I ordered a laptop from TigerDirect about a week ago, and my god was the service TERRIBLE. I ordered the laptop and received an email confirmation with an order number on it. I checked the order number every day to make sure everything was in order, and I began to get suspicious why my laptop was not being shipped yet, so I called customer service. They said that the laptop would be shipped the next day and I will receive my tracking number for my package. The day passes and the laptop is still in their "third party warehouse". I call the day after that to check again, and I get hung up on in the middle of my call by TWO representatives, and before that I was on hold for around 30 minutes on both. I called a THIRD representative just to get a refund. The refund WAS quick, and it was the amount I paid them though. I have worked with friends' and coworkers' laptops from TigerDirect, and they are great quality, but their customer service definitely needs some work.
We had bought from Tiger some years ago, so we ordered a refurb. It actually worked for a few hours, and then it didn'[t. I called and wasted a lot of tim e onm the phone. Finally they said if ti was defective, I needed to contact the refurb place. I needed a code. The person there said they could not send a code--needed an e-mail from Tiger. Called Tiger and was told they needed that code. I cried a lot. Eventually someone said someone would call back but I'm not holding my breath.
The best computer hardware store that I have interacted with so far. I dod not think that they oiuld have hardware copatible with my computer. As it turns out, they actually did and I made my order. There was a lot to choose from and that made it better for me.
The Customer service of TigerDirect is rude and not knowledgeable on the services and company policies. I have called and got to spoken to: Jennifer; She was rude and unprofessional and has no knowledge about the company policies. The information she give was wrong, and moreover; she was very rude and arrogant. I will never place another order with this company, because just to change an email address is so asinine and archaic. Jennifer the customer service rep needs customer service training.
I ordered parts from them on Monday at 11 AM. I paid for overnight shipping. As of Wednesday they still haven't even shipped. When I talked to them on Tuesday one of their reps just hung up on me rather than finding out when the order would actually ship. I called back and got another rep and she promised they had stock in a warehouse in New Jersey and would definitely ship that day. Wednesday and they still haven't shipped and today the story is there was a glitch on their order system on Monday so the warehouse still doesn't have the order but he would be happy to send it over today. Rotten service and worse their customer service people can't be trusted to give you an honest answer.
I purchased a HP laptop on April 8. I called them in June to tell them that the screen was blinking on and off. They recommended that I call Joy Systems to get help with the issue. I called them for a few weeks and never got a response until I sent an email on July 13. On July 14 I received an email with a video on how to add RAM to a computer. They were expecting me to work on the laptop based on a YouTube video. I was not comfortable with that. Since I purchased an extended warranty, I called TigerDirect and asked if this was typical and Ken (TigerDirect) told me that it was. Do yourself a favor do not purchase from them unless you are comfortable fixing computers. Now my business is out of hundreds for dollars and all they can say is they are sorry.

I received my HP laptop and I can't get it to work. It says I need to install the windows disc, which I didn't receive. My paperwork from Joy Systems says it's preinstalled. I waited on hold for 17 minutes, then the recording said to call back they were busy. I then sent an email to *******@joysystems.com. I called Tiger Direct and the representative hung up on me after I told her the problem. So I called back, and the rep- named Alvin said I had to call Joy Systems after I explained what happened previously. He said to get the case number they assign me. So I guess I'll try to call them one more time before I return this laptop. Needless to say I won't buy anything from Tiger Direct or Joy Systems
I used to purchase a few things from Tiger direct about 10 years ago. I don't live in the region any more and thus have no interest in receiving their promo emails. The emails come at a frequency of 1 a day and sometimes 2 per day. When I click unsubscribe I get a screen saying that my order could not be completed (there isn't any order) and that I must call a number. I called the number and they said they would remove my email from the list. I got more emails.
Also, I made a rule in gmail to delete all emails from them and they still come into my inbox. How is that possible?
Because I ordered a few times from them, I can now not get rid of their daily onslaught of marketing emails. This is a terrible service.

I called Tigerdirect and checked to make sure a product was in stock. The got put me on hold for 3-4 minutes and then said yes its in stock and then described how good the unit looked. I ordered the product right then and there. I was looking at specs right after i ordered it and it said temporarily out of stock. So great they took it out of stock right after i ordered it.
2 days later i receive and email that says sorry my product is out of stock. I am laid off. I need a laptop to job search. This company screwed me. I called and customer service was extremely rude. Sorry sir. You were too slow. What? I ordered right after the call?
Paid for a webcam. No mention at all on their website that the unit was not in stock. Days later I receive an email saying it's back-ordered. No one at TigerDirect answers the phone or responds to chat inquiries. Total scam. Do not do business with this company unless you enjoy throwing money away.
If I can put lest rating I will, I buy a computer, didn't come as I request,( Was dirty and broken) I didn't even use, same day I receive I call to return, take a while to receive email back from them, i keep calling customer service, NO help, finally after calling almost every day they send me the order to return, I shipped back now it is more than two month I don't have my refund. STAY AWAY FROM TIGGERDIRECT. I am still waiting for my refund

I received a defective computer system from Tiger Direct. I only discovered the defect (camera not working) after spending a great deal of time migrating files and settings from my old system to the new one and installing programs such a Microsoft Office, my email program etc.
Because I didn't want to have to start over with setting up a replacement system, I decided I would live with the system without a working camera. I asked for a refund for part of the system price to compensate for the defective system. But I was told they would only replace the defective system or provide a $10 credit to my account for use on my next purchase, but the credit would be good for only two weeks. I was told "Take it or leave it!"
That kind of customer service is wholly unacceptable!
When buying from TigerDirect, keep in mind it's generally closeouts and clearance items, so you probably are getting older models. However, you're also paying substantially less in trade-off.
I've bought three times through Tiger Direct: a laptop, a monitor, and the components to build a desktop. In each case, checkout was easy and delivery was fast. The products were exactly as advertised. I had no reason to contact their customer service as a result, so can't speak to how that would work.

Ordered the product Friday night; took delivery Tuesday morning. Plugged it in to charge up. Two hours later I was transferring data/programmes from the old laptop to the new one. I have had it for over a month, no problems (yet).
