This is the worse company I have a credit card with. They screw you over. No I'm paying for something I don't even have. Run from this company DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! I had to give a rating to bad they don't have 0.

December I ordered two leather jackets. I wanted them in smaller sizes and did not have to wait until the large ones were returned. Went ahead and ordered that leather jacket in my size. Was sent an email saying they received my order. Then I received an email saying that they were processing it and I was going to get around $490 back I then have all the emails I sent January February and March asking for my refund. They never responded. Finally at the end Of April I called customer service, again, wary, since they had been of no use earlier. I told them the situation and their answer was at three months had passed and I could no longer get a refund. Roamans owes me around 490.00. I Tried for over three months to get my refund. That they don't answer my emails does not mean they should get away with not paying me. I have all of the emails. The people they outsource their customer service calls to have a script and will not deviate from it. When I asked them Where I can send all of the evidence, my emails. They would just repeat that three months had past. Part of the trouble is they don't really understand English well enough to assess the problems. Almost 590.00 is a lot of money. Their actions are negligible and criminal. I want my refund. The image below January 19, is the last I heard about my refund.
Was never as bad as it is now. Items missing from order. Super slow deliveries. Poor quality of clothes.
Not sure if will order from them again. And I was a Romans card holder. Sad.
I have gotten various things in the mail from Romans maybe two out of 10 were the correct things that I ordered had to make lots of phone calls to get to the right person and the rest were from some other company the wrong size cheap material and I just give up I will never order anything else from Romans again
I received someone else's order and the Agent I waited an hour on line to speak to argued with me that I received my order. I had an invoice# and customer# that stated otherwise. She wanted me to print up and sign and return an affidavit that I didn't receive my own order. Oh huh uh. I asked to speak to a supervisor as I was tired of this agent being so rude. Never got that far as she hung up on me. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON THEIR CRAP MERCHANDISE!
I purchased a dress from Roman of Yeovil and was happy and confident with my purchase. However, after wearing the dress just once the seams freyed. May I add I had bought this dress a size bigger for comfort. I returned to the branch and showed the manager the dress who then made me try the dress on and proceeded to ask me to sit down in it, the dress was clearly loose and obviously did tigtened alittle when I sat down. She offered me no resolution, I expressed I wanted the number for her head office. I rang the head office twice to be told that the manager had left a report stating they were not prepared to give my money back or a discount. I am extremely disappointed because not I am left with a dress I will never beable to wear again or repair. What happened to "the customer is always right" BUYER BE AWARE!
In April of 2021 I called Romans and negotiated a payoff of my account of $275.00. I asked for an email or text receipt saying the account was paid off and was told that my next statement would show a zero balance. When the statement came, it didn't show a zero balance. I called them immediately and explained what had transpired the month before and that the account should have a zero balance. This agent could find no notes on my conversation the previous month and asked for a payment. I said I am not going to pay anything else on this account. As I had paid it in full. Since then I have spoken to them on the phone, written to them repeatedly, and emailed them. The keep calling which is fine. Today was the final straw. I received a call from another agent. He seemed to be helpful while I explained what happened. Then we started to talk about what he said was still owed and what he could eliminate from the balance. Turns out I would owe another $111.00. I politely told him that I paid it off back in April and all the charges and interest on those charges plus anything else they added to the account since then I was not paying
This was when he called me ignorant. And I told him he was very rude. Their agents are not trained properly or maybe they are. Anyway I will never deal with them again. Oh, now they are thread me with collections. I love it
I Place and order with Romans on May 8th everything was fine then received a email saying half of the items were back orders two weeks
Then another one stating that the back order was now going to be 2 months later than original! NEVER AGAIN! HORRIBLE SERVICE
I bought 2 item $120.88 total in Feb 2017. VERY SLOW SHIPPING. Got the items. Inferior poor quality and returned them IMMEDIATELY, the next day. My refund? Only $97.39! They deducted shipping charges both ways AND "HANDLING". Total RIPOFF. I WILL NEVER BUY AGAIN.
I have tried unsubscribing and it won't let me. What an awful company to deal with! I keep getting emails for Plus sized clothing and I am a 6! So very aggravating!
They charged me for unnecessary fees. I tried to speak with someone in customer service, their options for what I needed did not exist, I tried to get to a department to help me with my issue, it was impossible. So I sent a message which was basically ignored and then I was charged another fee because while I was trying to figure out the issues a new billing period hit. So they charged me the additional fees. The only balance I have is their fees and I cannot get anyone to discuss it with me. I pay my bills, this hiccup was on them and there is no way to resolve it. TRUST ME DO NOT OPEN ONE OF THEIR CREDIT CARDS. This should never have happened, in fact I have never had it happen with any other company I do business with.
1) Refusal to re-issue incorrectly issued credit
2) Applied my charges to an Ulta credit card and refuse to correct it
3) Prices are like a shell game, constantly changing
4) Refusal to honor FB Club shipping charges
I bought something from roamans and never credited my account and sent in payments and still saying i owe money put me to 4 different ppl they are ripping ppl off
I ordered a dress for a wedding. When the order arrived it was someone elses order in the package and not my dress. I called CS expecting that they would apologize and immediately send me MY order. To my shock, the girl told me it would take 3-4 days before my credit would go through so that they could recharge me again. What the hell?! The only way I could get my CORRECT order sent was to open a credit card through them that they could charge my already PAID FOR DRESS. NEVER AGAIN!
Please don't order they will find a way to steal your money. You pay them off shut them down then they charge you a late fee with interest. To get back st you I'm taking it further.
I would NEVER buy from Roman's. They sale plus size clothes but they put skinny models in it as If They're shame show plus size models I can't see what that size 22 look like in a size 5 person but yet you want my money really I hate Romans
Their shipping charges are excessive and clearly are meant to add to the total cost of the merchandise purchased! There is no way they equal what they are charging! Avoid at all costs!

I almost open an account but before I did I look into there policy happy I did they make it really hard to make payments on your account there is a 41. Dollar fee should you ever be late on making any payments for what ever reason they also charge 26 in half % interest rate they only take credit cards or bank accounts has a way to make payment but you can not use your debit card to make any payments they dont take debit you must have a bank account and give them all your banking info routing number and so on so they can do automatically withdraw from your account monthly how ever you can
Use a credit card to make a payment on your credit card but your account will be charged a 15 dollar convenience fee for paying over the phone useing your credit card? Very glad I took the time to read what kind of payments they took before I used the account I will never do automatic withdrawals with my bank account ever again learn that lesson a long time ago you risk them taking out payments early or double and some banks also have a charge for useing that to always read be where of what your getting into with these companies
I am so dissatisfied that I will never order from Roamans again and I ordered a lot from them.
I purchased a 10 pair package of nude panties from them and even after I wore them the first time they disintergrated... the elastic in the legs unraveled, the fabric tore holes in it, even the waistband elastic came loose. I tried repairing, patching the holes and sewing the elastic but it all came loose again. Today I called them to remind them I had called 4-6 weeks ago and they were suppose to send me a packing label to use for returning them. The first " idiot " James (one of the foreigners that could not speak or understand English.) I asked to speak to the supervisor at least 4+5 times and ended up yelling at him and this is not my style. He was over talking me, finally told him he should just listen to the customer he finally transferred me to another agent who promptly transferred me to a supervisor. She was more interested in company policy than in the complaint about the quality or like there of the quality. It is a. Sad shame to pay $5:00 each for underwear that falls apart even after wearing only 1 time.
Answer: I think they don't want very many people getting the sales price, then when you really still want that item you charge or pay at full price. I'm dealing with that same problem right now.
Answer: Good question! I have never heard of such a thing. My suggestion would be to call customer service from your card account and ask if this is common practice and request an explanation.
