I buy at least two pairs of shoes twice a month more than I should but after this experience I probably won't buy any more I called last Thursday about my package that I didn't receive and the young lady was so damn Rude on the phone I'm not waiting no more 24-48 hours to report a claim. All I want is my money back, y'all quick to take it but very slow on wanted to give it back.
I purchased what was suppose to be a Vegan Leather jacket called "Ride or Die Vegan Leather Jacket" It arrived quickly however this is the most cheapest looking LEATHER jacket. Honestly I don't think it's even leather. The jacket has this shine & looks plastic, it also looks like a beginner seamstress put this jacket together. Literally there's thread hanging from everywhere. What you see in the pic posted for advertisement is NOT what you get. The collar looks matted too. I paid a little over $100 for a jacket that should have been $20 the most smh I'm sending this back for a complete refund. This jacket also runs really small. Here's the funny part of shopping at Akira they monitor ALL reviews sooo any negative reviews will NOT be posted. Which makes sense now on why almost all of their items have little to NO REVIEWS.

I ordered a flower Adidas jacket and they haven't informed me that that item was out of stock and they sent me a normal white Jacket.
I have asked for an exchange and now they told the the shipping to China is too expensive for a return, so it is better to keep the item. I have paid 42GBP for that jacket and why do I have to pay so much for a ugly white jacket and keep an item that I will never wear it?
After 25 days I am still dealing with the (Horrible) customer service that for twice already told me that they gonna refund me 8GBP for that item. As they think that I paid 29 GBP. This is insane! Please don't buy here! It is all bogus!
I am so satisfied with my thigh high boots. The fit is awesome. My entire order arrived in 2 days as requested. No complaints here. I will definitely order again‼
I received my package from this company slightly slashed with 2 stamps from the Post Office stamping "received as unsealed". I paid for 4 items & only 2 were inside. I took pictures of all angles and sent the company the pictures. They have no customer service manners & put me thru an investigative process that can take up to 21 BUSINESS DAYS! After that they stated I will get store credit if applicable instead of refunding my money! This is the WORST company and I will never shop with them ever again so BEWARE BUYERS. Not to mention their clothes are expensive! So can u imagine how frustrated I am without that refund when clearly this is not a mistake that I made?! NEVER AGAIN!
Bad quality, even worse customer service, the sizes don't match their size chart on the website. Do yourself a favore and keep your money away from this brand!
I have been buying Akira clothes for about 4 years now. Never had a real big problem until now. I bought a pair or mom jeans size 19 because their Jeans do run small. I received them today. I have never in my life seen a pair of jeans this big. I measured them they are 46 around the waist. I call them and told the lady that they must have sized them wrong. She said I will send you a return label and tell them that you didn't realize they were going to be that big. I said no they are sized wrong she kept saying you didn't think they were going to be that big. I told her once again that they are size wrong. I usually wear a 14 in all jeans, but at akira I have to get a 17 or 19. I would like for you guys to look at this picture of these jeans and tell me that they are sized wrong! I am pissed that the lady was not listening to me and talking like I didn't no what I was talking about. I no mom jeans suppose to be a little baggy but not like this. Please get someone else to answer phones that understand what the customer is saying..
I absolutely love the clothing! I ordered a few times and everything was as it looked online sizes run a little smaller but just size up. Love this stuff
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. They are passive aggressive and rude. Shaina is the most unprofessional leader I have ever encountered. She does not respect or act with grace. They always say act the Akira way. They are not only RACIST but they will discriminate against you when you had a disability or something they cannot understand. Trust me they will do everything to break your mental and defeat you. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND LOOK otherwise. SUPER TOXIC ENVIRONMENT.
I purchased a pair of heels from them. Super cute and they said it was true to size so I got a 9. However they were big and I could bath walk in them. They did get a tad messed up on the bottom from in ability to walk in them. I went to return it sme tiny shoes and all and they said I couldn't get a refund cuz they were worn. Then told me I had to pay $15 to get them back or they would discard them! Like WTF either I pay to get them back or just don't have shoes or my refund! I would advice no one to shop with them what do ever and customer service are complete $#*! hats. If I could give zero stars I would.
I was hesitant to order from this site because of all the bad reviews, but I went out on a limb and purchased a pair of boots because I really really needed them for an outfit and couldn't find them anywhere else. I ordered my boots on December 29,2022 at 10:03am and I chose the overnight shipping method because I needed them for New Years Eve. I received an email from UPS at 12:34pm saying that my order had been shipped. My boots got delivered the next day December 30,2022 at 12:38pm by UPS.
The boots were exactly what I ordered and they went perfect with the outfit that I needed them for. I would order from them again.

I placed a large order. Ordered 4 dresses, 3 coats, and 2 pairs of shoes. I had placed a small order with them to check if this was a legit company and all my items had come the first time. I went ahead and ordered again and this time, they forgot one of the pairs of shoes! Not only that, the website ran out of the shoes and when I told them they forgot, the customer service person said that they did ship the boots in the box. How would they know when their fulfillment center is separate from the call center?! One of the customer care people I talked to this morning said she had no idea how they could forget to send a pair of boots, which I then told her after sharing photos how packed the box was! Also, the size of the box in which they shipped my other items in was not large enough to accommodate the size of those boots! I haven't heard back from them regarding my claim and I sent various pictures as well. I had to file a claim with my credit card for the missing boots. It's annoying when a company has a different fulfillment center from the call center and aren't much help.
Akira charged me DOUBLE, I called right away and asked them cancel was on hold for 1 hour and was told they could not refund or cancel because there was only a 10 minute window to do so as if being on hold for an hour was my fault. Jasmin lied to me saying the managers was all in a meeting so I couldn't talk to someone else, then Mathew got on the phone and told me there was no managers at all. They kept switching up their stories as if why I couldn't speak to the manager. I asked them to have the manager call me they denied that and I asked the manager name so I can email they wouldn't even give me a name. So now I'm out of $150 and Jasmin and Mathew seemed to not care AT ALL. I will never shop with this company again! It's hard to support when people STEAL YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!
I was really a bit confused on AKIRA until I read the other views. Correct if you write a bad review the vendor does not post the comment. Unfortunately what AKIRA does not realize reviews can help improve your products. I purchased the PLUS VERY SPOILED LONG SLEEVE JUMPSUIT after one wash the suit has faded and some of the rhinestones fell off. Not to mention I washed it in a special mesh large laundry bag only to discover it now has a hole in the front left side. I was stunned. The clothes are nice looking and stylish but the quality is another story. Purchased the PLUS AZALEA WANG SILVER FINGER STUDDED MOTO JACKET one wear studs are falling off. So for me its not always about money as quality is a big factor. I also purchased two large totes and a pants suit and now wonder if they too will fall apart. Very Disappointing!
Their website is utter Trrrash! It wont allow new customers to login after they've created a new account. After several attempts I wasnt able to even place an order! Got a message about NO SHIPPING INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME! UGH! I will taking my hard earned dollars to ZARA whose website is easy to login and place an order...also has a great return policy AND THEY HAVE STORES! BYE FELICIA. SHOPAKIRA YOU DESERVE 0 STARS. Subimit a picture for proof of purchase is so laughable! GIT!
I ordered 5 items from this company on December 30th and i was notified that the processing may take up to 5 business days and i was okay with it because I didn't need the clothes or shoes right away. After 5 long business days and a weekend has passed, I emailed the company to see the status of my order. They didn't even have the proper respect to email me and apologize about over selling their clothes. I received a notification from the bank stating the company has gave me a refund and moments later customer service sent me an emailing stating all of my items are not in stock and they have over sold their items. Then, they didn't mention if they were coming back in stock (i would've respected them more for that) and they took the item off the website totally. Also, they put a discount attached to the email that was only 10% off -_-... like *******@shopakira. My order total was 82.15 and i received a bigger discount when i ordered the clothes. I did not expect a big company like them to make such a huge unprofessional mistake. You would think their website or employees are able to keep track of inventory.
Horrible store. Item was lost in transit and they did nothing to help. Made me do all the legwork and then essentially told me I was out of luck and that they would not replace or refund the item.
Often times, people come to the internet to leave reviews on something that has deeply upset them or if their experience with whatever they are reviewing was a disappointment. Well I am here to tell you, if you are considering shopping at AKIRA, DO IT! I was so skeptical to purchase anything from them because of the reviews I saw online. However, there was a romper I absolutely fell in love with and it sold out from another seller. I stumbled across the same romper on AKIRA's website. I looked up reviews, looked up their instagram, and thought about purchasing from them for two days (I was considering all the reviews I had read). Finally I reached out to them on an instagram post about shipping issues etc., which they replied back in minutes saying they have had their shipping issues resolved. I made the decision to buy the romper. My order notification e-mail came instantly, I made the order on a Friday and my shipping e-mail came the following Tuesday. My package arrived that Thursday. Everything was perfect. No sweat, no trouble. QUALITY CLOTHES. I am amazed and will be purchasing from AKIRA in the future. Thank you, AKIRA!
Answer: They are 100% legit. I have been buying clothes and shoes from them for years and everything I've gotten is not only beautiful but it holds up to multiple wears. They are my first place to shop whenever I wanna update my wardrobe.
