Ordered online Tickets to concert Stubhub charged my debit card then did not deliver tickets., caused me to miss the show my wife waited all year to see!, called to get answers for there actions and have not received a call back. DO NOT ORDER EVENT TICKETS FROM THESE PEOPLE!

Horrible

My friends and I bought tickets for a concert. The day of we still hadn't received them. My friend was on the phone with them at 11am but stubhub kept saying to give them time and to call back. We had gotten to the venue with no tickets and even at 6pm they were telling us to give them an hour and to call back when the concert started at 730pm. We ended up buying tickets from Ticketmaster because they couldn't provide us with the tickets we had purchased months earlier. Stubhub said they would refund us the money plus 20% more for the problems. It's been three weeks since the concert and now all they are willing to give us is a coupon, yeah like I'm dying to use stubhub again. I'll never use them again and never let anyone I know ever use them again.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Booked a whole vacation from Canada, over 3000 miles, to see a concert in June and have proof of the booking. Never got the tickets. Called to find out why. The concert was rescheduled for 4 months later and Stub Hub kindly rebooked me in seats that I didn't choose for a date 4 months later that I couldn't attend. It took us calling in to find out the concert had been rescheduled. Absolutely no contact from Stub Hub to tell us of this change, and then when we contacted Stub Hub they told me it was my problem!? They hold no accountability for the tickets sales and now I have to resell tickets that I never purchased! Oh, and we still don't have the tickets so I'm not sure how we are supposed to sell them. So basically they are making 15% off the guy who sold us the tickets and another 15% off of us WHEN AND IF we sell these tickets. Total SCAM. Never use these idiots!

Bought Andre Bocelli concert tickets for Febuary in NY City. Bocelli
Cancels concert due to laryngitis. I spent over $5000 in hotel, airline tickets, ground transportation and meals. Stubhub would not refund money. They said if he reschedules that I would have to use the tickets. But if it cancels they will refund my money. Bocelli reschedules
For April 20th. Metropolitan Opera House says that due to the Corona virus pandemic they have closed the opera house for the rest of the season. I contacted Stubhub one more time and they still refuse to refund my money

Awful experience
October 12, 2017

Ordered tickets, they charged my card then THEY cancelled them AND LOCKED MY ACCOUNT. When I called customer service the guy said it was an authorization not a charge. I had to tell him it was a checking account and could see 400+ out of my account. He then said 3-5 business days to get it back. Well, when the time frame was up, still no money. I called again and the other customer service rep said the other guy never even put a request in for a refund! Absolutely the worst online purchase experience Ive ever had and I order online ALL THE TIME. I ordered my tickets on ticket master and you all should do the same.
Also, when I went to post this in the App Store it would not let me. So Im going to post it EVERYWHERE else so no one else has to deal with this.

Huge scam
August 19, 2023

How are you guys still In business. You never gave me my tickets and kept saying "a few more days" I paid ONE THOUSAND dollars to go to this concert and never got my tickets. I reached out to you for DAYS including today, you said "wait a couple days" when the event is in 4 days. You scam thousands of people and it is so messed up. I also find it weird that I talked to the same person twice? You guys need to go out of business NOW. You said that I don't understand, what do I not understand? I've been to concerts 4 years in A ROW. I should get the tickets right away not "a couple days" "wait a couple days!" I was trying to take my daughter to this concert and she was extremely excited to go. NEVER BUY TICKETS FROM THEM, SAVE YOUR MONEY!

Tickets never showed

I purchased tickets to the breeders cup and they never showed. Unfortunately the event is sold out and StubHub had no way to help. Be careful because tickets are not guaranteed like you would think!

We are on Christmas Travel and purchased tickets for a hockey while we were in town. Game was postponed due to COVID with the Team (not us). We tried to get our money refunded since we will no longer be on town when the game is rescheduled and StubHub said they can't give me a refund since they are a 3rd party. Soooooo, StubHub is basically a rip off... I will never use them again and I would recommend never using them since it's basically a rip off

I bought 3 tickets to the Cotton Bowl as soon as the game was announced. One week later I got a Stubhub email saying they can't provide the tickets and I had to purchase new ones. Of course, tickets in that section and within 5 rows of the first tickets I purchase were way more expensive and I had to pay $120 more per ticket! After speaking with Customer Service (on hold for 2 hours), they told me they collected a huge fee from the Seller for cancelling the first tickets which of course I did not see and said I can repurchase new tickets, when I said pricing was way higher now then it was a week ago they said it's not their problem, basically they told me to f-off. I was at least trying to get to a credit for the ridiculous and even higher service fee they charged me the second time around ($360 more for substantially the same tickets), they said no way despite it being no fault of mine and collecting a huge cancellation fee. I will NEVER use Stubhub again. I would suggest doing business elsewhere because if anything happens with your tickets they will NOT help you or compensate you for the major inconvenience and instead keep every dollar for themselves. Oh, I STILL HAVE NOT BEEN REFUNDED FOR THE FIRST TICKETS PURCHASED.

Tickets US Open Final Championship September 9th, 2018

Planned ahead to attend with friends. StubHub kept sending emails confirmations tickets were ready, shipped, and available.

The day of the game arrives and it looks I don't have the tickets available on mobile, and all of a sudden tickets disappeared. Called StubHub 2 times, Chatted with StubHub 4 times and they finally say my tickets got Cancelled and you can only REFUND ME for them...

Now... You explain to me how am I supposed to feel, NOT ATTENDING the Game I've planned ahead to go for... Watching it now on TV... And you call yourself a " Service Provider"?

I rather let everyone know that StubHub is a BIG SCAM and CAN NOT DELIVER WHAT THEY PROMISED.

I don't want a refund I want to attend the Game.

Stub Hub (along with Get Me In and Viagogo) are NOT the people setting the price of the tickets - the prices are set by the PEOPLE SELLING THE TICKETS! Stub Hub then takes a commission payment from the seller. So... listen carefully one more time... these sites are RESALE SITES. They allow people to RESELL their tickets at inflated prices, and they then take a percentage payment from the SELLER as commission. Please stop blaming these sites for the prices you're paying - they are very transparent about the service they provide, even (in the case of Viagogo anyway) letting you know the face value of the tickets. Actual example text from Viagogo site... "Prices are set by sellers and may be lower or higher than face value. Prices exclude booking and delivery fees (applicable by transaction). Original face value price per ticket (excluding fees): 35.00 - 85.00 GBP"

DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE! I used it to sell tickets for a concert and 1) I never received any notification that the ticket was sold; 2) on the day of the concert I got an e-mail saying that there was a problem with the ticket and they wrongly charged me $150 using my credit card. I tried to speak with their representatives, but simply heard that there was nothing they could do. Horrible experience.

Thanks to Stubhub, I missed a show I really wanted to see. Why? In the course of 2 weeks, I got 3 different emails saying that the tickets I bought are not available, but they GUARANTEE that they will find replacements. 4 days until the SOLD OUT show, I was advised that they do not have my tickets, and they are going to have to refund my money... in a week. In spite of the fact that their tickets cost TWICE as much as the original face value, I bought the tickets because they were GUARANTEED. Don't waste your money on these guys. I never will again.

We paid $70 more for our tickets - the true price only revealed after purchase. There is no info up front to let the customer know they may be paying jacked up prices for tickets.

I am still trying to get my$11,000 back. Any legit company would have reimbursed the customer but StubHub fights you with lawyers and the fine print behind the IAgree button. BEWARE THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU IF THERE IS A MISTAKE IN YOUR ORDER.

We bought tickets for the One Direction concert which had sold out more than a year in advance. Yes, the tickets were more expensive than Ticketmaster, but like I said, they were sold out. The prices on StubHub are set by the seller, (StubHub just being the vehicle for the sale) so the price could be anything the seller thinks he could get for them. I was nervous about buying them as our local paper had reported about a number of fake One Direction ticket scams and I had never bought re-sale tickets before. Anyway, we went for it as the tickets have a money back guarantee to be legit and the company is owned by eBay. They arrived a few days before expected, via UPS. Everything worked out fine, the tickets were indeed legit and our teenage daughter was thrilled to see One Direction. My only complaint about StubHub is that their additional service charges seem to be high. However, I felt this was a better option than Craigslist or other private re-sales, as there is no guarantee if it turns out to be a scam. All-in-all it was a positive experience buying from StubHub.

If I could give a 0 stars I would. We called to purchase two tickets for an event in San Francisco. We were told that they do not allow debit or credit card numbers over the phone but instead we have to purchase ebay gift cards for the amount of the ticket. So once we did that we contacted the specific seller back he took the $400.00 and gave us a ticket number. Then he said we had to go purchase another $400.00 of ebay cards to activate the tickets but that it would be refunded to us with-in 5-7 minutes. This sounded to much like a scam so we requested our money back. The seller told us it would take 75 to 80 business days to refund our original purchase amount yet it would only take 5-7 minutes to refund the second amount. We asked to talk to a supervisor and after a few minutes the same individual came back on claiming to be a supervisor. Now the story was that tickets are not refundable. We never received any tickets. The "supervisor" then hung up on us. They also blocked our phone number so we cannot call them back to start a dispute. No money and no tickets. Stay away from these scammers.
