They are scam company third party which will not help you when you to cancel you reservatio. They literally just hang up their phones there will be no managers or supervisors who will help you they just hang up. They lie about contacting airline to waste your time so you can lose your ticket. I lost 800$ for my trip to turkey because of wildfire I had to cancel it. Which is an emergency situation and I have severe disease asthma they were not helpful at all worse company

I purchased a ticket for 1270$, AMMAN - CHICAGO - AMMAN, then I called to change the date for my flight, they charged me 712$. After I got verbal confirmation about my flight. They sent me an email that I have to contact the air flight company to open the ticket which is not my duty. I did but the air flight company told me that I purchased the ticket thriugh Travelgenio.com not rj.com. I called them again and as usual every call one hour long minium to reach the customer service who is (Manager, suoervisor, and Customer service agent) There is no way to talk to someone in charge. Long Story Short, they charged me 712$ and they did not change my flight and right now I am asking to cancel my ticket. They keep telling me I am not eligible to cancel the ticket even though once I ask them to change my flight they gave me that option with some penalities fees for cancelation.

In short, they stole my money (1270. 99$ + 712$) They refused to get my money back even with penalties fees.

The worst customer service I had in my life. The customer service guided me to dead end and shut the phone in my face many times.

NEVER EVER DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY NO MATTER WHAT.

I would give 0 stars if that would be possible. This company should not exist. I bought tickets for a flight in May 2020. The flight was canceled due to COVID-19 and I requested a refund. After more than a year of sending them e-mails and receiving no helpful information, I was finally told that the refund from the airline was requested. Today I received the money: only HALF of the money I paid. I called them (miraculously I found the phone number for customer service) asking why is half of the sum missing. After waiting 20 minutes for them to figure it out ( or more probably to figure a good excuse), the lady from customer service told me that this was the sum that the airline refunded ( minus 30 euro tax that Travelgenio applied for the services). When I told her that is a lie because I spoke to the airline and they informed me that all the money will be transferred back to Travelgenio she insisted that's not true. Furthermore, she told me to speak directly to the airline in order to get all my money back because Travelgenio is the intermediary and there's nothing they can do. I got pissed and I tried explaining her (even in her scenario in which the airline did not send all the money) that BECAUSE they are the intermediary, the airline can not transfer the rest of the sum directly to me. The response: there's nothing she can do. The end of the conversation was of her telling me that this is going nowhere and she is hanging up.
In one of their general replies during the year of waiting was written and I copy-paste: "For those cases that the airlines don't authorize full refunds, we will contact you with more detailed information including the possible alternatives." I was never contacted.
Conclusion: avoid them at all costs.

Travelgenio is a mafia organization once you book they do not send you a ticket and will not give you your money back. They are thieves nothing less.
Do not use them they will only steal from you.

Never again

Never ever again I will book a flight through Travelgenio. For almost 2 years, I was booking my flights with Travel genio. One time, I book a flight for my dad that never operated. Since then, I am still waiting for my refund. They keep giving me excuses and contradictory arguments. One time, they tell me I will receive my money back, the other time, they wait for the company to reimburse. They are lying to clients…customer service is super bad. Please if you read this, don't ever try to book a flight with Travelgenio. They are one of the worst travel agencies.

TRAVELGENIO FRAUDS

Just to follow up on my review and Traelgenio crooks reply regarding emailing them from the same address. I can confirm that not only did I email them from the same email and gave them the booking number, I also sent them the ACTUAL interaction I initially had with them showing clearly my email address and booking code. So don't listen to their bull$&@t excuses as to why they have decided to steal your money. DO NOT USE THESE CRIMINALS full stop.

A joke - don't use!
August 1, 2021

Return flight got cancelled and has not been reissued by them. I wasn't even notified. I discovered it when I was unable to check in online, called the airline company and was told half my ticket had been cancelled and they couldn't reissue it - it has to be done by the booking agent. Customer service email reponse says "this email is not monitored" and refers to the website. Website auto response says "we do not have any booking with this email address". Phone number doesn't work. Even the airline companies were unable to contact them.

They cancelled the flight without a clear email or call. They charged too to issue a refund that might take 14 weeeks. Dont buy a ticket through them. Extremely unprofessional!

Booked flight on line OK. Booking was confirmed. And then 10 min later, an email saying bookings not confirmed - Fare has changed by +$1000. Now they have your money. Haven't got it back yet.
Original prices still advertised and can be booked online.

Booked 4 flights via Travelgenio website on May 25th 2021 for June & July flights Durban Johannesburg George. South Africa got hit badly with the 3rd wave of Corona Virus and due to the severity of covid cases in Johannesburg, we cancelled flights on June 20th 2021 via My Trips link, and sent an email to *******@travelgenio.us requesting immediate cancellation of all flights.
Thus far no reply or feedback.
Emailed Safair (one of the airlines which ticket was with) and received reply that no cancellation was ever received from Travelgenio and the status on their system shows as A NO SHOW!?
I urgently request a refund of my flights which was cancelled the right way by us. I can not afford to just loose R3400!

I've seen the prices on their site and it was showing lower price than what I got charged, I booked a flexible seat on their site and paid for the service but they booked me non flexible seat and charged me for the flexible seat.

At the end my outbound flight was changed from the airline company and they informed me to contact the agency, they asked me to pay them $400 (which is 50% of my tickets) to change the flight while the cost was only for 2 things:

- Changing Seat! ( who the hell on earth pay for changing seats 144 EURO per passenger!)
- Service fee (50EURO)

This is a scamming company and it should be shut down, I paid 3x the price for my tickets because I didn't check the reviews about this scamming company with all it's online scamming websites.

GUYS DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE! I do not even know where to begin with the horrible experience I have had with this travel booking website and am still having (it's been 6 months!). I had booked an international flight using this website and because of travel bans related to COVID that came in after I made my booking, I had to cancel my flight 10 days before the day I was supposed to fly. My booking was cancelled by an agent and that was on February 12,2021. Since then, I have been making constant calls, back and forth, between Travelgenio and the airline, for my refund. Travelgenio kept telling me that they have done everything they could and now it's on the airline to refund the money back to them so they could give it to me. On calling the airlines, they kept telling me that they have received a request to refund and they are processing it. It's a busy airline and they too want the customer to just quickly hang up so they weren't giving me any other details. Yesterday, I asked for this matter to be escalated, thinking it was the airline who was at fault, and found out that Travelgenio had never raised my refund application number to my ticket. If they had, the refund would have been with me in 4-5 days. Its been 6 months now since my cancellation and I am still waiting for them to do the needful so I can get my money back. But they won't. They won't even take calls and often disconnect calls. This was the biggest scam ever and I would advice no one to fall for their cheap rates and make the same mistake I did. GUYS DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE!

It is not worth even 1 star. I had booked tickets and travelgenio charged me 460€ without sending me the tickets. After I called the company on phone and explained them the situation they hung up the phone and never answered again on any phonecall. An email arrived on my phone 10 minutes later with the tickets of the flight that was already gone

I have been waiting since July for a refund of my plane tickets that were canceled by the Japanese government. These thieves told me that they don't have any contract with me. The airline told me they have a contract with Travelgenio.
Meanwhile Travelgenio took my money and won't return it.

Do NOT use this company.

Travelgenio attempted to help this customer through the Sitejabber Resolution Center, but the customer did not respond

With Travelgenio I made my reservation and paid for the trip 2 months ago, a week before my trip, which was supposed to be June 15, they canceled it for no reason and when I went to the airport caunter they told me that Travelgenio canceled my flight from me. Family (5 tickets) a week before, so I could not fly and had to buy tickets in another emergency airline that cost me 2300. 00
They never refund me the money, or any contact or any reason.
For which he lets me know that I could not trust Travelgenio, I do not even have the opportunity to contact Travelgenio because there is no way and the telephone number provided by the airline to contact Travelgenio is not even a real number. What seems to be a scam, they don't even have email to reply or contact them
And just so you know they charged me for the trip 2 months ago.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. They are scammers. Unfortunately, I have booked a ticket through this company. My ticket got cancelled and they have not informed me at all. They haven't provided a reason why my flight canceled, neither did they refund my money. I have contacted Airline and they said Travelgenio was not allowed to book that ticket. They told me flight is active but there is no ticket registered at the airport for our booking. Crazy right? I know so don't be the next victim. I called their customer service, and customer service rep hung up on me twice without providing any explanation. I have sent them back to back many emails and no reply so far. My 540CAD vanished just like that. We should all get together to sue this company for its fraudulent activities.
