Avoid this company at any cost. Our flight in June was cancelled due to Corona virus pandemic and we tried to find another one but Polish airlines kept cancelling them because Polish country borders were closed so there was no chance to use our reservation with them. Travelgenio never reached out to us regarding our claim for a refund. Their customer service is non existent and all I keep getting is generic emails - it's impossible to reach them and get an answer. It's been 7 months since the flight got cancelled and at this point I can make a conclusion - THIS COMPANY IS A FRAUD! If there is an class action lawsuit against this company I would gladly join it.
I purchased 6 tickets (one for each member of my family) for a flight with Air Tanzania. The flight was cancelled due to covid. I opened a case with Travelgenio to get the refund in May 2020. They told me that the airline had 3 months to answer and that they didn't have a clearly defined refund protocol. So I call again 7 MONTHS LATER, and Travelgenio tells me that they can't do anything. They sent me in the direction of the airline, which happens to be the least responsive airline in the world. That's how I was robbed of hundreds of dollar paying for a flight that never flew. And Travelgenio did nothing. Like with most intermediaries, Travelgenio should be avoided.

Air Portugal refunded the tickets on the 24th June 2019 - (not to me)for a cancelled flight. After several emails and visits to the web site generating messages saying please don't call again we are sorting this out, please be patient. I was asked for my bank details in mid December saying that because the account was so old they couldn't refund the card now. Having given my bank details I was told to wait 15 days to be paid and I still haven't got a refund by the 5th Jan 2021, AND THIS IS ONLY ONE REFUND.

I bought tickets on Norwegian Airlines that were canceled by the airline. The airline refuinded the funds to Travegenio and they are now not answering my calls or emails.

Terrible experience. Due to a problem with their website they booked my ticket for the wrong month. I called them not even 20 minutes later to explain the problem and correct the problem, and they charged me over 80$ US to change the flight. Refused to help me and refused to let me speak with any sort of management. A cheap flight has turned into a very expensive one indeed.
Dates are checked and confirmed before authorising the purchase. Once this happens, we must follow ticket and airline conditions for any change. Regards
So after booking with Travelgenio, I noticed in my bank account that they double dipped me. They charged me twice for the same ticket. Not Kool!
When I noticed the charge, I contacted them and then they contacted me after I filled a written dispute. It was a written dispute, so there was a paper trail. That was after a month had passed. In the written response, Travelgenio had informed me that I had to go through Alaska Airlines. I contacted them and they had informed me that I had to go through TravelGenio. I contacted them and once again, then they referred me back to Alaska Airlines.
Moral of the story is never buy anything through these con artists. They are a scam company, and it's better just to book through the airlines. Lesson learned! I guess I have no other option other than to just eat the loss and learn from it. It's a tough one, but I guess there is nothing I can do about it.

I booked two London to Brisbane flights (Royal Brunei) for departure in March this year and applied for a refund/credit note when it was cancelled. After waiting four months for any response (in addition to frustrations over a non-existent phone service - the number didn't work) I received an automated update explaining the delay. The last email sent was back in July, telling me they were sorting it out and I would be refunded within 7 days (despite making reference to the wrong airline). Five months later I am still without a refund and every time I try to write to them I receive another automated response telling me the email address is no longer valid.
Utterly appalling communication and service.

Where to start? This company is a criminal organization.
Having booked through skyscanner I ended up booking with travelgenio for a flight to Cuba, due to fly in may 2020.
Due to covid we were unable to fly and this was when we realized than travelgenio do not reply to their customers. We didn't even get a confirmation email from them telling us our flights were officially canceled, we only knew from contacting the airline ourselves.
During the following months and hours trying to contact on the telephone, along with now hundreds of emails, we got two reply's stating the refund would be processed by august. It later came to light, again from my contact with the airline directly that the refund was not applied for by travelgenio until the end of July.
Continuing correspondence with the airline I finally got confirmed that the refund had been processed and completed in October 2020. To my surprise (sarcastic) I have not had any contact from travelgenio since.
I continue to speak with a representative at sky scanner, who clearly gets false reply's from travelgenio saying they have contacted my on a certain date, this is an outright lie.
Travelgenio only care about keeping their business partnerships with platforms such as skyscanner, and that is why they reply to their emails, but they don't reply to mine.
Please avoid everyone! They are nowhere to be seen. There is nobody on the phones, there is nobody replying to emails.
They have taken thousands of euros from me and disappeared into thin air.
My next step is to push for skyscanner to remove them from their platform, to stop people being in the same boat as me. A quick look online and I can see thousands of similar people in my case and skyscanner need to take some responsibility for marketing this company.

My name is PITSIKOULIS ANTONIOS. I bought a ticket from travelgenio for a domestic flight in Greece. I didn't fly cause of lockdown. The airline company make the ticket open. Firstly, Travelgenio answer me by email once that I was no show. Then in phone tell me ticket used. On the phone you have to have a lot of patience and time. More than an hour waiting and callin repeatedly. After two days they told me open and then when I choose to change reservation they ask me 80 euros! The ticket costs 90 euros and had paid for insurance 30 euros. I have no other words. Stay away from Travelgenio. Don't bait with cheap fares. Trust the airlines or travel agencies with physical presence.

Do not book from them. Customer service is unbelievably bad. They won't help you if your flights gets cancelled. Won't get any help from them at all. They will give you hassle only and try to take more money to change the flight even thought flights are cancelled by airline. Still no news news about my cancelled flight. They won't pick up phone either. Feeling like getting robbed by this company. When I spoke to them first asked for their policy to customer service lady Tatiana I wasn't provided. Also can't find any policies on their website. Trying to get their address for to send legal notice and also complaining soon to IATA soon as I can see they are IATA member on their website

Pe data de 13 Februarie 2020 am plătit un zbor dus-întors din Bucuresti spre Munich Intl (München) care era in data de 06.04.2020 și întoarcerea pe data de 20.04.2020. Zborul a fost anulat din cauza Covid-19. De atunci au trecut 9 luni și rambursarea mea încă este in proces. Nu este normal! Actualy i wouldnt suggest it at all. My flight was canceled by airlines. They mad refund after calling 11 time after 7 months with threat that i will make complainment by airport. Then they sent me money less 30€ because of adminstration fee. My sister booked same flight with other company got total refund after 2 months.

As everyone in this forum know, this company is really the worst I have ever met. Lets see whats going on. Airline company cancells your flight and travel2be does not inform you. Ok, you are luckily informed by airline company. So you write to travel2be to give you some option.It takes them more then one month to tell you there is no option, only to refund. You are sad but what can you do. You agree and ask travel2be to refund all tickets. And guess what. They tell you they refund only cancelled flight by airline, but return way is not cancelled so they DO NOT REFUND! You think they are kidding, because youR destination is on the other side of Atlantic. This really bad company really means I will swim across Atlantic ocean just to flight back to Europe. They goT really crazy and potentials customers! Be aware! This bad company does nothing for customers. More negative comments - bigger chance less people use their service. Good luck people!
As a third party we must follow airline procedures and allowance policy. If they do not authorise the refund because the flight was not cancelled, we must follow their guidelines and inform you about it. Regards
Where do I begin? I knew with long distance flights there could always be complications so I made sure to purchase my tickets with insurance plus! With all that is currently going on I wrote travelgenio customer service to be sure my flight was active and how to request a refund as I was sure I was entitled. I clearly wrote I had insurance on my first email. They kept telling I had no right to a refund, when after about 10 emails the agent said that he had not even checked my tickets and didn't know I was travel plus. All the while I'm telling them this is an urgent situation I need to go back home and if my ticket is cancelled I need to try and purchase a new one. Now all of a sudden my ticket is actually cancelled, never having anyone sent me a confirmation of this. I am told my refund is being processed, no confirmation of this received what so ever, so I have to take travelgenios word for it. I asked them repeatedly about how long it will take and amounts, and when I thought the worse has happened it gets worse, I get some reponse from an agent with just two dots. It has been 10 days of me trying to get some sort of feedback and nothing! I'm not one to even write a review but this has been draining and exhausting and still no help! And every day that goes by my actual chances of being able to go home are reduced! This doesn't seem to sink in. I have worked on this industry for many years, I couldn't even imagine treating a customer this way!

Still waiting for them to fixe my situation, trying to delay my refund pretending that the air fly company isn't allowed me to get a full refund but voucher instead.
Covid still here I can't afford to travel anymore and i don't want to have this voucher and been robbed as the company will go bank corrupt.
Both Air Austral and Travelgenio are rubbish and scams.
Please avoid them don't take any risks and do not put yourself on deep $#*!!
As long as I don't have my money back I will keep posting genuine comments and let everyone know know bad you treat your clients.

I booked my tickets through Travelgenio and due to COVID 19 all the flight were cancelled. They gave me two option for my booking, keep ticket open or refund. I choose refund option and it has been 4 months and still I didn't get any refund.
Whenever I called to customer care they keep on long hold and than hang up. After tried number of time one of customer representative (her name REGINA) didn't gave proper answer of my refund, I request for talk with supervisor but she denied to transfer the call and she said if you want to complain then write a review on our website.
They don't care about their customer. Never ever book the ticket from Travelgenio. Very disappointed with customer service.

Spent 6 months trying to process a refund for a flight that was cancelled by the airlines. Only for them to send me an email saying my ticket is non-refundable (it is, I confirmed with the airlines). It is almost impossible to get a hold of them over the telephone, and the two times that I finally did, once the operator hung up on me, the second she didn't speak English (I was calling from Canada and it was a Canadian customer service number). All in all, awful experience.
