I will never buy from Sephora online again. My order was cancelled three times for absolutely no good reason. They told me they could not verify my billing address. I sent them a screen shot of my billing address that matches the billing address on my order as confirmed by my bank. I have used the same billing address and same credit card for years and never had any issues. I am just so surprised that they are not sophisticated enough to perform a simple address verification! How are they still in business?
Since I was teenager, I'm a big fan of Sephora. It has been almost 10 years since then! So I have never had a problem with their stuff until yesterday. My in-store experience was a bit disappointing. I asked advice to one of the sales assistants and she was rude and unpolite. She seemed sick and tired of customers but come on, is her job to help you out. I hope next customers have a better experience than me. About their beauty products, there's no problem at all.
I love buying on Sephora. You get 3 free samples every purchase you make and you don't have to go through the hassle of going to sephora itself.
The delivery is really fast everything in good condition.
The employees are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the products they sell. I particularly appreciate the ability to try out products before I buy them, which has helped me find my perfect shade of foundation and lipstick.
Sephora offers the best of all the latest make up lines. The staff for the most part are very friendly and knowledgeable. They often make recommendations based on your needs. To have so many Sephoras in different locations but the same attitude among all employees says a lot about the company.
Ordered a gift card, some face masks, and some lotion as Christmas gifts. Had no issues checking out. Waited a week and got no email stating that it had shipped yet, so I finally went on the site to check out the status of my order. Turns out, there was an "auth issue" and they had either canceled my items, or showed them as Out of Stock. The order status was still showing as "Pending."
If there was a typo or auth issue, that should've been communicated instead of having me sit and wait for nothing to happen. Very disappointed.
I just realized that sephora. Com. It details is really like shopping online better than going to the retail store. Online facilities is given to this site.So time savings and reduce the cost help ful. Goods buying and selling with in online. I am impressed this product. So all peoples one time use this and getting this product benefits.
I breed rats, & the products I purchased were a 12 pack of rodent water bottles along with some different types and sizes of bowls to try. The order was quickly processed and mailed, but when it arrived, they mistakenly packaged a single water bottle instead of a single 12 pack, & I was unable to use some of the bowls I ordered (too small or big). I immediately sent Chewy an email with my concerns, & after sending the message after hours, I received a reply from them bright and early the next morning. The correct bottle order was immediately processed and shipped on the next business day.
Everything is good until you have to return a product. It takes forever and a lot of the customer service representatives are clueless. Once they can't help you they will end the chat. I think I will stick with Ulta.
I am an Ultamate Rewards member, the sales are great if you catch them and stay updated. They carry all of my favorite products I use everyday and I go to Ulta to get my brows done! I have never once had a bad experience here.
I am 66 years old and had eye surgery for my vision and for the first time in my life wanted advice on eye makeup. I don't need glasses anymore. I was told that it cost $30 for a consult. Very sad. Why are you charging for beauty advice………. You lost a customer today and I was ready to purchase product.
I received a package from Sephora and one of the items was damaged, I contacted them that day and the very next day they sent me a new package gave me 100 points and extra samples for my troubles, they went above and beyond what needed to be done just so nice and prompt!
I have sensitive skin so it's hard to find beauty products for my skin type. Thanks to sephora, I found a couple of brands that worked great for me. I want to continue shopping from them but how can I avail their discounts?
I am extremely surprised by the flow of negative reviews that this company is generating. My own experience with this company has always been good. The quality of the products I purchased is excellent, I never had to return anything. They send plenty of samples that make sense based on the type of products I buy. Their sitewide sale truly includes most of their brands, unlike some of their competitors like dermstore which advertises sitewide sale when in fact only a handful of brands participate. There was never any "scam", any expired products.
I love this store I've shopped here for years I'm a vib member... the great part about having the member card is you get a lot of rewards and free stuff. Also if you don't like the makeup for some reason or another you can bring it back no questions asked as long as you have a receipt or used your member card. Eyebrow Foundation back because it oxidized and it was half empty they didn't mind or ask any questions
Sephora no longer rewards good customers, or rouge clients, with Flash VIB shipping. Sephora has become cheap. One no longer has enough options to use the points they receive based on purchases and only receives two samples per order instead of three- and the samples are no longer as good quality. I will look for other websites to purchase my makeup and skincare items.
Today, I went into the Sephora inside brookfield mall. I went in looking for make up to help clear and cover my acne. Emily, I believe that was her name, helped me and was amazing. I could not have asked for better help. She proved she knew exactly what she was talking about and didn't make me feel the slightest bit embarrassed for my problem. I am very excited to see the change. My face already felt better after only having the make up on for a few hours.
FALSE ADVERTISING! Buyer beware! I went in this store to buy a pro brush which an associate then ordered for me online because they were sold out in store. After the order was complete, I was told that it was not half off even though there was a sign that said "50% off pro brushes". When I asked to speak to a manager, she informed me that it was on select brushes. I told here there was no asterisk or disclosure that said as such and that it was false advertising. Her response? "I know. You can wait for the package and then return it." She didn't take the sign down, nor did she try to make it right by honoring the advertised price. Shame on you Sephora Lynnfield, MA! See pictures below - prices are not as advertised!
This company is making its money from customers over charging for nothing. They received my payment 2 days later due to the mail and they charge me with $31, I called the customer services when I received the bill with it, she said they can not remove the whole amount and I will receive a new bill with the new amount, never received I decided to call their number and now they overcharge me with $63... I did not use my credit card and I have to pay $63. I called and he said the company only can remove some dollars... Be careful with this company they make their fortune stealing money from their customers!
I have been a Sephora shopper for over 15 years now. They have a great selection and you can tests shades before buying. The price is more on high end but you can find some deals. They carry Kat von d which I love https://youtu.be/hfIbUx6MfmU
Answer: There are a ton of great moisturizing and anti-aging products out there to help you. Sephora has so many that your head will spin, but there are also a lot of drugstore alternatives that are rated just as highly (or better) than a lot of higher-end ones. I would do some research online before ever stepping foot into a store like Sephora (trust me - they will bombard you with very expensive things you don't need). Honestly, I really like Ulta as a store better than Sephora because they carry both drugstore, middle-end, and higher-end products. (MUCH better service, too) But before you go anywhere, Google things like "best anti-aging products for mature skin" or things like that. Using multiple products, such as a glycolic toner, a serum, as well as a moisturizer is a good idea. One thing that is FANTASTIC for wrinkles and dark spots is Retin-A, but you have to get a prescription for it and it is harsh on your skin (especially if you're sensitive). It literally kills off your top layer of skin (which leads to a very annoying period of your face peeling for a few weeks), but once you get over the growing pains, your skin is amazing. I was diagnosed with melasma, which is hyperpigmentation of the skin, on my face, so my doctor gave me Retin-A and hydroquinone, which really works at fading dark spots. If you can't afford the Retin-A (mine is over $200 a tube), there are a lot of great OTC products that contain retinol and work well, just not like the Rx version. Neutrogena has a great line of products for dark spots and wrinkles. But like I said, do your research and don't let sales reps push you into really expensive products, because they get a commission, and you may get stuck with a bad product and an empty wallet. Hope this helps!
Answer: This is Sephora's list of current promo codes. They should always be valid - whether you get them to actually give you what they're supposed to is always a gamble. To get a birthday promo, you have to join their Beauty Insiders club. It's free - just go to their website.
Answer: Yes. I have to take Care of my skin in every routine when my acne appears
Answer: Yes! They have a VERY liberal return policy. You can try most products in store, as well. But, if you do buy something that you don't agree with, for any reason, don't worry. They exchange easily. I always use Sephora.com... never have had a problem returning for any reason whatsoever.
Sephora has a rating of 2.6 stars from 555 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Sephora most frequently mention customer service, gift card and next day. Sephora ranks 706th among Cosmetics sites.
