Order sunglasses from them, paid with Visa and they contacted me stating my visa was flagged as a risk, they would 'refund' me and to make payment with Paypal (red flag #1). This sounded strange right there so I contacted Visa who said everything was fine on their end, the $400 payment went through no problem.
I started looking into this supposedly Canadian store more. They are in Hong Kong (red flag #2).
I contacted the manufacturer of the sunglasses I order who had never heard of this store, so it wasn't an authorized store (red flag #3). They provided me with details how to spot fakes, or at least what to look for on this exact model for what is authentic.
Google searches and reading here, reddit, other review sites, this store is 100% selling fakes. Any customer who claims otherwise has been fooled into thinking they got a real pair.

Stay away. Spend the extra 10% and buy from an authorized store. These guys are slime bags.

Smart buy claims to have all these glasses in stock. I have tried several times to make orders from them but my experience has always been a failure. They have claimed to process my order and take my money only to be told in the end that the products are not available. I see there are many horror stories about "suspicious transactions" that go through right away on your credit card and then they say they want your driver's licence to prove you exist. Once you've sent the copy of your driver's licence they then tell you your frames have been back ordered, even though there's nothing on the web site to indicate they are in short supply. Still waiting for my glasses. The frames are still featured as available on the web site.

I ordered glasses and got the wrong pair sent to me a week later than promised. Had to send multiple duplicate emails with * in customer service who identified both as a manager and customer service agent in different emails. They required I ship at my cost and told me in order to get he shipping money back I would have to have a paypal account. This company is garbage. My glasses shipped from Hong Kong for some reason. Still don't have my shipping money back. Never worked so hard to fix an issue I had no part in making.

Delivery was received from Hong Kong and the sunglasses were not authentic, but a very clever copy. I imagine that there a many customers that don't realize they've been sold cheap knock-off products for the price of the genuine article.

Following delivery I received an email asking for a review of the product. Hmmm.

After reading many online posts re this company I'm doubtful that I'll see my money back or the genuine article, only run-arounds.

I should have been suspicious when they asked for identity verification at the time of purchase.

Received Persol sunglasses with chip in one of the lens and inconsistencies in the quality overall. Would have never pass Persol quality control. Also the etching of "Persol P" on one of the lens was incomplete. Finally the end of each arm at the hinges are roughly finished. Three defects out of the box deserves a one star rating. I've contacted several times to return and received no response providing return address and shipping form. I'm now opening a case with my credit card company so I can get my money back. Stay away from these scammers!

Initially I was excited to order because I found the shades I wanted for a pretty good price. I was notified a couple days later after purchasing that I have to send an i. D picture for verification, which I thought was strange because I paid debit card. After verification I was notified days later that the shipment will be at least another month for shipping. Very dissatisfied I wouldn't recommend ordering from this site. And I'm still waiting for my frames to arrive.

I bought 2 Brand name women's frames only and they were too small so I emailed them (they have no customer service phone number supposedly) several times and they finally gave me the address to ship them back to. I paid for shipping and ship the 2 frames back to them but never received a refund of $250 on my credit card. This company is a SCAM and should be shut down immediately by the police and the owners thrown in jail for the crooks they are!

I have ordered from this site twice. The first time was a test with a pair of their quick-ship glasses for my son. They arrived by courier within a few days and were exactly what I ordered. The second time I ordered a pair for myself, a pair of sunglasses that were over $50 less than retail (Maui Jim). I followed up once and received a prompt reply. The glasses arrived, authentic, in the same packaging and with the same patented lenses I tried on in a store. Takes a bit longer to get them, but the savings were well worth the wait.

I ordered a pair of aviator sunglasses on December 18,2012. They were shipped from Hong Kong same day and FedEx delivered them to my door on December 20,2012. The glasses arrived in time (they were a Christmas gift for my daughter) and in perfect condition. I will definitely buy from SmartBuyGlasses again. I am already considering buying prescription glasses for my daughter.

I ordered a pair of prescription lenses and their website said the transaction did not go through. I tried again with a different card and got the same response. Customer service told me to try the next day due to a website problem. I tried the next day and the transaction went through. Hours later I received 3 emails telling me I had made 3 separate orders and my cards were in fact charged. Upon contacting customer service to cancel all transactions, they assured me they would cancel the transactions except for one. None of the transactions have been cancelled and now I have to go through the credit card fraud department.

Please stay away from the company. They are total fraud. Orders are never shipped and they give stupid excuses all the time. They should be banned from internet.

Site has the largest selection of designer frames that I have come across. After spending months trying to find the perfect frames in every store in Vancouver. I came across the SmartBuy website and found the Manufacturer I was looking for with a good selection and a great price (less than another website and half the price of a well know retailer) They were delivered on time and they were exactly as ordered. Mistakenly charged some delivery fee was reimbursed after contacting the customer service. Will definitely buy here again.
