The marketing messages and practices are deceptive. Don't think you are getting exchanges with no shipping charges. They will go up on the prices of the replacement clothes or only give you gift certificates for your "refund" when you exchange. I have seen the prices on the screen increase as I spoke to the employee ordering the exchange. Turn around for exchanges is at least a month, far too long, by which time the item requested in exchange for the item returned is no longer in stock.
That charged me $25.61 to return an item that was not even worth $10! They say it's easy to return but you will never receive a full refund and you will be charged outrageous shipping fees! Their customer service has minimal information, at best, and if you try to escalate the call you are transferred to another country. I have bought many items from them over the years but they have changed and I will NEVER order from any of their companies again! If I could give less than 1 star I would!
I have years earlier ordered from some of these companies never had a problem until now ordered one their store credit cards to purchase some items which the coupons looked attractive on the ads, the coupon came with the credit card got ready to order they{coupons} don't work I was told by customer service it's a third party coupon now what does that mean? That I CAN'T use it, makes NO sense.Truly believe these are maybe not all foreign investors that have brought up these companies...Can't stand the call center the noise is awful.I'm so disappointed...Good luck to anyone else maybe you'll have better experience...
This place does not verify email addresses for accounts. I receive emails with order confirmation because someone gave them my email address instead of their own. This is a possible security flaw because I could potentially use that email to reset their password, mess with their credit card info, cancel orders, or order a bunch of stuff the woman who can't remember her own darn email probably doesn't want. I'm a nice person, so I don't, but not everyone is nice. When I sent them an email explaining this, I got back a form letter offering a discount on my next order. There will be no next order because there was never a first order as I try not to give my credit card info to people who can't even be bothered to verify an email address
At Romans there is no customer service- but there is customer disservice. Managers "dont take calls" and associates who answer the phone are empowered to do nothing. In addition they run a scam where they bill you $16.95 for some kind of "club"...problem is that they dont make it clear its a recurring charge until you sign up; then they give you a number to call to cancel...you guessed it- they dont just cancel they "escalate" it - that means I wait for an email to move on with the cancelation. Will wind up going through my credit card company- this kind of behavior is unacceptable and shameful. Avoid these folks.
Roaman's is part of a larger grouping of clothing option. Easy to return items however you will never receive a full refund and can only purchase another item using their "gift card". When speaking with their customer service the person has limited information and than transfers your call to someone in another country. I would never buy from any of these stores even if I was left with wearing only a gunny sack. If I could give a minus Star, I would.
I have been ordering from Roamans for years. At first everything was fine. Then over the past few years the quality has dropped significantly. I order the same top and capris. Everytime they come they are different. First the size may indicate my size but it is far from it. Then the quality of the fabric has changed from soft to scratchy. Finally their shipping charges are horrible. I wish they would go back to the old way where quality ment something to the company.
Per their Roamans platinum card, customers are to receive 4 free shippings/year when spend over $75. I spent $166 and had to return. They refused to honor their free shipping statement. I thus closed account/service with them. Have had other issues with their sorry Customer Service, as well.
They took 6 months to ship my order. It was delivered to the wrong state. When I called them back they said they couldn't do anything about it because the order was over 30 days! Horrible customer service, horrible agents who do not speak English, horrible experience. DO NOT BUY...it is just not worth the hassle.
They advertise clothes they don't have. They charge exorbitant rates for shipping. The clothes that do arrive are often unwearable—pants with the waist under the boobs, but too short in the pant leg for example, as well as cheap fabrics. Then they advertise immediate gift cards with happy returns but in fact do not issue the gift card at all.
I would think second about buying from these people. This is the second time, and every time I bought something they've charged a few cents extras, but it still is the fact that you don't do that you don't go and charge a few cents extra because it's a mistake on your end.
I have been shopping with ROMANS FOR years. I loved their clothes. Now they have cheap fabric's, the sizes are off and they charge you 10.99 to return your refund to original method of payment. I'm so upset they sent me the wrong color leggings and I always order a 1x in tops and they fit perfect. I just ordered a top in 1x and it is huge humongous and this top is made in Pakistan and The fabric is itchy. It fades quickly they used to have things made in marantis which was so nice the material. Not anymore. Their prices have gone way way up it is ridiculous. I'm going to turn them into the Better Business Bureau for charging 11 dollars to put your return back on your original method of payment. I will never order another thing from them again. They are ripping people off shame on you, Romans😡🤬😡
I returned 2 items on two different occasions. First time I asked for a refund back to my credit card and they charged me $11.99 for a return fee. The second time they gave me the option of getting a full refund on a debit card. I asked for the debit card. Was told I would get it as soon as they received the item back. They got it back on 8/6/2023. I called them on 8/12/2023 wanting to know where my refund card was. I was told they refunded $23.00 back to my credit card, and ripped me off for $11.99 for the return fee. DON'T EVER BUY FROM ROAMAN'S.
Tried to find a pair of extra wide shoes for my wife and paid ninety dollars for a pair from roamans. They didnt fit and roamans charged me thirty dollars to return them.rip off! I didnt want a credit for their products so I ate my loss.here we are four months later and I find they have been charging our debit $17.80 a month for some bogus membership associated with free shipping.they said because we qualified for free shipping they had us join the membership. BUYER BEWARE! I purchased a full length plaid robe from Roamans recently. The first time I wore it, I got some food on the sleeve. I took a paper towel and water and gently rubbed the food off. THE BLACK COLOR CAME OFF on the napkin showing the red underneath! I have had several emails back and forth with Roamams customer service. They will refund my money with a $10.99 "processing fee". I already paid to have the robe shipped to me, and since the item is complete junk, this is completely unacceptable!
I ordered 2 items for almost $100. I have now been informed the shipment is delayed, so I called to just cancel and they said they can't cancel my order even though it has not shipped. Awful customer service. The lady just spoke over me the whole time. I will never order from them again.
Received an offer with Free Shipping and Dollars off next purchase, site would not let me apply the discount. After 4 times trying to contact customer service never responded. Their site is terrible, they rip off people. Beware.
It's no accident in looking for a place to vent I read this per Sitejabber: "Roaman's has a consumer rating of 2.1 stars from 21 reviews indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Despite calls, emails, and a written dispute made over a 3 months, I was unable to get an order - bought on 6/23/22 and returned on 6/30/22 via their label to the post office - settled amicably. Have cancelled account. Their representatives at Comenity Bank seemed to think it was fine to make a payment for items I no longer had, despite the fact the statement clearly showed they received the order and tacked on a late fee while I was bounced ping pong style between Comenity and Roamans trying to get a fair ending.
Never received items and it continues to take over 60 days for credit of some sort. You call them they are the horrible have no clue and I honestly feel the delay is so that you will get tired and stop calling.
I'm so mad right now. They pulled the old credit card and also charged my credit card. Do u think they could get this through their heads that I'll only pay once for my products. I have called every day and not one person has helped me. I told them on my last call that I'm sending it all back and will never order again.
Answer: I think they don't want very many people getting the sales price, then when you really still want that item you charge or pay at full price. I'm dealing with that same problem right now.
Answer: Good question! I have never heard of such a thing. My suggestion would be to call customer service from your card account and ask if this is common practice and request an explanation.
