I used to like StubHub for all my ticket needs, but someone just introduced TicketHub.co to me, which as really surprisingly low prices for concert and sports tickets as compared to StubHub.

I accidentally purchased 5 overpriced tickets for the wrong location. I didn't notice because the stadium designs were so similar. 30 seconds after I confirmed my order, I realized I had messed up and called Stub Hub. They said that they could not cancel the transaction even though it had not yet processed, but that I could list my tickets again on their site. I was in tears because these tickets were so expensive and they were a bday present for my son but they did nothing. When I listed my tickets, they immediately suggested that I list for $50 less than I had purchased them 30 seconds ago. Not to mention, this would also leave me without recovering the insane fees they charge. So within 10 minutes, I am out $500. I was only able to sell 3 of the 5 tickets I purchased, so I took an $800 hit because they couldn't cancel an order that hadn't even processed. I will NEVER purchase through stub hub again. Their staff was rude and became belligerent when i told them their site policies were criminal. I would give them 0 stars if that were an option.

It is criminal the way stub hub has handled the refund of postponed shows during the pandemic. I paid $3,300 for two tickets to The Eagles originally scheduled for April 26,2020 in Phoenix. They postponed the show to October of 2020, then postponed the show again to September of 2021. StubHub claims they bought my tickets from an individual when in fact the bought the tickets from the concert promoter as they were advertising entire rows and sections available for sale. They now insist on keeping my money for nearly 2 years and are only willing to allow me to re-list my tickets for sale in competition with their own tickets WHEN tickets go back on sale again. I protested this to American Express and they took StubHubs position. I wouldn't do another ounce of business with either StubHub or American Express. DO NOT BUY THROUGH STUBHUB!

PLEASE WHATEVER YOU DO, DONT USE THIS WEBSITE TO SELL TICKETS. I took my offer off of stubhub and it "didnt go through" and so I was charged $241. I called them and they told me (actually promised) that I wouldnt have to pay more than what I sold the tickets for and I called back today and got hung up on and then was told that the promise was not true.

StubHub is constantly buying unwanted tix & offering them on their site, so tix offered is constantly changing. I enjoyed going back to the site each time to see what new tix they had available.

My daughter purchases tickets for the Usher concert in vegas for this coming weekend 7-14-23. She paid for her hotel and air tickets. Now she gets an email stating that the seller has changed her tickets to a different seating that is way up in the balcony and stated that if she doesn't approve of that she can be refunded! Her whole trip is messed up, she can't get her money back for her hotel or her plane fare, and the seller isn't being made accountable for it! Customer service hasn't made the seler accountable - who is going to fix this damn travesty. This has apparently happened to others and this is a false representation of the services offered. I WILL NEVER EVER GIVE THIS COMPANY A REFERRAL. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES, THIS ISN'T GOOD BUSINESS PRACTICES AT ALL. I WILL BE CONTACTING THE BBB! YOU NEED TO MAKE THIS RIGHT ASAP FOR JAMEE HARRIS!

False advertising
May 28, 2020

I have purchased electronic tickets, a night before the event, for a tournament and have not received any follow up confirmation. On the day of the event I have still not received any confirmation or electronic tickets. After getting to the event of 300,000 people, I checked with Will Call and they could not locate any tickets under my name. I called StubHub and they stated that I've purchased paper tickets and they are located at some hotel which is 10 miles away. Since we were traveling with our friends, we did not drive and could not get an uber due to the busy event. We simply got scammed from StubHub. They false advertise that tickets were electronic and then stating that they were paper tickets AFTER purchase and NEVER providing a confirmation. We ended up repurchasing tickets on the spot again from StubHub just so we can enjoy the event with our friends. What a nightmare. I figured after getting home from our trip I will give them a call and they will recognize their fault of false advertising and not sending a confirmation. Since they scammed me from electronic tickets and providing paper tickets, if I have received confirmation, I could of planned ahead and got the tickets. They said they did sent a confirmation, which is once again a lie, I never received any confirmation. StubHub has ignored the issue and rejected helping us out. Even though we have repurchased tickets from them again! They ended up getting business from us twice! They are a scam company! I am seeking a legal advice and filing attorney general complaint.

Two days before our concert we had not received our tickets. We began calling customer service. NO ONE knew how to assist us, just sending us through the same online exercise over and over. Then one employee told us he would send a notification so the next day we would just click on a link for our tickets. Previously we had rented a place in the town of the concert & drove 6hrs to get there. All the while checking for tickets. The night of the concert on the phone with customer service, on hold seven times, requesting a supervisor we got no where. Then we said we would only speak to a manager. She was condescending but explained how to navigate & retrieve our tickets 20 minutes before the concert. We said we wouldn't make the concert in time so asked for a refund. She told us we would need to provide screen shots proving our delay retrieving online tickets. Since we had so much money involved we rushed to the venue & arrived to the concert LATE. We saw part of a concert we paid full price for.

I bought tickets to the Oddball Comedy Fest THREE MONTHS before the concert date. One month before, they change the concert date from a Saturday to a Tuesday. I am a teacher and there is NO WAY I can get to a concert on a Tuesday. I talked to LiveNation and they give full refunds to the company that originally bought the ticket if the concert has been canceled or the date has changed. I had to talk to StubHub on the phone for FORTY FIVE MINUTES, thirty-five of those minutes being on hold! Only to be told that they will not get in contact with the originally buyer (who was fully refunded) and our only way out was to sell them again on their site. Im sorry, but WHO IS GOING TO PAY FULL PRICE FOR A SATURDAY SHOWING ON A TUESDAY! So upset. I will never use StubHub again.

Crooks
December 29, 2022

We purchased tickets to the fiesta bowl as soon as they announced the teams. A couple weeks later I got an email from stub hub saying our tickets were sent in another email and to accept them. I never got the email. I got two more reminder emails from stub hub to accept the tickets o still hadn't received so I called them. After making me check my email again, they opened a ticket. 4 days later I called again. They made me check my email AGAIN before talking to me then said they were working on it and call back in two days. The third call they again made me check my emails before talking to me and then said to give it two more days but they guaranteed I would get my tickets. Now on my fourth call I AGAIN had to check my emails then they took 20 min to verify that I did in fact qualify for their ticket guarantee which I was told was tickets that are as good or better. I was given a link to follow to get my new tickets. Well my original tickets were in the lower bowl. Now my options were all in the 400 section! When I complained that this is not the guarantee I was told I got 'I can't see them but that's what we can do'. Well I check the website and there were options available that were not on my link. The final straw was when I asked to speak to the manager because she was not able to honor the contract, I got told they would have to call me back within the hour. That call never came.
AVOID if you actually want to go to your event.

Never Again
December 2, 2023

I am a three time customer, so I write this review not based on one experience. The first two times I used Stub Hub I ran into ticket issues that were resolved so late that I thought I was having a heart attack near the time leading up the concert. One of those two times it was only resolved a few hours before an out of town concert! Those two times it was the ticket seller and me just trying to get the tickets I paid for. The app is not user friendly when buying resale tickets because there is no system in place to hold people accountable for sending the tickets to you. It is based solely on whether or not they choose to honor the sale - like if they get a better offer, the ticket seller can choose not to send the tickets. When that happens, you have to wait hours for customer service to find your "comparable" tickets - this IN NO WAY comes close to the "deal" you originally were offered. My final experience and the true reason I WILL NEVER USE STUB HUB EVER AGAIN was when I bought tickets (which magically I did receive) and the main act cancelled an hour before the show was to start BUT because the lesser artist who opened for the artist played their part, I was not allowed a refund. This was something offered to all Ticketmaster customers, but because I bought mine through Stub Hub, I was not even given the chance. Keep in mind, the original ticket seller would have received their refund and would not have lost any money either. This is a company that is totally greedy and not willing at all to honor what they advertise. I wish you well if you choose to waste your time. My recommendation- some of my best deals I have come across are when Ticketmaster customers who can't attend sell their tickets on the Ticketmaster website directly at a lower cost.

Don't do business with stubhub! I posted tickets for sale and the first set got hung up in their server. It was really slow. I guess, like me, a lot of other people were dumping their season tickets to the NFL on "protest day". After reviewing my order, I noticed one game did not post, so I reinput the data. Tickets double posted. Stubhub's third party vendor immediately bought them because I posted the tickets at their recommended price, which was really just their target price for purchasing the tickets and reselling through their third party vendor. I immediately contacted stubhub and they pretty much told me "sucks to be you" we will call you Monday. They didn't call. I called them on Wednesday and they told me to send the first order and they would "take care" of the duplicate, but it would take a while. I sent out the original listing as was my responsibility, but they canceled the sale AFTER I shipped them and then charged me 40%. They will probably also try to charge me for the duplicate listing. I strongly advise anyone selling tickets to stay away! If your tickets get delayed in posting and get duplicated, even seconds later, they might buy them instantly. The bad thing is I didnt get any kind of notification while I was actually on their website that tickets sold.

STUB HUB IS BULL $#*!! IT SCREWS BUYERS AND SELLERS OUT OF TICKETS!

WHEN I LOCKED IN AT $125 A TICKET TONIGHT FOR STONES IN VEGAS
IT THEN SAYS THE PRICE HAS BEEN LOWERED DO YOU AGREE? OF COARSE I AGREE! I ALREADY AGREED TO $125 PER,. AT THIS POINT IN TIME THE PRICE KEEPS GOING DOWN AND SYSTEM KEEPS ASKING ME IF I AGREE,, THE TICKETS WENT DOWN
TO $60 THEN JUMPED BACK UP TO $100 AND I STILL COULD NOT GET THE SYSTEM TO LOCK IN, JUST KEPT ASKING QUESTIONS IF I AGREE. THE SYSTEM SHOULD ONLY ASK IF I AGREE IF THE PRICE GOES HIGHER THAN WHAT I DESIRED TO PAY.

THE SYSTEM SHOULD LOCK IN AT WHAT THE CONSUMER AGREED TO PAY
THE SELLER GETS THERE PRICE AND THE BUYER GETS THE TICKETS.

NASTY $#*! I. T. PROGRAMED WEB SITE.

I sold tickets on 4 January 2020 to an Elton John concert, dinner & show, for 31 January 2020.
The buyer had paid for the tickets before I was asked to dispatch them.
I dispatched the tickets to the buyer promptly the next day.
The concert was held as scheduled and the buyer did attend. I know this as I had tickets for myself also and checked that the buyer was there.
The concert finished about 30mins early due to rain, after about 100 minutes.
The promoters, without any obligation or requirement to do so, have offered free admission to other concerts to all ticket holders.
StubHub's payment policy is that they will pay me within 15 days, on the 2nd or 4th Mondays after the event.
On that basis, my payment was due on Monday 10 February.
It is now 17 February, I have not received payment, instead I'm getting emails saying they are looking into it and that their specialized agents will contact me, but no one from the specialized department has yet contacted me.
I will never use StubHub again for buying or selling tickets.

I have never been as fed up with a company as I have with this company and I do NOT recommend them to anyone. I tried selling and listing my tickets so many times and their staff kept deactivating the tickets without saying why. When I called, they kept telling me to relist them which I did. I called again and again and was finally told to send the tickets in, which I did, at a cost. I was then called while I was out of the country and told that the tickets would be relisted. They were not and therefore, did not sell. These tickets were for the NFL games which were sold out and therefore, if the tickets had been listed as requested, would have sold. So now I am out my tickets AND the money i would have made had they sold plus overnight postage costs. I kept back the last two sets of tickets and have sold them privately which i could have done with the first two sets had they stopped farting around with my tickets. I am disgusted with the practices in place and will not recommend the service to anyone.

NEVER EVER AGIAN
September 5, 2023

I will never be using stub hub again. I listed Morgan Wallen tickets for sale and checked my account religiously to see if they had sold. I finally got a notification that my listing expired. A few weeks later, I listed my tickets for sale again. A month later, I got a notification that my tickets had FINALLY sold - just in time for the concert! I logged into my account, which I had been checking daily, and found that my tickets had originally sold a month and a half on my first listing - the one that I was told EXPIRED. I called and spoke with 3 different representatives and was told that it was now up to me to cover the difference in the charges, $1,200! I explained to them that I was under the impression that my tickets expired and that's why they were listed again. I also told them that I did NOT get a notification that my tickets had sold and that I was checking my account on the regular. They could see my log-ins! They told me that a notification email for ticket sales was a courtesy and that they didn't HAVE to send it. I am beyond upset that I A) did not even make enough money to cover my tickets and B) I had to cover $1,200 for their mistake. They had absolutely no sympathy. The way they make you jump through hoops to sell tickets leaves so much room for error which in turn ends up in their favor. I will NEVER sell or buy tickets from Stub Hub ever again.

You may or may not get the tickets that you paid for, but the only thing for certain is that you will never see your money again. When we ordered tickets for a concert, Stubhub sent us a non functional link to a Ticketmaster website where we were supposed to be able to download tickets. The site was down and after trying all night to download the tickets for the concert scheduled for the next day, we were unable to download any tickets. We called Stubhub several times and they admitted that the site was down (did they know that at the time that they took our money?) regardless, they never delivered the tickets that we paid for... AND THEY REFUSED TO REFUND THE MONEY! They insisted that all sales are final and that there were no refunds, even when they were at fault. This is not a situation where the tickets were paid for, delivered and then the buyer changed their mind, this was a situation where Stubhub never even delivered what was paid for and kept our money anyway! Advertising goods or services, taking payment and then never delivering the promised goods or services is fraud.

An in store credit is not the same as a refund. With all the restrictions and expirations and the unlikelihood that we would ever find a way to use it, it is virtually worthless and certainly not the same as a refund.

The case is currently in dispute with the credit card company we used to pay for the tickets. Regardless of the outcome, it serves as a warning to you if you are considering using Stubhub. Buyer beware. They are a slimy operation and not to be trusted.
