I ve spent 3h on their webstore. My order was cancelled (ALL items). I've tried to chat with them online and by phone- noone answer! It s a big misunderstanding, not an online shop!
Dont waist your time. By the way, The choice in stationary stores leaves much to be desired.
Found light weight summer tops for under $15 (one was Jones of NY!) for FL gardening. So pleased that I went back and picked up a couple more. Recommend this store! Not 5 stars because store wasn't very neat.
Since TJ Maxx has dropped my favorite line I'll be shopping elsewhere. They may not agree with who our President is and drop the Ivanka Trump line, I will be shopping for her clothes elsewhere. Goodbye stupid. I've spent thousands of dollars in your stores, no more. Amazon here I come!
My card was canceled after been with this company for 9 years just because I didn't make any purchases last year.They never emailed me or sent any statements saying that my account was about to be closed.I am very disappointed.since have been with both stores so long home goods as well...
On my last visit (I go about 1x month) I found succulent plant holders, Cuisinart salt/pepper shakers, Vince Camuto shoes and some cool house decor in a bargain bin. TJ Maxx is an adventure. It is the place to go for expensive/exotic toiletries that are authentic and pennies on the dollar to full price at large Dept. Stores. There are always hidden gems there! Sometimes you have to dig, since so much in poked into tight spaces, but if you a true Shopper like I am - you'll do it and get a kick out of it. The bargains are superb. The merchandise is first rate. I am never disappointed there, but always thrilled. I find something special on each visit. I hate to give it away... but I think you should give TJ Maxx a good, long look some day! All the best.
I was so amazed with the values that I spent over $100. Helpful Clerk Sherry helped me fill out what was needed for a TJMAX Credit Card explaining every detail. She was so patient while I tried to come up with my Social Security Number. I travel 40 minutes to shop at this special store! In Sycamore, IL. Everyone in the store reaches out to see if you need any help. Everything is very clean. There were lots of unique fall ideas. My shopping experience just made my day!

I was very excited to start taking advantage of TJ Maxx's online store. However, my experience with my first order has been horrible. I haven't received my order over 2 weeks after its ship date. The tracking information has said it will be delivered several different times, and then no package. Customer service has been non responsive and impossible to reach, which is unacceptable. TJ Maxx is using a discount shipping service that is known to be unreliable and incredibly slow; the very least they could do is actually respond to the (I'm assume many) issues that arise because of this. I have faithfully shopped with the TJX company for years and spend a lot of money there; this has completely ruined my opinion of this company and they have lost several customers as a result of this terrible experience.
I purchased some clothes on Feb 2023 and tried to return on May. Also, I lost my receipt. So they rejected my return request. On their return policy only"Merchandise that is used, worn and in unsellable conditions will not be accepted for refund, merchandise credits or exchanges". All the clothes are never wear/wash and attached a price tag with them. They can hang out and sale easily. Don't understand why can't I get store credits for next time purchasing. TJ Maxx at Poughkeepsie NY is the store I have my bad experience.
They stuck in the stone age. Stores, sure messy but cute. Be very careful, not to throw away a bag, people lost. Can't diferentiate between red pants and black jackets on the return label. And whatever you do, do NOT use PayPal, your money is theirs forever as a store credit! Even if you used debit card. Horrible! Stone age!
TJ Maxx for years has been one of my favorite stores. Great selection and value. Today I entered the Tacoma Store. There was one gal outside passing out masks and counting customers entering and leaving. When I entered there were 4 more masked (police) employees at the entrance. They followed customers around (rather creepily) and kept chirping to keep their masks on. Cover their noses, etc. I feel more like I am in communist China. Sadly, I wont be shopping there for a very long time.
I placed two orders on Monday morning, utilizing the free shipping standard method, and thinking as most online retailers do, that the items would ship that day or the next. They were not shipped for nearly a week. When I realized they hadn't shipped and phoned customer service to pay expedited shipping or cancel the order, so I could re-order and enact expedited shipping at my cost, that was impossible for them to perform. Once you place an order, nothing can be done with that order by the shipper. Now, I had to go through UPS have the orders held, and I get to drive to another city to pick them up in a week. Do not order from TJ Maxx.com and expect any valid customer service communication.
I have never encountered customer service as bad as Tjmax's. These people hang up the phone on you because they refuse to help. If most of them do it, it is undoubtedly because this behavior is encouraged by their superior.
My rating is for your bathrooms at Mount Pleasant Ave NJ area. Five shoppers)myself included) were not able to use the bathrooms due to the level of uncleanliness. These conditions are very inconsiderate to your shoppers who are spending good money! Not to mention this level of uncleanliness increases COVID transmissions due to unsanitary high touch surfaces. Please do better!
Love going to TJ Maxx. Always find something I need, want, have to have. Great prices! If I have a return with my receipt, even if it is over 30 days, They either give me my money back or store credit. Love this place!
Across the top of every page on tjmaxx.com it clearly states "easy free returns at your local store" What is hidden, is that some items are only returnable by UPS and the customer will be charged. In order to find this, you have to click on the product description and scroll down 10 lines of fine print and it is indicated there. This is poor customer treatment. I will never shop the TJMaxx online store again.
I've been a loyal customer for decades. TJ Maxx has lost me for good. No more mask mandates, in my state, and I am fully vaccinated... but the fitting rooms are STILL CLOSED, and customers must wear masks? No. Ridiculous. Wake up, corporate. I will not patronize a business which requires a fully vaccinated loyal customer to wear a mask, and doesn't permit her to try on clothing in the store.
And corporate needs to realize that people are purchasing clothes in the store, bringing them into the handicap stall in the rear of the store, trying them on, and returning the ones they don't want, immediately.
I purchased some clothes a few months ago at TJ Maxx ago, brought the clothes to the filthy tire shop bathroom next door, tried them on there, and came back and returned the ones I didn't want.
Just open the dang dressing rooms. Insanity, TJ Maxx.
This store has the worst customer service, my wife and I were told if we need to use the restroom we would have to go across the street No explanation was offering other than they were closed
Tjmaxx cancelled my order without notifying me. I had to keep logging into my account to check the status of my order, only to find out it's actually been cancelled. Called customer service and I was told "there's nothing I can do, when you place an order on tjmaxx.com it's not guaranteed you'll receive the items." Those were the exact words. This is one of THE worst online shopping experience. Ever.
I am so disappointed at the TJ Maxx in Brunswick Maine. I have been such a fan of TJ Maxx over the years, but the last couple times and tonight especially so disappointed in how they handle their register. We went to the line and it must've been 20 people deep or more and all they had at the register were two women who did such a marvelous job, but everybody was waiting. I watch the manager throwing returns in the carriage right outside of the lines, and did nothing to help at the register or to add people, nor did they call anybody from the back of the store to help all of whom we're just rearranging displays over the years I was always in awe as to how they were so customer orientated at the register. If there was more than three or four people in line, they would always call extra people to help.
With wonderful booty to behold... I have to limit myself to one visit aweek or I'd be broke but I love this store and not just for the clothes for everything from dog beds to tea... and it's always changing so you don't get bored... perfect!
Answer: This site takes a lot longer to ship than normal sites. I do not know why they are slow. There's a chance they could also cancel your order because their inventory status is not usually up to date.
