I got behind because of an unexpected bill. Ever since I have been OVERPAYING my past due amount and all I've received is harassing phone calls, condescending customer reps, and after I have told three different people I get paid the 22nd and plan on OVERPAYING my past due amount like I always do, they tell me I can turn in my equipment to the nearest spectrum store if I don't want it. I requested to speak with the manager after being hung up on/no one willing to work with me despite my OVERPAYING every single time. I was told I'll get a call in 72hours. I just paid $150 when my past due amount was $114. I've told several people I plan on paying as soon as I get paid. No one cares. They are just another greedy corporation

Recently canceled your service, was told my amount due as a final payment was $9.99 which I paid it and now being told is not that but $147.81 in which you can not provide a bill/proof what the $9.99 is for then as was originally told.
Talked to a few people on the phone already and no one can show what this is for.
I was recently even told on my last phone call by a manager that it was a late fee. That is NOT even possible when the recent statement I just got is not even due yet. This proves once again that you lie and have no clue.
I was also told by this same person to pay the $380.81 for another bill I received charging me for unreturned equipment which I returned in person and have receipts for. Another proof that you have no clue and can not care less.
According to what I was told by an online chat person via your website support, on January 20, was my amount due is $9.99 and what it said when I log on to my account was clearly
"Your account is no longer active. Please make your final payment below".
$9.99
I have in writing this information snd when I accessed the account on January 22 it shows amount due $0.00, do as far as everything I have been provided I am paid in full, with a zero balance.
If you send me to a collection agency I will dispute this as incorrect and use all the proof I have.
I will not recommend your service to anyone and will tell everyone to stay away and the horrible experience I had dealing with you.
They are better off dealing with another company.
For a few weeks I was receiving calls from spectrum my Internet provider to try a free trial of their new streaming TV feature. The trial was for 7 days and I was supposed to pick 10 channels that I wanted to be stream able from my devices to my TV. I do not have a smart TV I did not feel the need to upgrade since I purchased Chromecast devices for 25.00 each for all 3 of my tvs and I can watch anything from my phone to my TV through the Chromecast. However, spectrum said it was only 24.00 if I liked it and wanted to keep the 10 live streaming channels and 5 - 10 bucks for any additional channel which is still cheaper than Hulu's live TV and YouTube's live TV. So I tried it for the seven days and was unable to utilize the service because it was not compatible to Chromecast as advertised. So I called technical support and found out that they are still working out the issues to make the app work for Chromecast. So I was given and extra 30 days of my free trial to see if they would have this fixed by then. Unfortunately even after I waited the 30 days I was still unable to use the app with my Chromecast. I can't stand false advertising.

I am told they cannot ship me the cable wire they would need to send a man out and that will cost me $100 to do so
I explained to them that I do not have $100 to cover I have over $100,000 in medical bills
They will not help me out and this is discrimination against disabled people
The company is horrible stay away from them and they are a rip off with their prices.

When I order there services they told me I was gonna Pay for one receiver, I have explained them that I have my own modem and router, they told me I wasnt gonna get charge for the internet wi fi, here was the surprised when I received the first bill i was being charge for the second box and for the wi fi I called them right away and they told me I was gonna get credit for which I never did, I ended it up cancel there service now they are charging me 250 dollares for there service which I only had it for 20 days. They gave me a crappy explanation saying the order was pending, the internet service when from 29 dollars to 57 due that I cancel their bundle. If I were you I will recommend to think twice before ordering their service.
Had a baby in Sept, had to move internet box from one side of house to other come the end of Oct. Already had a line installed. I called and asked if I needed a tech to complete the move, and was told that I should have a tech look at it - but if they had to do anything it would be a $50 fee. I moved the box before the tech arrived. The tech came out, walked in, saw my box and asked me where I was moving it to. I told him it was moved. He asked me why he came out, because it was working. I said the company said I ought to have it looked at. He said it was working fine, and I wouldn't be charged a fee, said good luck with the baby and left. I have automatic billing, and just happened to find out the company was taking money twice a month from me (two different bank accounts). I went back through the bills for the first time since the baby and found out the company charged me a fee for the tech coming out, and they won't do anything because its not noted on the account. Thanks Spectrum, the internet keeps getting worse and now you are charging me for things you didn't even do, despite what your staff told me.
I have been with Brighthouse and now Spectrum for many years for Internet access. We recently added the online streaming service with our Roku TV. The service would black out many times. I called to seek assistance and was told multiple times to reinstall the app and update the app. After 3-4 calls, one of the tech support people admitted that the Spectrum app was having problems and they did not know how to fix it.
I then had to fight with customer service to get them to take responsibility to compensate me for the interrupted service and to provide an option that worked at the same cost. After three attempts, I was able to reach a supervisor who handled the problem by providing a box and a $10/month credit.
The very next month, while I'm waiting to see if the credits come through, Spectrum hits me with a late fee. When I called to ask them to wave the fee in light of all of the changes over the last months, the customer service rep lectured me about responsibility in paying bills on time. After the lecture, she told me could wave the fee, and she did, but let me know she could not wave any other fees.
I asked to speak to a manager. The representative told me they had no managers and she was the only person available. I let her know I had been transferred to someone else in the past, and I wanted to be transferred again. Then she said they had supervisors.
Went to the local store to in my internet boxes and 2 TV boxes all the customer service people were very helpful and polite. Would have to call customer service to setup Choice 15. Called when I got home the lady also very polite and helpful transfered Iwas
As we was talking she realized that I needed tec to remove internet transfer there told her I need to remove internet Start the why questions then started to I can offer this be cheaper I told her not to today when over it again said no then she ask about cell phone said she could get it cheaper Told that I had other people so no on the phones she keep on talking repeat everything I told her again no no no I was not interested She said to me was I going to be stubborn and I called her a stupid b and hung up I'm proud of what I said but to just keep on and on
When I said no The Internet better be remove quickly.

They are very misleading on their information and will charge you even after saying it is free for a year!

Ever the worst company they have a lot of hidden fee, all the phones they sell as new are used ones. I bought Samsung s22 from them at a monthly payment of 96 dollars including 12 dollars insurance. Then the phone has a problem with in three months. I called the spectrum. They troubleshoot shoot the phone and they said replace it. When they send me a replacement phone the phone was defective. When you put on charge it got hot and when take out of charge the phone turned of. I call customer support and they told me to return it back. When I returned it back they charge me 1077. They said that you should return back the original one. The new one is more worse than original one and I already informed them they didn't tell me to return the original one. At this time they wont to take 1077 dollars and monthly payment of 71. Otherwise they would send to collective agencies and they can mess my credit score. This spectrum company is selling used phones to customer and making our life hard. Every one should aware from this company
My TV service is real bad. First the signal would go out and the receiver kept resetting. Several times a day. Even at night as when I turned it on it would be on channel 2. Then the guide would go out. Biggest issue I have is the inside techs and outside techs dont communicate. Many calls to inside who would say we need to get a tech out to the house as it seems its a wiring problem or equipment. Outside techs say its a software problem. Inside techs kept insisting its not software its hardware. 4th tech to the house said I have to replace your equipment to prove its not the equipment. He was right. Still many issues with the quide. Called inside tech again today. Told them Im just telling you nothing has changed. He said oh I can help you. I insisted again. To give me a manager. Finally he came back and said the engineers are aware of and are working on it. After all this time Im not sure they have enough engineers or at least one that knows how to fix these issues. The best statement was, we have the fix but new customers will get it first. Exsisting customers will have to wait. Ive asked three times to have a manager call me. Still waiting so I figured I would write a review as I dont think anyone wants to talk to me. So very sad.

Employees are not well trained to give you correct information. They do not follow throu with what they promise or agree to do. They waste your time for over an hour and nothing get done or changed. They transfer you around and every time you need to talk to a new unhelpful customer service Rep. They give you the run around so you can not cancel the service so they can continue charging you the high amount. They increase they price on you every few months. I am changing company as soon as I can talk to someone who can get the job done. Do not choose this cable or internet company. They raise price on you any chance they get. You can never get a hold of a manager. I can't say enough about their bad customer service. They have no loyalty to their customers. For the month of Feb the internet was down 70 % of the time. I could hardly get any work done.
I am cancelling my TV plan and streaming. I am paying $200 a month and they just canceled channel 8! You think they will give me a refund? What a rip off.
I really wish I had another ISP, but I have spectrum. If you plan on getting Spectrum you should get used to double speak, lies, misdirection, playing the blame game, and not having internet.

Really great connections and speeds. However after you start with the Introductory Price expect a 5 dollar increase every few months until maxed out on their plan. If you have one of their routers, after they max you out with their service plan, you will get a gradual increase for the router service as well. They will argue that you have the lowest service offered when you try to negotiate a lower plan in slwhich they have to refer you to service agent to see if you qualify for service lowered for Section 8 or Disabled people. Then offer to cut off your service when expressing you discern for the rate increases without notice. You will be so bombarded with Spam Ads to add extra services or plans, that if they are mailing updates you don't know since it's always an Advertisement that you receive in the mail. It doesn't show in their App that there are going to be rate increases, it just appears on the bill. They also don't Volunteer Information and leave their customers in the dark cause we aren't asking. Some very poor customer services in most cases and half the time you do talk to someone that understands. Even if you get your own WiFi Box they make it difficult to even cancel the service plan for their WiFi Router even to keep charging customers after they turned in the Equipment. Their place is Price Gouging Customers and don't think that the customers communicate about the way this company gains it's extra money against customer knowledge and consent, or even consulting with their customers.
Crap attitudes and I hope they all know that their jobs will be obsolete and non existent within 3 years, and I am being generous with that time range. ADIOS
Long wait line. Short on staff i guess cuz I was #42 in line at 4:30pm. Not sure when they close. The whole store was packed and only one guy was working on a Friday.
Nothing about their cable is good. Dvr is horrible. I will start watching something and if I have to stop it, when I go back to it it makes you watch from beginning again, doesn't start where you left off. If you forward or rewind it takes forever to get it to stop. So after forwarding you have to rewind because it doesn't stop when you press button where you want to stop. Recording sports sucks because like I said before if you stop it you have to watch from beginning, can't forward in 15 minute intervals or skip ahead. So when forwarding, if I haveto forward back to where I was in game it just freezes and won't play so have to go back to beginning again and try to forward and hope won't freeze again and start over AGAIN!. Recording a series sucks. I recorded seal team series and now show is not on CBS anymore and won't let you delete series and taking up space so I can't record another show because not enough space. Some shows it won't let you record series so have to remember to record every week. If you watch a show recorded, when you forward through commercials towards end of show and stop for last part of show it goes right to delete or keep show and you miss last part of show. So have to start show again and when get to last set of commercials, you have to watch them so won't go to delete screen so you can see last part of show. I could go on and on with more problems. Bottom line they SUCK and by far worst cable or satellite company I have had. I had directv before but when moved only cable or satellite I can get is spectrum. Can't wait to move so I can trash this trash company.
