Total rip off

I ordered $140 worth of merchandise. Nothing fit properly. I went on line to generate the return. A QR Code was issued which I brought to a location that was on their website to return. It was a "Happy Returns" location. I have utilized this avenue many times with Amazon and other companies. Immediately after they scan the items in, a text message should come through from the company (Roamans) stating the items were being sent back. I never got the text message. Happy Returns confirmed it is generated from Roamans and maybe the system was slow. Well it's been 2 weeks and I have not gotten my credit. I called today, spoke to 3 people who confirmed that "happy returns" was not fully functional by them until last week! Therefore they pushed me to return merchandise through an avenue that they weren't fully up and running with! They are stating there is nothing they can do about it! They have 60 days to process a return when the merchandise is returned. They have no record that I sent back the merchandise... therefore chances are there will be no record when the items come back. So, they are telling me I am out $120 and it is not their fault that I went to Happy Returns! I am livid!

In October 2022 I ordered 3 prs of yoga pants - which were listed as available when I ordered them. In November I got a notice that the order was delayed but as soon as it shipped I'd receive a notice. Yesterday, December 4,2022 I received an email saying my bank would not pay them on a backorder so my order was cancelled. I called them and got a customer service worker in the Philippines(I live in NYC and can never get an American employee) who said that since my bank would not pay for a backorder (Roaman's fault) I was thrown out of line and could order it again but it would not be ready till April! And if I was stupid enough to believe this and do it what makes you think this wouldn't happen gain?) This HAS happened to me before. The bank won't pay after a certain amount of time. Roaman's lies and says it's available and the notifies you that it isn't. This is a horrible company to deal with. Their clothing is cheaply made--the women's underpants have such a thick hem on the underpants it digs in to the skin of your waist making it painful to wear. Blouse material is so thin it's see-through. The biggest problem I have with them is getting what I ordered without going through what I just did. So, i ordered the pants from Amazon and got it 3 days later!

NO HELP AT ALL

They don't respect their 3rd party customers I made an order thru Amazon for and it item and it was not delivered and maybe lost and they refuse to refund my money because they don't have the package well been calling and they are saying not our problem
So unprofessional
And unacceptable
I will be letting others know of the disregard they have for customers through 3rd party

Poor Sercice

I have ordered several items from Roaman's web site. The first item I ordered was a pant & top set, I liked it but it was too big, I returned it for a smaller size. I received the top of the pant set but not the bottoms, I had to order the item 3 more times before I received both the top and pants to the set. In January I ordered a dress and tunic top. I received 2 pairs of pants. I called them and told them I was returning the items I did not order and I wanted my money back. They received the pants back but they did not refund the total amount that was charged to my account. When I called them they agreed to refund the shipping charges that they had not refunded me on the items I did not receive but they refused to refund the Sales Tax that they kept. It is against the law for anyone to keep sales tax on refunds. I WILL NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN.

The quality of the merchandise is horrible. They charge you to ship it back ( a processing fee) They deny receiving your return, then they deny your refund. Horrible company.

I do not wear plus sizes but happen to like my tops larger and like tunics which this site has many. I was put on their mailing list, (U.S. Mail) and recieved a few catalogs. Then I found them online. I ordered a few times and bought 6 or 7 tops. I'm glad I didn't pay the full price but sale prices. The clothes I bought from t's to blouses were not of quality you would expect for the regular price before mark down. 1 top came well made and has stood the test of about 8 washes now. The rest were either tailored with crooked seams, cheap material, or stretched out of shape washing as directed by the site. Considering I paid 40%-60% off full price for my items I didn't bother with returning hassle, wear around the house. So if you buy from Romans I suggest you buy very reduced sale prices because the quality of merchindise is not as they would have you believe. Good customer service on phone and on site. Also you can get Romans clothing, Women Within clothing and Jessica London clothing all on discount sale much cheaper than sales on each site. Just be careful please.

I purchased a pair of hiker boots from Romans catalog in December 2014.The heel on one of the boots split and came apart from the heeI one month later. I believe they were dry rotted.

I will never shop at Roman's again! The advertisement on the catalog stated that with a $25 order you would receive a roller-bag. I ordered a loungewear set on sale for $19.99 and a pair of slippers that were on sale for $9.99. The order exceeded the $25 requirement and I applied the promo code for the roller-bag and it was accepted via the online order form. I received my order today sans the roller-bag. I called Roman's to inquire about the roller-bag and the customer service representative informed me that loungewear and sale items were not eligible for the roller-bag. I stated that I did not see any disclaimers in the catalog or on the online order form and I asked if there was there anything she could do. She spoke to her supervisor twice on my behalf, but the supervisor refused to do anything for me. The only reason I ordered from Roman's was to get the free roller-bag. Had I known the items I ordered were excluded from the promotion, I would not have ordered those items. Now, I will never order from them again!

I ordered a swimdress, and clearly did not research the reviews prior, which was clearly a HUGE mistake. I received a men's plaid shirt. I called to get the correct item shipped, and I was told I had to exchange the current item first, which could take up to 3 weeks or pay again and they would credit me once the shirt was returned. After telling them to just refund me because I'm not waiting that long, they told me I had to return the $24 shirt first(my swimdress was $66). This was a huge inconvenience since this wasn't my mistake and a waste of my time to ship something I never ordered. After talking to a crappy supervisor they agreed to refund me the full amount with shipping, but they needed the shirt back within 30 days. So I agreed, but I have only received the refund for the item. I told them I'm not sending the item back until I receive the full refund since that was the deal. They keep replying saying that the refund was processed for the shipping. It is still not on my card or PayPal account. This is a HORRIBLE company, and I'm not sure how they stay in business. The supervisor straight up told me my item was probably shipped to the person who ordered the shirt and of course the company has problems or she wouldn't have a job.

BUYER BEWARE - RETURNS

BUYER BEWARE - I ordered 8 items 10/5, I received 7 of them 10/12, I knew I needed to return a few, but waiting for the last item which was received 11/12. I wanted to return them all together. I created a shipping label 11/23, USPS picked it up 11/25. This was during the Holiday week, the tracking said it was received by them 12/13. I received an email saying my return had been received and the credit was being processed. I have been waiting, I spent over $150 and returned 6 of the 8 items. I have been on the phone with 3 people and they refused to give me a credit, because I am magic and I obviously have control over the delivery from the USPS. They are now saying that basically if you do not ship it within the very next day, it has to be received by them within 60 day...by the way, I was one day late 61 days, you don't even get your items back that you spent $150 on, or do you get an email back saying...Opps I should not have sent that email saying the credit is being processed because we want to screw you over for one day. I spend alot of money within the chain of Roamans stores and will never ever again. I have talked up them and will definitely again, but in a negative way. BEWARE.

I bought and received an order on 11/29/18. The shoes I bought did not fit (size 8 - and I am a STANDARD size 8). No problem. "Free Returns and Exchanges" - right? NOPE.

I returned them immediately (probably very early December for EXCHANGE). Today, (it is 3/19/19) I received my DANG ORIGINAL ORDER BACK! It's been FOURTEEN WEEKS! Included was this note "Return Old/Damaged Merch. To Customer".

I NEVER WORE THE stupid SHOES. I tried them on, stood up and WAY too tight. Took them off and put them into the original packing - sent them off within a couple DAYS.

As others have said - there is and will never be ANY satisfaction from this company. I will NEVER buy from them again. I've bought for years with issues then too, but "let it go".

I now have two pair of shoes that I cannot wear and I've been charged for postage back and forth. I HATE this non-service. The company is disgusting. I say this because I returned things two other times and never heard a word from them: NOTHING. I was too busy to follow through, so this time, when I sent these back, I wrote in HUGE letters EXCHANGE everywhere. Still never heard a dam word until FOURTEEN WEEKS later when I get my return package BACK.

HATE THIS COMPANY. NEVER NEVER BUY FROM THEM. This is so SAD because I have bought things I can use and have enjoyed. I've also bought a couple things that fell apart. Since I rarely complain, I never said a word about those. I just chalked it up to "experience" and was more careful with future orders.

I placed an order on November 30th and received a confirmation email with my order number. On the confirmation email Roamans sent, there is a link for checking the status of your order. I checked my order status several times and the last time it said my order had been prepared for shipment and expected shipping day was December 14th. On December 14th I clicked on the check order status link and this time it said order can not be found. I emailed customer service and did not get a reply. The next day I called customer service and at first all I got was a computer telling me I placed an order on November 30th, so then I asked to speak to an operator and I spoke to Freddy who told me my order was on backorder and was expected to ship on January 17th. I asked him why I wasn't notified of this change to my order and he told me that my email address was not on file. Well if my email address wasn't on file, how did I receive an email confirmation that contained the link to check my order status in the first place? I told him to cancel my order and I told him that I will never buy another item from this company again!

Money Hungry!

After being a long term customer of Roamans and having their credit card for several years, I have returned my first item. The refund amount was minimal. Only $15. Not the principle of the matter. I followed all instructions. Sent the item back within allotted time, made sure to fill out all the necessary papers and return them with the item, check with post office to make sure item was picked by Roamans agent, etc.
Then some health issues got in the way and I didn't call for a couples months. When I did call customer service I was first told they did not receive the item! I explained that I had already confirmed that they had received it. That conversation went around in a circle for about 10 minutes. Then I was told that they had received it but after 60 days. NO! I had the clarify that I had already confirmed with my local post office as to when their agent had picked up the parcel, as per previous conversation, well within 60 days!
Then I was told that since my call was past the 60 days they would not/could not give the refund. Really?! A whole $15 for a long term customer? I explained that I hade sent it back within the allotted time, the agent had picked it up within the allotted time. And that Roamans had been sitting on it instead of issuing credit! Roamans is at fault, not myself. Still got the same answer.
So I explained that I will close my credit account and never do business with a company that treats it's customers that way again. I was then offers a discount if I wanted to order something today! Can you imagine?! Umm NO!
End result, closing my account and will never do business with them again. They have the item and my money!

I have ordered from Romans going on about 2 years now love the clothing, just recently I was approved for a credit card great just in time for holiday so I'm waiting for card to come in mail never got it when I called I was told oh card was sent it was returned I asked what address they sent it to an address I lived at more than 3 years ago don't even know how they would have gotten address ok so I spoke with their rotten customer service thought we had issue resolved got card in mail@ the correct address I ordered a couple items as Christmas gifts guess what the package was sent to old address and I will not have my items in time for Christmas I have spoken to 2 sups all they cam say to me is if you have another card we can re order items for you where am I getting another 170.00 from a week before Christmas finally got a number to executive communications it's nothing but a voice mail promising a call back within 24 hours it's now going on 36+ hours still no call back and still no item's or account refunded this is the worst experience I've had with customer service and the whole time I talked to 1st sup she kept trying to blame for their incompetency
