Unreliable service

Unreliable and untrustworthy. Very bad follow up and customer service. I filed my refund request due to COVID in March as my flight was scheduled in April. Yet it's been 5 months and I receive same replies like our finance team are looking into it. Some family members booked directly through the airlines and got refunded within 3 weeks!
There is no clear response or timeline of the refund just promises and delays.
Please avoid booking with Rehlat.ae

My refund has been pending for over 4 months now. They keep on making excuses that they will refund the money and it's delay from the airline. I contacted the airline and they told me all refunds have been processed already. They are scammers. Do not book a ticket with them. Pay 80-100 dirhams extra but book from airline directly. I even did a police report for them in kuwait and dubai as well but no response.

Refund problem
August 5, 2020

I had the same situation as most of the customer experience with this travel agency. It was more than 90 days now and still i did not get my refund. They keep sending me the same reason. I filed a complaint on Dubai Tourism online complaint but they told me that since this company is base in Kuwait i must complain thru Kuwait government that handle this kind of situation.
On my research it was Kuwait Government online Air Transport handle this situation.
I made a complain already and hoping for a good result.
It is sad that during this Pandemic when people lacking financially and there are this kind of company giving a burden to us.
I hope this post will help those people seeking to refund their money back.

Do not book

I have had similar experiences to those I have just read about. My flight was cancelled in April due to COVID, if I had booked directly I would have had my refund by now but Rehlat are doing everything to avoid communication.

It's now 3-months that I am waiting for a refund from Rehlat.com for a flight, which has been cancelled by the Airline. I was promised 25 to 30 Days in April and since then, there is no sign of refund. My sincere advise is to book directly with the airline or through a travel agent. Rehalt taking 39KWD as convenient charge per ticket, stupid and fraud agent. I booked my ticket with Etihad airways.

On 23rd march 2020 in the first email they told me that my refund we will credit within 15-18 working days, then after 15 days i gain call to rehlat they told me that as *******@gulfair this will take 30-60 days and the they cut my 25 kwd as a cancellation charge. As of its been more than 120 days i did not received my refund. I would like suggest the people please dont book tickets through the rehlat they are always lying.

I booked trough Rehlat and due to Covid i cancelled my ticket and as per Airline there is not cancellation charges prior 48 hours but Rehlat charged me. Even i Accepted charges and since March 2020 till day didn't receive my refund money. I am doing follow up but only receiving response that waiting from Airline, we forwarded your request to concerned department. It is Rehlat internal matter with Airline and i paid to rehlat not to airline then i am suffering. I suggest all of you dont book through Rehlat and book direct through Airline.

I Booked special flight Ticket from Kuwait to Delhi. Before booked they said 15th June must flight gone as per schedule then said 19th June now 2july still no flight more than 100 times I call and 60 emails I sent all the times said Sorry with in 24 hrs we will confirm now 17 days over no confirmation. Bunch of liers in this company and when I asking refund then said don't worry we will doing something for urgent basis. Before booking said if flight cancelled we will give full refund. Insha'Allah the company owner go Jahannum and all the staff who telling lies... please beware all people don't purchase tickets from Rehlat and his sister company Al Bader travels.

I booked air ticket for Kuwait to Islamabad, it was on 21st May 2020 for Qatar Airways from online website Rehlat. When I called up Rehlat to cancel my ticket as due to pandemic I have no work no pay. Ticket cancellation was charged to me 35kd, which is a huge amount still I let it go. But refund of remaining amount is still pending from 15th May 2020. Rehlat has worst customer service. After sending tons of emails and calls only one reply from them. Worst and fraud Rehlat never cleared the information from their side. I have no work since 8th March 2020, due to pandemic life is stuck in one cubical. I have family here with me for which I have to provide. After requesting and wasting my local call balance for more than 7.5kd, answer from Rehlat is still my remaining amount will take more than 60 days to process. I have been waiting from 15 May 2020 till date, this is height of negligence from Rehlat. This is the value of your customer, when you cant afford good customer service close this crap online drama and trap in which innocent people get trapped every now and then.
I ask each and everyone not to ever book any airline ticket from Rehlat ever.
WORST WORST WORST service ya Rehlat.

You may see many paid add of rehlat in google or You tube. You may think this is a big company. I also think that and I got cheated in the time of pandemic of COVID-19. I booked my flight for repatriation kuwait to Ahmedabad for 15 june. I made booking on 9th of june. Till 15th they have not confirmed my booking neither given me ticket or payment invoice. On 15th they switch of their customer care number.
If the booking has not been done they should refund my payment but they are saying that booking has been done but flight ticket will be only given before 24 hr of journey.
In this case they should issue me a ticket on 14 june for 15 june flight but no; I still not received any ticket from rehlat.
I request to my friends; if you have excess money donate to the needy one but don't waste your money on making booking on rehlat because they are very serious about keeping your money as long as they can.

As a matter of fact, we are yet awaiting the approval from the airlines. It usually takes 15 - 20 working days for a Refund Application ( RA) to get approved by the airlines but due to the ongoing COVID issue, the timelines are changed. It can take upto 60 working days as per the update from the airlines.
However, we are in follow up with them and will keep you posted with the latest update from them.

Those who didn't get there refunds from last 60 days & more, please start lodge compalints to Dubai Chamber, Economic department in Consumer rights department, Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing, Gulf news, social medias etc, elsewise we will not get our refunds back & one day they will close there so called shop & will runaway.

I have received so many commitments even they have confirmed that carrier reimbursed my money before a month ago but Rahlet is not ready to release even they have started booking (looting) new customer.

Really it's painful to write like this or make a complaint against them bcuz might be lot of people questioned but due to their poorest services we wre helpless.

PLEASE DONT BOOK WITH RAHLET ANYTIME, BUY THE TICKETS FROM AIRLINES ATLEAST THEY ACCOMODATE NOT CHEAT LIKE RAHLET...

Please start complains against them elsewise one day we will not get anything.

Almost similar story as others facing too.

Booked my ticket in mid of Feb, 2020 with additional paid option "Cancel for any reason - Get Refund - No Questions asked", I cancelled my booking on 14/03/2020 & till date no refund received, sent several email reminders around more than 10-15 but only copy paste lollipops as funds (which is almost after 40% deduction means half amount) will take time (no one knows when) to reimburse even I have paid to my bank full unused ticket amount to save late fee charges on card but Rehlat they don't care.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER REALLY, Please do the needful ASAP elsewise we all have to knock the door of UAE ministries & as you are well aware they are very prompt/strict & might be you have to pay refund+compensation+fine as well, so kindly requesting you to handle everyone in a professional manner not treat us like animal.

Am so disappointed and would never recommend anyone to book with Rehlat either.

I gave my trust eventhough it is my first time to book my ticket with this agency. But because of pandemic, the airlines itself cancelled the flight which is not my fault. I decided to cancel my flight as well and requested for refund. Knowing that all airlines waived charges for rebooking, cancellation, etc... I still paid for cancellation fee which you required Me to pay.
I was advised that refund will take 30 to 45 days to process, after this period, i sent mail to follow up. Again i received different statement that it will take 69 days to process again, no consistency in providing info to the clients.
Until now I haven't received my refund despite of many follow ups. I am just wondering why it takes time for you to process but when getting money from us, it was very quick! I read many complains and starting to get worried if i will able to get my money back. We gave our full trust and risk our money to have your service. Please work with dignity and honesty...
We need our money back! Dont give false hope instead do an action to resolve all issues... taking money which are not yours will give you bad karma...

Worst possible travel agency with poor value and ethics. Booked a travel to India through Rehlat on srilankan airlines in April 2020 due to covid my flight got cancelled by airlines since then I am chasing for my refund. My biggest concern is that when I myself tried to contact srilankan airlines they ask for refund application number which Rehlat is not providing me. They simply state in emails that we cannot provide your refund application number as it's against their policy. What kind of policy prevents customers from knowing their own refund application number.

I have canceled the flight on 25th of march 2020 due to covid19 pandemic sinch then i have been following up for my refund. There is no proper answer from any of their customer service executives they just trying to fool you by blaming someone for the delay. The worse part is their email support team. If you ask anything they will just revert you a same autogenerated email which is more frustrating. I have been waiting for my refund since 2 months and now i feel helpless to get my money back. So however is suffering from same situation please file a case on consumer court UAE and write your experience on rehlat social media pages so that people will aware of there fraud.

I had a booking (Booking ID: *******) with Rehlat to travel to India on 21st May but the Airline cancel all flight due to Covid-19. Due to this I request Rehlat to Cancel my ticket on 9-April-2020 and they did it but as promise they suppose to refund the money with 5-10 days but as of nothing they did. Whenever contacting just a simple answer "Waiting for Airline confirmation".
I am not sure I will get my Refund or not...

Like many others here I was not able to travel on my flight due to Covid 19.

Despite paying the extra insurance (with Rehlat)to cover any problems, despite Etihad providing refunds for those not able to travel due to Covid 19, I still do not have my refund from Rehlat!

After pointing out and cc Etihad Airways into my email that Etihad were providing refunds Rehlat conceded and 'processed' for a full refund on April 18 and told me the refund would be up to 4-5 working days... now we are over a month!

Now when I email and ask where my refund is I don't even get a reply from Rehlat... are they hiding? Do they think I will stop asking? Once Kuwait ministrys go back to work I will be lodging my complaint directly.

Forget Rehlat people, your money is safer direct with the airlines, even if it costs a little more to begin with.

VERY POOR SERVICE

Im curious if someone get their refund or no?
For one month Rehlat keep telling me that I will get my refund after 4-5 days and I still didn't get my refund back.

I'm going to write email to Department of Tourism UAE. Very poor service!

I booked a ticket for emirates flight which is cancelled. KGJEVN.
Emirates website and support says full refund for cancelled flights.
Why is rehlat not giving full refund and just giving random excuses?
Should we regret that we booked through rehlat and not directly though emirates? How will you run your business then? Please contact me on my email or phone number on the booking.
