The service is worst. They never refund, if you cancel the ticket. Don't ever go for it. If you will mail, they will paste the same reply everytime. No commitment.

I book my ticket through cheapair.com SO Travelgenio is a 3rd party I did found out after calling to the airline. So, before I purchased my ticket I did not know that there 3rd party involved. I try to call Travelgenio but it is impossible to call to their customer service that is located in Madrid Spain. I purchased my ticket here in USA. I also try to call airline but they said since Travelgenio is a 3rd party they won't be able to help to change or cancel my reservation.
SOOOO while I am booking my ticket I paid in upfront $300 USD extra CANCELLATION SERVICE FEES if I want to CHANGE or CANCEL my flight so that there won't be any extra charges. Now, I try to contact them and change my flight date but they have send me this message - "165 EUR per passenger penalty fee" and this - "50 EUR per passenger for administrative costs". NOW if I did paid in upfront (while booking my flight) $300 extra why do I have to paid additional 165 EUR and 50 EUR additional fees? Please save your time and energy and money DO NOT BOOK ANY FLIGHTS WITH THIS WEBSITE AND WITH www.cheapair.com because they both DO NOT HAVE CONTACT NUMBER TO CONNECT WITH and CALL customer service. You can only send them an email and pray to God so that they can replay you back. Now I am not even sure if I can get my money back

Still not refunded for over 6 months now and still not refunded though they say the refund takes 12 weeks to 14 weeks. Now they adding 190 EUR per passenger penalty fee.

I am very disappointed how would Travelgenio allow someone book a flight on the day that flight doesn't exist. They booked me South African Airways on the days the airline is not operating. How come this kind of behavior is allowed to deceive people.
Their site should be shutdown. This is bad really bad and unlawful. If there was minus star I would rate them minus star.
I booked two flights with Travelgenio and they were canceled due to Covid-19. I asked for a refund in April of 2020 and never got refunded, even though they sent a refund confirmation email.
I circled back to this company in April 2021 because I realized I never got my money. I could not find their correct contact information and when I did, I was put on hold only to be hung up on multiple times. I finally used this website to call them and my refund was figured out. However, I was only refunded $23 out of the $288 I paid.
They refuse to return the rest of my money and scammed me out of $266. This agency is extremely terrible and I would not recommend them even to my worst enemy.

Bought a ticket based on good faith and turned out the Airline had closed that ticket option a long time ago due to travel restrictions. Contacted TravelGenio and they refuse to admit the fault and refused to refund the insurance cost, and refuse to take responsibility for their faulty system. The insurance was purchased based on the validity of the flight, hence the whole thing is a scam. If you sell product to Australia you are bind to the Australian Consumer Law, which invalidates any "No Refund" policy and it is illegal to even display this.
Called again two weeks later and found out that TravelGenio is "providing" the insurance. Trying to speak to a supervisor and get told not possible, no alternative contact method. You have to put in your booking reference to progress in the call, you want to guess what happens?
Will report the illegal operation to AFCA and Consumer Affair to shut their operations in Australia. Australians steer clear from this company, don't be fooled by the au prefix on their site.

These guys are nothing short of a disgrace. They take peoples money quick as a flash then you find out later they couldn't book what they said they would and you never see the money as they give you this email over and over::—— Unfortunately we have not located any reservation with the email address you wrote us from. Please make sure to contact us by using the same e-mail that you filled in to make the reservation and do not forget to indicate the Booking ID that you will find in the confirmation email (numerical code) in the subject of the e-mail.
It is important to follow the procedure as mentioned: mail our customer.service@travelgenio.com address from the same mail you provided during the booking process as it is the one linked to the booking. In the mail subject, just write the booking id - no further codes or words -. Then you will receive a link to register your petition. If you change one of those steps, the procedure won't work. I booked my flight from New Delhi to Toronto for Pril 8th, 2021 on Ethihad through Travelgenio. Unfortunately, flight got cancelled by airlines and neither airlines nor travelgenio bothered to inform. When we reached out to Travelgenio for refund they mentioned they are awaiting confirmation from Etihad on refund. I have been trying to talk to Travelgenio since 1AM IST on april 8th. Eveytime an agent picks up and says we have not received confirmation from Etihad whereas Etihad says agent need to claim refund.
Travelgenio also says they can't give any more information and just wait. Not sure how long we will have to wait. No customer consideration shown by agents of Travelgenio.

I paid $1900 for 2 tickets. COVID cancellation led to a refund request. The process took months but resulted in a Travelgeno notification of refund from Lufthansa to be passed on to me. I was advised that refund was made to my credit card. Nothing appeared for months. I contacted my credit card Bank. They "negotiated" and I was told to expect a $1400 refund. Nothing for months. I got $0 refund. Travelgenio kept the my entire $1900 they got from Lufthansa. Do not trust them. Do not use them. Do not believe them. I will keep on reposting monthly to make sure nobody else gets scammed like I did.

Customer service is horrible, there's never a manager you can speak to, they dont refund customers in case something happens. Customer service agents will hang up the phone on you as it pleases them. I am currently expecting a refund from them and never will i ever recommend this agency to anymore.

If it allows me to rate without a star, I will do so as you don't deserve to get even a star. My flight was cancelled on April 2020 because of pandemic. I did call an agent to ask for my refund. She said that I could get my money back after 90 days. But now, it has been a year since I asked for refund, I still haven't gotten a penny. I decided to call them back like many times in many days and got an answer that my request was rejected by the airlines with no reason. I called Korean Air which is my airline to confirm. The airlines agent told me that there was no way to reject it, and they already refunded many open tickets like mine. Also, they suggested Travelgenio to call them to figure out if it was really rejected, so they could help. But, Travelgenio agents denied to do so. What an irresponsible action!
Travelgenio is a liar. They try to fool us. That's the last time I booked a flight through Travelgenio, I NEVER EVER come back.

We bought a ticket from them and we cancelled in less than 24hours. When we went through cancellation they mentioned they cancellation fee is 50€ but then they charged us 380€! When we claimed the money they said it's airline's fault and it's airline fee. However they didn't mention anything about airline penalty when we went through cancellation. They officially steals money from people. DO NOT buy ticket from them. Please be careful, big fraude.

Never book through Travelgenio! I need a refund for one of my flights and since the begging they are totally unreachable! Their phone lines don't work.

12 Aug 2020- was told our flights from Auck to Brisbane was cancelled and we would get a refund (up to 15 days to process)
9 Sept 2020- was told our refund is still processing (up to 15 days)
23 Oct 2020- was told our refund is still processing waiting on Qantas. Called Qantas they said nothing has come through. Called travelgenio many times and got the phone hung up on me all those times!
19 Jan 2021- told they are waiting for Qantas. I asked for the dates they lodged in for refund they said they dont have that information but the latest lodge was on the 14th Jan 2020 and it will take up to 3 weeks for refund!
So sick of bloody Travelgenio! Our first time booking with them! Will def be our last! Refund our money!
