I should have made that clear in my original review. I only shop T. J. Maxx online. Our local store is a disgrace and has gone way down hill. Rack are crammed with clothes. Look dirty. Even the store appears dirty in general. Used to love going in the store. Now I never do. No point.
I go to TJ MAXX (around the corner) only for household goods or gifts! I'm larger sized, so clothes and a lot of jewelry is out of the picture. They do have stuff that is cute & unusual in the home/kitchen/decor section but every single one you do have to kind of watch... I think they throw stuff on the shelf when stocking! Just examine anything you find & intend to buy VERY carefully for damage, chips, tears, whatever...
Tons of gift ideas that are unique. I don't like mall shopping and the convenience of a free standing store is at the top of my list. Clothes for 50 + females lacking in the last couple years. Baby clothes beautiful. Nice intimate selection.
Have shopped here for about two plus years. While the popular brands are hit or miss I am always able to find things discounted that I would buy anyway. Purses, shoes, men's under armor are a few of the things that come to mind. It's great to find something you know others have paid way more for on line or in another store. Love shopping here.
I love shopping at T. J. Maxx stores. They have lovely surprises every where from clothing to bedding to wall decor. I could spend hours in there and keep finding things I missed. I especially like the name brands that I don't pay name brand prices for. Marshall's for instance, shoes and clothes to die for but get there early the cute stuff goes fast.
Good prices, however, clothing appears to be not as exciting or fashionable as before. I loved Willi Smith pieces! And they no longer carry them. I tend to shop more at Marshalls now. Although, the purses are still as awesome as ever!
I love TJ-Maxx because of their great selection of stock designer items and fair prices. They offer a wide range of clothing, shoes, home decor, accessories, and jewelry. TJ-Maxx's prices are usually about half of what you'll find at the original stores, even though you can be sure all the designer items are 100% real. Great place for shopping!
Was at Naples FL store middle of weekday 3 cashiers and over 20 groups of people waiting. After 15 minutes someone who looked like a manager called a few extra cashiers deplorable service. Why don't they call available cashiers once line is over 10 people I don't get it
Ordered 2 wood tables, both arrived SHATTERED. There was not one ounce of packaging in these boxes other than a paper thin sheet of whoknowswhat. NOTHING, NADA, ZILCH. I called the online number and was told I would have to send pictures to the e-commerce department. I sent the pictures to the address immediately. I received an email back stating the associate has "started an investigation" with the photos and I should receive a refund within 10 business days. I am really baffled as to why there is the need for an "investigation". This is not a murder scene. I requested clarification on this and have not had a response. It has been 2 days. IMO, 10 days to be holding over $400 of my money is unacceptable. This was their issue, not mine. How about training your employees how to pack a box or better yet, if this is coming from a vendor, have a quality discussion. This is online shipping 101. So, I will sit for 10 days and wait for the "investigation" which at this point is laughable.
When I moved this past summer to my first apartment, I was left with the daunting task of furnishing it after the hefty expenses of paying broker's fees and security deposits. I had always considered T. J. Maxx a clothing store in past years, but when I ventured toward the decor section, I realized it was SO much more. Not only were they able to fit my budget, but they made my vision of the first apartment come alive. I continue to get compliments on my furnishings today, and I proudly tell them where I found them. And should I relocate at the end of this lease, I know my house will always be a home with what I got at T. J. Maxx.
Placed an order 2 weeks ago, have not received any type of communication. When made an inquire about why it has not been shipped - customer service just CANCELLED the entire order of 4 different items. They didn't even try to find out what happened, just take an easy road and cancel everything without my consent. Fulfilment process is awful, customer service is awful too - they sending meaningless emails with empty apologies. Website pictures of items are poor quality and most of the time deceiving, therefore very often items need to be returned. When return to the store it takes an eternity, because associates at the registers MUST create a new label for each item, attached the label to the item, make some entries at the register and only after that they process customer's return. They do have good prices, however this is NOT an excuse for terrible service
T. J. Maxx is an outstanding discount retail clothing store featuring name brand clothing at reduced prices. They also have other kinds of merchandise such as luggage, purses, accessories, furniture, and household items. Shop at your nearest T. J. Maxx and get the biggest bang for your buck!
The shipping duration is insane. It has been 7 business days and my item still has not shipped. That is absolutely ridiculous. TJ Maxx, your business really needs to step it up. This is how you lose business. I will never order online again.
I received a generic email stating my order has been cancelled. No reason given as to why. If you have questions you can waste more of your time calling them to ask why. I should have looked first as I see I'm not the only one who has had this issue. I spent time looking through your site shopping. Good customer service would be explaining why the items were cancelled instead of a generic email with no information.
They don't have lower prices on a particularly celebrated day: Mother's Day, Christmas or what have you. They have the lowest prices everyday. National brands,. No frills,. No gimmicks,. Just branded products at lowest prices. I bought a dress Polo shirt at T.Js for $15 and the same shirt was priced at $110 at Saks Fifth Ave. Even if you're well-off and don't mind paying $110 for the shirt at a top name retailer DON'T think you're getting $110 worth of materials and labor. Approximately 90% of that cost is 'margin'. A tax on idiots who are pretentious.
Love shopping here. Its hit or miss for brand name things but have scored so many great things for the whole FAM. Bottom line is if you want great brand name stuff on the cheap... go for it. They get multiple deliveries per week. Worth your time. Gave it a four BC of hit and miss.
TJ Maxx is a great store for finding amazing deals on brand name clothing, shoes, accessories and home goods. They have a huge selection of items that are always fresh and trendy. The quality is excellent and the prices are unbeatable. I love shopping at TJ Maxx and discovering new treasures every time.
I love this store! I order online a lot and get disappointed each time but TJ Maxx did not disappoint! I will order again when my favorite items go on sale. They have a lot of things to choose from but they run out really fast.
They have put a system in place that requires you to spend 30 minutes waiting for them to authorize each charge on each card that you bought. Plus the personnel are not at all trained and the people at the other end of the telephone have no idea what they're doing.
If you've ever bought anything in TJmaxx then you too can authenticate my opinion that this store is the bomb, great prices, good brands, excellent locations. I can go shopping with $100 and come out looking like I spent $1000.
Answer: This site takes a lot longer to ship than normal sites. I do not know why they are slow. There's a chance they could also cancel your order because their inventory status is not usually up to date.
Answer: It's probably in the process of being cancelled. Tjmaxx online sucks
Answer: It seems they run true to size. I haven't had any difficulty but don't know about others.
