I love both the brick and mortar store and the online shopping. What a great place to shop in one place for anything you can ask for in beauty products. Also the ladies are super nice in helping you pick out colors. So far they have been super. Fast shipping also.
Literally the only place I go to buy makeup. It's obviously more on the expensive side, but it's where you find all the good designer brands, plus the customer service is better than most makeup stores!
I placed an order using a gift card. One of the items I ordered never shipped. Instead of correcting the issue they increased the price of one of the items I bought on sale back to full price and called it good. Arguing with customer service is a waste of time. She refused to acknowledge the item still showing on my order on their own site and did math to prove she was right. Of course everything adds up when you remove sales from the order. Never again.
I love buying beauty products from Sephora, especially fragrances. Always authentic, great salespersons, and you can ask for and receive any 3 decanted fragrances of your choice. Free. I Like wearing a sample of a fragrance for a day or so to see how it performs on my skin before I buy it for my collection. Love their Sephora Collections of several perfumes when the are available. You get a gift certificate in the box to get a full sized bottle of the one you like best. FREE. Can't beat that!
I've been contacting Sephora customer service for months trying to request them not to use FleetOptics as this carrier is driving me crazy. Nobody listened. All they have told me is that it is my own problem and it is their right to use whatever carrier they want, even if the customer is suffering. See the screenshot of their response, the tone and the attitude - "If you're not happy with the carrier, solve it yourself and good luck."
I've always had pleasant visits in store but on multiple occasions I've had products not ship out on time or at all. Customer always wants to put the blame on the shipper but more often than not my makeup never left the warehouse. I recommend you only deal with this lot in store.
I have had nothing but problems with online ordering from Sephora. I have spent dozens of hours trying to straighten out a problem with a free gift I was entitled. I keep getting computer responses and no resolution. I love their products and have ordered twice in the last 24 hours. Since I spend a lot with them I was entitled to a free gift which they deleted from my order. Then I ordered some merchandise the same day and chose my free gift which they changed to another one I will never use. I have a spinal cord injury and am mostly housebound which is why I order online. I still like to look good and smell good. I have given up on them ever straightening out this mess. They may want you to look good, but they sure don't care about your feelings.
The products sold at Sephora are exceptional - there is no question about that - the samples, the bonuses - and the points, all of these added beneits are wonderful. However Customer Service online leaves something to be desired...
Amazing site for Cosmetics, Beauty Products, Fragrances and other makeup tools. So many different brands are available at this site. Great offers, deals and discounts. Shipping service is also nice. Products are delivered on time. Quick and fast service.
Really doubted what my friend's recommendation, later I decided to give it a try, honestly, my shopping with them was a great experience.
I will definitely shop with them again and again... Thanks Sephora for the nice customer service...
I give 0 stars. I ordered cleanser from them was told in writing 1 to 3 days delivery. Just got an email says now 6 days for delivery. So what you advertise 1 to 3 days is just downright lies and now I cant get the product on time because someone changed to 6 days to deliver. Why lie in advertisement. Why not say we are incompetent and cant deliver on time and you wont get your order as you expect it. Store is not stocked at all, came in for a cleanser and they have 2 cleanser products available to sample but none to buy. How do you sample a cleanser? Lol. Absolutely hate Sephora. Will go to Blue Mercury they are always well stocked and deliver on time
I come here all the time to shop for fragrances and cosmetics. I love their wide variety and that there are people to help test the product on you. I am never pressured to buy, which makes the buying experience very relaxing.
I wait for so long time and did't receive it. Something new through lasership? The customer services are not so good. When I ask for them about where is my item, they always tell me to wait. I wait for so long time. Frustrated and pissed off and won't be ordering online from Sephora again.
I love Sephora for all The high end products u can't buy elsewhere! Sephora will always be my first love for a beauty store... ordering online is so easy and the site is easy to navigate... Everything comes on time and is packed so nice and nothing ever comes broken!
I asked one sales person to help me find a lipstick that I had previously purchased from Sephora. She was going to check in the back to see if it was it in stock. She never returned. So I asked another. She never returned, either. Meanwhile, several people kept asking me if I was being helped. Before leaving the store without the lipstick, I told one of the sales people about my experience, Her response? She said thank you, not, "Oh we're sorry, let me get someone else to help you."
Instead of repeatedly asking customers if they need help, try actually helping them. If you want to boost sales and increase customer satisfaction, train your sales people. They flunk!
They do have a vast variety of products and their stores are very clean and organized. Also their customer service is amazing, very kind workers. I personally think it's overrated though, and their prices are ridiculous. I bought a perfume from their for $93, found it some where else for $40. I would only go their for certain products.
I ordered a bunch of hair and skincare products that ended up being sent to another address, and their "proof of delivery" was a picture of the box in another lobby lmao. I contacted Sephora and they immediately sent another package for free, express shipping. It came within a few days and I loved the products. Customer service was great. Thanks!
I visited one of the Sephora retail stores in the Middle East - Abu Dhabi. The name of the mall was Yas Mall. And the staff is extremely rude there. I also realised when you belong to any other nationality other than an Arab and you walk into the store, you are not greeted to but if there's an Arab, she will be approached by my many staff members, smiled at and served nicely. When you ask a simple question to any of their staff members, they roll their eyes and frustatingly respond like as if you're not welcomed there. All their staff members are disrespectful and racist to their customers. Maybe they should just put on a signage at the entrance of their stores that only Arab nationalities are invited and no other so you don't feel let down when you walk-in or out of the store ever.
I called on the same day I placed an order to cancel that order. The rep said he took care of it and will give me a refund when the delivery company sends it back. I called within 2 hours of placing the order. I don't believe they even processed it yet, especially when their website kept saying that they are having delivery delays due to the volume of business. Well, it wasn't cancelled - the package was delivered to me 3 days later. I 'll have to return it myself.
Part of the fun of shopping sephora.com is getting fun samples to try. How else do I try new products? Within a month, 2 of my orders had 2 out of 3 samples 'replaced' by some random product - things that I am not interested in at all. Why can't they specify the quantity they have of their samples and not offer the ones that are 'out'? It's annoying to open your package and not get the samples you were looking forward to trying.
I ordered a week ago from sephora and they cancelled my order because they were unable to confirm your payment information. I asked them about the time for refund and they told me it will takes one business day. I ordered again and I waited for 3 days and they did not refund the amount. I called the customer service and the lady answered my told my it will took 7 days i asked her to check the previous call and what they told me. Then she said she can't check that call and she closed the line in impolite way. She was rude with me, so I cancelled the second order. Company with staffs like her does not deserve the money we spend.
Answer: There are a ton of great moisturizing and anti-aging products out there to help you. Sephora has so many that your head will spin, but there are also a lot of drugstore alternatives that are rated just as highly (or better) than a lot of higher-end ones. I would do some research online before ever stepping foot into a store like Sephora (trust me - they will bombard you with very expensive things you don't need). Honestly, I really like Ulta as a store better than Sephora because they carry both drugstore, middle-end, and higher-end products. (MUCH better service, too) But before you go anywhere, Google things like "best anti-aging products for mature skin" or things like that. Using multiple products, such as a glycolic toner, a serum, as well as a moisturizer is a good idea. One thing that is FANTASTIC for wrinkles and dark spots is Retin-A, but you have to get a prescription for it and it is harsh on your skin (especially if you're sensitive). It literally kills off your top layer of skin (which leads to a very annoying period of your face peeling for a few weeks), but once you get over the growing pains, your skin is amazing. I was diagnosed with melasma, which is hyperpigmentation of the skin, on my face, so my doctor gave me Retin-A and hydroquinone, which really works at fading dark spots. If you can't afford the Retin-A (mine is over $200 a tube), there are a lot of great OTC products that contain retinol and work well, just not like the Rx version. Neutrogena has a great line of products for dark spots and wrinkles. But like I said, do your research and don't let sales reps push you into really expensive products, because they get a commission, and you may get stuck with a bad product and an empty wallet. Hope this helps!
Answer: This is Sephora's list of current promo codes. They should always be valid - whether you get them to actually give you what they're supposed to is always a gamble. To get a birthday promo, you have to join their Beauty Insiders club. It's free - just go to their website.
Answer: Yes. I have to take Care of my skin in every routine when my acne appears
Answer: Yes! They have a VERY liberal return policy. You can try most products in store, as well. But, if you do buy something that you don't agree with, for any reason, don't worry. They exchange easily. I always use Sephora.com... never have had a problem returning for any reason whatsoever.
Sephora has a rating of 2.6 stars from 555 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Sephora most frequently mention customer service, gift card and next day. Sephora ranks 706th among Cosmetics sites.
