I never write reviews but I just have to put my support out there for this company. I bought a $30 pair of glasses and they were exactly what I pictured them to be. I had a minor problem with the lenses but they exchanged them and paid my shipping, no fuss! Jennifer in customer service was an absolute dream to work with! You never come across that kind of customer service anymore!

This company is great! What would have cost me over 300$CAN for Ralph Laurent frames and prescription lenses only cost me 130$CAN (shipping included)! And they're AUTHENTIC. Customer service was also great. They sent me an email to inform me of every step along the process (ex: confirming their provider had them in stock, then that they were sent to the lab for the prescription, and when it was shipped). It took about 2-3 weeks to receive them (because of the process of getting the prescription). The shipping itself only took 2 days. And yes. It was shipped from Hong Kong. What doesn't come from China these days anyway? They're authentic, good price and come with a cleaning kit! NO complaints!
I don't have anything to complain about this web store. Everything ran okay. The delivery was faster than I was expecting (2 days after I have paid), the sunglasses seems authentic. So, the only reason of 4 stars it is the price, I know cheaper places.
I would buy more stuff there.
I'd say it's the best price u can find for a canadian buyer and the customer service is great (replys within a day with precise updates on ur order). What they can do better is on the shipping time since they dont have everything on stock except "FAst ship" items so it took me 1 month to recieve my glasses. But overall. From the time they got my item to when it arrived... WOW! Worth buying from them with confidence!
I bought some Tom Ford TF5668-B. The frame was $250. The authentic frame is $495 they are heavy and came with the authentication card and case all look authentic. They aren't lightweight like most fakes. I didn't know they were fakes when I ordered them as the website guarantees they are real. I found the real frame after they got here at Neiman Marcus.
My glasses order was processed and received very quickly. Glasses were at least $100 less expensive than any competitor's website. Many online competitors did not stock the brand or model at all because it was in season. I saved $300 from what I would have paid at my optician. My only comment is that when emailing back and forth with customer service, I communicated with several individuals who had, at best, a beginner to intermediate command of the English language.
1- This company is run out of Hong Kong and the Philippines, with sub-standard customer service/support
2- Their claim of 100% satisfaction guarantee refers only to them getting paid, but not for customer service/support or warranty.
3- good luck trying to get your money back on defective glasses or bad prescription... they will make returning the glasses difficult and expensive to ship the glasses back to them
4- polarizer films not installed properly on the lens with a lot of stress marks along the edges. This can be seen by the human eye, but is emphasized in front of the lcd monitor. These people do not stand by their product and say that this is normal.
Avoid, Avoid, Avoid
I purchased a pair of Prada sunglasses that upon first inspection I knew they were fake. No serial number etched into the inner lens, and other indicators that these were not authentic. I own several pairs of Prada sunglasses and these are not real Prada. Very disappointed and seeking a return and refund. Thank God I used PayPal because I will fight through them if I get the run around.
***Update. I returned the glasses to smart buy after contacting customer service and following their instructions for returns. The refund has been processed and I am relieved and happy it was done quick and without hassle.

I bought a Tom Ford glasses. It was shipped from Hong Kong. SmartBuyGlasses own many domains in many countries.
I compared it with my previous Tom Ford same model, similar, but I know it is a fake due to lower quality. Even the warranty card was not properly cut and the words were slanted. There is no way Tom Ford did such a lousy job. I complained to them, they insisted it's genuine despite crooked card and obvious lower quality frame. They asked me to ship back with my own money to China with tedious ways to ship back. I never bother. I read many reviews, they never get back anything after that shipped back or they were wasting their time in frustration because of very slow responses.
I am a person with bad economy and had saved to buy a pair of Ray-Bans for 3 months.
I though SmartBuyGlasses looked good and made an order that came from Hong-Kong.
The quality is so bad and when I took the glasses to a local store they said it will hurt my eyesight if i wear them with the bad lenses.
I payed for a expensive return and they stopped answering and its been 1 month and I have 0 answers and 0 money back.
May this be as a warning for you... These people are the lowest of the low.

I ordered an eye frame 3 months ago and still waiting for it. The customer service rep is useless. Unable to assist. Can't give an ETA. Got a stock confirmation notice finally 3 weeks ago. When checked again today. I was told that it is still out of stock and ETA is unavailable. Very poor service. Will not recommend anyone to do any business with them.

Ordered bifocal glasses. Great price. Prescription OK but bifocal transition in the wrong place and no place on the order form to indicate where to place it. Glasses sitting too high according to their specs and cannot be lowered.
Request for warranty on broken arm piece leads to nowhere but rhetoric.
Glasses arrived late and with loose arm piece which eventually broke.
Best local prices! Use Costco in Canada or Wal-Mart in US. Both have good service and prices.
I ordered bifocal sunglasses. These bifocal lens doesn't work properly. I'can't see correctly with. Smartbuyglasses categorically refused to refund me. Lately I've replaced the defective lens by the good ones. The optician told me there were a lot of distorsion in these very low quality lenses. The inner surface of lenses were polished as a mirror. It was unbearable under the sun
It is horrible experience. Time Wasted and Energy Wasted.
When they reply to you by email, all you can get is "I am really sorry for the late response. We are currently receiving a large volume of emails and we apologized for not being able to get back to you right away".

Well I bought a pair of glasses from them thinking I was getting a good deal. They took forever for delivery and they broke 2 days after I got them. I was wearing them and I pushed them up on my nose and the lens on the right side just snapped in half. After about 20 emails and a few frustrating phone calls they offered to send me a replacement blank lens... not even shaped to my frame or my prescription. Just a disk of plastic. I gave up and took my glasses to a local shop and had new lenses made up. And guess what. They're better quality less glare clearer and come with a 3 year warranty. This company is a rip off. I will never in life ever order glasses from them again. Terrible product quality. Terrible customer service. Terrible shipping. Hilariously enough I'm leaving this review here because they sent me an email asking me to. What a ludicrous company. Do not deal with them is my best advice.
It took two weeks for me to receive my glasses! I had ordered transition lenses and they were not transition, just regular ones. I am sending them back and getting a full refund. Of course I have to send them back at my own expense! I will never order from this company again!
I ordered my contacts through them. After I had ordered I read the reviews about them and the delivery company they use. I saw the most awful reviews about both and I was started to get super nervouse. BUT! I recieved my contacts 3 days earlier then expected AND they were the perfect strength in perscription and perfect fit. I am very happy with my contacts.

I placed an order today for glasses that were showing on the website and received the email confirmation. Then I contacted them asking about the invoice and they told me that the invoice would be ready when the order gets shipped. Then during the chat the said "oh, the item you ordered is discontinued". Really, I can't believe that this is a professional way for a 100% online company to deal with customers. I don't recommend dealing with them.

Havent received my glasses or a refund for glasses that were shipped to a wrong address. Its about to be two weeks that they delivered it to the wrong address. After i screenshot three different proofs of delivery that were sent to me; nobody decided to reply. This is starting to seem like a scam website to me. Attached are the proofs of delivery that were sent to me with two different addresses for my glasses at the same date and time.
