Customer Service is terrible
November 17, 2021

I booked a flight but unfortunately got corona and had to reschedule it. I contacted travelgenious to make the change. Indeed they replied to me but we had to exchange 18 emails to change the booking data. Sometimes they would just ignore all emails and start over. They quoted the same flight 3 times before I could pay it, since every time they asked me again and again for when should the new flight be. The payment I was able to do on the day of the initial flight, so it was a lot of stress combined with the insecurity of changing the flight on time (I still do not have the confirmation of the new flight).

I booked tickets via Kenya Airlines from Dubai to South Africa. I made use of Travelgenio and only afterwards realised that I will have to wait at least 72hours to receive my e-ticket. The e-ticket was send by email to me after only 1 day and I am very pleased with the service I received from them. Thank you Travelgenio and team

I have paid £28 for change of flight date then a request for such a change was made on 1 Nov but nothing was heard from the company even on 3 Nov and I intend to fly the next day! I made a phone call but no one answered! Sadly enough, nothing the airlines could do. I have learnt a lesson!

The ticket price during the booking different than was the actual charged from the card. I've booked an online ticket and during the booking process the price was lower (3660qr) than the actual charge (4000qr). This is unethical practice that none of the good agency will do. I have screen shots of the above. I cannot believe that there earn money base on cheating. Absolutely disappointed, customer service provided blank response, basically they did not return the difference. Be careful

Terrible company and terrible customer service, they stole my money 3 times. My ticket got cancelled because of Coronavirus which was understandable, then I paid extra for a voucher, got cancelled again, then paid again for another voucher, got cancelled again. So paid 3 times, didnt receive any flight, and when I asked for my money back, 0 compensation. Just flat out stole my money 3 times. This company has no respect for their customers and is completely fine to steal peoples money, absolutely disgraceful, NEVER USE THIS COMPANY OR YOU WILL GET SCAMMED AND WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY!

****UPDATE 29/10/21****

I responded to travelgenio with an email about my refund, guess what? Instead of paying me back or providing any form of compensation, they had the nerve and audacity to ASK ME FOR ANOTHER PAYMENT? Absolutely f****g crazy. Can you imagine? Please all beware and never use this company, they are the worst and will steal your money! Spread the word everyone and make sure people stay away from these SCAMMERS!

A Scam Site
October 26, 2021

Currently offering 420.00 GBP fare to India Heathrow to Amritsar too good to be true, I tried booking this fare, lucky me my card company blocked the payment and informed me, still they tried to take the payment out 8 times and still trying.

I got my refund from my credit card company and they fealty with the inefficiencies of Travelgenio… would n er book with Travelgenio again … So following my original post here, I was told by an automated response by Travelgenio to contact customer service using the email address associated with my booking which I did 6 days ago and have not yet received a reply. I booked two return flights to Cape Town plus baggage through Travelgenio with Tap airlines to fly 17th Dec 2021. Despite Travelgenio providing Tap airlines ticket numbers when sending confirmation of my booking, Tap airline have confirmed with me that there is no flight from Lisbon to CapeTown on that day, I now have no flight and no refund and am unable to get anyone from Travelgenio to respond!

Blackmailed via Email!
October 23, 2021

Booked ticket from Toronto to Delhi. First attempt to pay was blocked by my bank, so called bank up, unblocked these guys. When I attempted to make the payment, their website said, you need to make a new booking. So I did. Next day, I get two tickets, and my credit card charged twice. Despite contacting them right away, they said cancellation charges would apply. So I went ahead, and informed my bank about this, where they helped me out by raising a dispute and cancelling the payment for the first ticket. Next week, I get an email threatening they will cancel my second ticket unless I pay in full for the first one! So, now I am being blackmailed in written! Since I have to travel as planned, my options are limited!

I have tried writing to Travelgenio to convey this issue of non receipt of e-ticket and all I am being told is to see the trips... but E-tickets are no where in sight. This is scary.

I booked flight to Egypt on Sep 9th, 21 to fly on Nov. 5th, 21, received confirmation email that booking confirmed with airline include full flight details. Today Oct. 16th, called to check if can do changes or buy additional bag, agent informed me that my flight already changed to Nov. 6th instead 5th, I was shocked, asked him how that could happen and even no any email or phone call to inform me, representative have no answer and doesn't know either why, he ask me to fly next day or choose other day, I told him now don't trust your company service any more and need full refund, he right away over the phone told me your trip canceled and he sent email confirmation.
I asked, do I will receive full refund and when, his answer 2-3 month and less around $60 booking fee!

I asked him how that could happen, it's even not my fault, you don't have the right to charge me any fee... right away hung up on me.

Now calling them back, on hold for 25 min, finally one lady, her name Fatma pick up the call, I asked her if can speak to supervisor, she reply: no I can't
Do that!
I explained everything to her, she told me the $60 is management fee, I told her how you charge me for your company mismanagement?

She told me will check with supervisor now, immediately she hung up on me!
Now I have to call my credit card company and dispute this charges, who knows, from 2-3 months may will receive any refunds and will not be able to dispute it as will be longer than 90 days.

What a bad experience, very disappointed but really I'm very lucky that called earlier before my flight
Day otherwise will be in the airport on Nov. 5th and will be surprised by no flight and miss my nephew wedding!

Don't buy!

They said that my flight was canceled but in fact it never existed, I looked at the airline and there was no flight for the time they sent me, so they invent excuses to get in touch with the airline.

Booked a flight. Call ahead to change the day they told me its not possible to change even tjo the airline confirmed the have flights for the day i want it changed to. They keep giving me the run around after trying several times because no one ever answere the phone.To make it worse I bought my flight with protection and im not getting a clear reason why im being told i will have to bear the lost of the ticket for all three of us that was traveling. It is the worst please dont use there service. Representative were rude and very unprofessional. Unwilling to help, each time you call someone tell you something else... they are the worse ever.

Literal Rubbish
October 10, 2021

Literal rubbish. Don't even think of getting anywhere near this rubbish of a company. My wait time was over 180 minutes and a very rude man answered at the end and said he has access to no systems. And he need to request that and wait 24 hours for response and asked me to call again after 24 hours and see if there is a response. And when i asked i am supposed to be on line again waiting for over 180 minutes to get to you just to hear your update? He said yes of course. What a rubbish company. What a scam.

While booking flight tickets final amount shown was different and when payment withdrawn from my account it was $60 more. Thay are looters stay away from them. Not even customer care replying. Not given any invoice. Bull$#*!

No Customer Service

I booked my tickets first time with this Travegenio. I called to change my flight because there had been an emergency and I even purchased refundable insurance while booking. Their customer service told me there is strict policy from the airline provider that the ticket is non-changeable and directed me to fill out refund form. However, I called airline West Jet and they mentioned Due to COVID all the tickets are changeable and can be cancelled free of charge this policy is in effect till Dec 31st 2021. This pandemic is not a new news and these guys run their business is such a bad faith that after talking to their customer service three times the refused to agree on anything and when asked for supervisor I was told "our supervisors don't talk to the customers". I accept my mistake for not reading their reviews before booking and end up having this experience. This is a fraud business. They lie to the customers to steal money. It is actually stealing because I agreed to pay the price difference if they could change it but they decide to put their customer through the bad experience. Never going to use it again and never recommending anyone.

My worst experience
September 25, 2021

This is my worst experience ever and I assure you I will never use your awful service again. Your company is not professional, nor does the business that is supposed to be doing. I spent 10 days trying to get my right back (my money) and you were doing nothing, not supporting, not helping, and not advising either. In fact, just doing the opposite and stealing my money. You were directing me to the airlines and the airlines were directing me back to you and I was lost in between. You even rejected to contact the airlines, and this was part of the MANAGING BOOKING that your company ought to do. You were paid to do this on behalf of me but this didn't happen, you just gave me a very hard time. You take all your money, and you did NOTHING and now you are refusing to give me back my money for the service I didn't use and the flight I didn't take.

The bought the extra "flexible terms" and I was not able to use one ticket.
The airline itself agreed to refund my ticket but Travelgenio even refused to contact the airline.
Their system is designed to confuse the customer and waste his time so the customer get board and drop his claim

I made a booking for travelling from South Africa to Harare on the 8th of October 2021 with Travegenio and received confirmation that my ticket was now guaranteed since I had made payment. 2 hours later I received an email saying my back had refused payment which was false as payment had already went through and there are no limits or restrictions on my card as I confirmed this by calling my bank directly. The payment was processed. I have send an email to customer. *******@travegenio & *******@travelgenio.us and no reply has been given. I was naive to book with this agency a lesson I have leant the hard way.
