I returned 3 items following Shein's return policy - photographed items to be returned, got proof of postage from evri. Shein are saying when they only received 1 out of the 3 items and asked me to send them a video of me packing the clothes in the package - really! They are refusing any refund even the 1 they say they received, no wonder they are so rich. Having read lots of customer service reviews and business reviews this company is unethical and scams customers, be advised do not use.

BEWARE! I wrote a bad review on this site regarding a refund that Shein refused to give me. Someone responded to my review claiming to be from Shein's refund department. When speaking to this person, they told me that they will refund my purchase, and asked for my credit card details. When I refused to give them this information, they immediately hung up on me.
BEWARE OF THIS NEW SCAM. Scammers are trolling review websites to search for refund complaints, and then contact you to get your credit card details.
Nobody would need your card details in order to supply a refund. All they would need is your bank account number - not your card details. Be careful of these low-life criminals, they are not that clever and it is easy to outsmart them.

They sell products, take your money, but then they don't send the products to you. I was a loyal Shein user, placing orders every week and spending a lot of money there. You would think that after I reported a missing product they would apologize and provide compensation. WRONG. They dismissed my claim, telling me that I was lying and that the product was, in fact, sent to me. I'm here to tell you that it was NOT sent to me, and I have a feeling that they oversell their products and when they run out, they simply don't send it to you and then claim that they did. IT IS A SCAM, DO NOT ORDER FROM SHEIN.
It is very disappointing to share my experience with SHEIN customer care. I placed an order including essential travel items 10 days before my travel date, and to ensure timely delivery, I had been following up for over a week. Despite calling more than five times, no one in customer care was able to assist me. My last interaction with an agent named Mr. Mohamed was extremely unpleasant—he was rude, arrogant, and disrespectful. Due to this lack of support, I had to extend my travel ticket three times, which cost me additional money. To make matters worse, my package did not arrive on the promised delivery date, and I received no effective help from customer care. This has been the worst service experience I have ever encountered.

I did, only to be told once more that no further refunds would be issued. I'm missing over $200 worth of items from an order that totaled more than $350. Shein only refunded me $57 for two missing items and refused to take further responsibility. What's worse is that I had already contacted customer service multiple times before the review, and none of my concerns were taken seriously until I went public. Even then, nothing was resolved. The service was dismissive, and the resolution was unacceptable. Now I'm forced to dispute the charge with my bank, since Shein failed to deliver what I paid for. I'll also be leaving a review for Afterpay, because neither Shein nor Afterpay protected my purchase. Shoppers should be warned: if something goes wrong with your order, you'll be left to deal with it alone. This has been an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. Purchased from this company for several years. Returns were easy that all changed. I've left comments under several of the really dubious new practices they have in place-but I did not see this one mentioned so to add to the list – when you see an item at a good price and you purchase it. It shows up in your orders as a refund later - no reason just you're not getting it. Here's your money back. This has happened time again with items I looking forward to receiving - so if it looks like the price is too good to be true- it is.
Also note the puppy game now rewards 10 times less for a purchase than it used to and you'll need 300,000 points minimum to complete the last %

I can't figure out how to return clothes that don't fit. I spent an hour trying to figure out how to return a couple of items and it becomes a loop where they continuously ask for the order number which has to be copied then you start all over again! The clothes look and feel cheap. Even writing a review they make it as hard as possible.

I recently made a purchase on Shein - I never received the item. Contacted Shein and they sent me a tracking number - the tracking number is for a different address. When I called the post office - not only is the tracking number for a different address but the post office said the item is only 8 ounces - which could not be my item - which was much larger. Shein refuses to give a refund. You cannot say you were not warned.

I ordered a few items from their website recently and was I decided on one of those items so didn't return it immediately. Shein have coupons that they allow you to use and when I returned all except one item they said that the coupon was no longer valid and took this amount off of my refund. Not only this but when I said I would therefore return all the items and have a full refund they refused point blank telling me that I wouldn't be issued with a full refund which I'm not sure is actually legal. I have therefore paid a lot more for a dress than a)it was advertised for and b) was unable to return it and receive back exactly the total of what I had originally paid for all items. People watch out as I didn't know this was happening and will never shop at Shein again!

I have been trying to get a refund on the items that I haven't received. SHEIN said I needed to reach out to the shipping company SpeedX. I have reached out to them and they keep saying my address is insufficient. It's not! I had other packages from SHEIN delivered to my house. I was supposed to receive my package on the 3rd. When I reached out to SpeedX the AI will say "we will look into this shortly" and then they never get back to me. I've been dealing with this for a week now! I will never use SHEIN again.

As a first time customer, they offered me a $200 free order if I ordered within 10 minutes. The timer started going so naturally I started ordering very fast. At the end of the order they charged my credit card company. I tried to stop them from delivering, but they delivered the junk anyway. You cannot get through to their customer service. All they have is a robot with robotic answers. Long story short I had to go through my credit card company and put in a complaint for a refund. Capital one Visa told me all they do is get complaints about this company every day. Don't do it!

Disappointed with Delivery and Pricing Practices
I've been avoiding leaving negative reviews in the past, but this level of manipulation and dishonest business strategy forced me to speak up. Customers deserve better. This is the fourth time my orders from SHEIN have been delivered very late. One of those orders was from a different account, and the other three were from my main account. As compensation, SHEIN gives you 500 points, which is basically the equivalent of a lollipop—just enough to lure you back in or trap you into another purchase. It doesn't truly make up for the repeated inconvenience or poor service. What's even more frustrating is the pricing system. After you receive those 500 points, you'll notice that the prices of products seem to increase—so the "reward" feels meaningless. I've even compared prices using a different (guest or new) account and noticed clear differences. As a Business Analyst, I understand how pricing algorithms work—and it's obvious SHEIN's system adjusts prices dynamically, especially as you're getting ready to check out. That's manipulative. I ordered a few items on April 15th via express shipping and they still haven't shipped them. It is JUNE! So I would save your money and shop at other sites even if they're a bit more expensive.

I got my clothes in a good period of time and sure some of the clothes didn't fit the way I needed them too but that's the risk you take buying online without trying something on. I found the clothes to be a good quality. I would compare the quality of items I received to be similar to that of like forever 21 or urban planet. No where is going to be perfect and you have to use your discretion when purchasing something. Obviously you're not going to get this intricate beautifully crafted A+++ quality item for like $13, but I would say the quality was better than I had expected given the pricing.
