAT IS EASILY FOUND ON THEIR WEBSITE BUT HAVE TO GO THROUGH SO MANY HOOPS AND THEN TO SEND SOME SORT OF REQUEST AND THEN STILL NO ANSWER WHEN A TICKET IS CREATED. FINALLY FOUND A NUMBER AND REQUESTED A REFUND AND THEN CLAIMED THAT THEY ARE TO CHARGE ME FOR REFUNDING ME MY OWN MONEY AND THEN STATING THAT IT IS IN THEIR TERMS AND CONDITIONS. WHEN ASKED WHERE IS IT LOCATED AND READING WHAT IT SAYS, THE AGENT GOT WAY UPSET AND THEN TELL ME THAT I WILL HAVE MY MONEY IN 1 TO 3 MONTHS. ONCE I TOLD THE AGENT THIS IS RIDICULOUS AND GOING TO FILE A DISPUTE WITH MY BANK, THE AGENT GOT MORE UPSET AND SAID THEN YOU DON'T WANT YOUR MONEY AND DISCONNECTED THE CALL. I have been asking for refund of the flight that was cancelled dues to covid 19.
No matter how many times i send them requests, i receive no reply. When i wrote a negative review on the internet, then they wrote to me that their customer service will solve the problem.
But when i send them my reservation number and etickets, they said that they cannot locate my reservation.
This company is a scam and not intending to give refund.
If you do not want to get upset, use other company. They are really terrible.

I booked a big flight through Travelgino and due to a flight cancelation, my first flight got changed, which meant that I was then unable to catch my next two flights. Travelgino wanted me to pay 600 euros to make a flight change even though it was because one of my flights got cancelled. When I called customer service, management REFUSED to talk to me!

Please do not use this travel agency.

Please know that even if they reply to all of the bad comments on here and say they want to look at your case, they don't actually give any type of solution to their problems.

Hello Eveyone, My name is Deepak Patkar staying in Singapore. I had booked my ticket from Singapore to Dubai in the month of March. But due to COVID-19 situation Emirates Cancelled all morning flights and scheduled at night. So having said that I emailed/called Travelgenio and they charged me 30 euros to change the flight timings. Was it my fault? Absolutely no. I fought that why I have to pay, Emirates has cancelled and rescheduled but they never listen and I had no choice but to pay 30 euros. However, again all flights got cancelled.

Now after months today I received email from Travelgenio saying if you want cancellations for your Dubai ticket then I have to pay 30 Euros or if you want to extend your ticket date then too you have to pay 30 Euros. Common guys are you crazy? Are you taking the advance of this situation and making extra money from the customers. I would write a review about this Travelgenio everywhere and I will also share in every channel of communication. Let the people know about this scam agency Travelgenio.

Please I would request you all not to book any tickets from this agent in near future.

Hi Deepak, you can find the terms and conditions accepted during the booking process, where there are stated the service fees for changes, cancellations, refunds etc. All of them were, as told, accepted during the booking process. You can once more check them in our site.

If any problem, travelgenio directly dissapears. No customer care, no refunds, nothing... Be aware of this company or you'll lose money. You may end up chasing the refund via legal.

Once each airline makes the refund, from Travelgenio we will transfer it to the same credit card used during the purchase. It's been 5 months since they have canceled my flight and 3 since Air China has refunded the payment to Travelgenio.

I have emailed them so many times and never got an answer.

I honestly do not know what to do and who to talk to about it. This was a ticket worth hundreds of pounds and I feel like they will just keep the money and me helpless.

Can you advise?

My advice does not ever use this agency.
