$#*!y experience the staff is rude specialy in Tangier the flight was delayed and because I considered the delay and came before more than an hour from the new flight they didn't print my boarding pass where it is clearly saying I have to come before an 1 hour from the departure and they printed for another guy that beside because the onw of the staff knows him, so I advice the people seeing my comment to go with other airlines where the staff are more polite and treat people equaly
They told me I could change my ticket, but Ryanair does not do refunds or credits.
I would give them a negative -5 star review if I could.
These are the pirates of the sky and now after my last interaction with them. I will never fly Ryanair again.
I don't care if it costs me 3 or even 6 times their airfare to fly with anyone else.
My mother in-law has had a major stroke. I have 8 days before I was going on a flight with Ryanair. I spent 45 min waiting for someone to attend to me on the chat (complete waste of my time).
So I went to my booking to change the tickets to a later date. The charges to change is more than the tickets I purchased.
£45 per flight per change and the difference in the airfare.
Now to be clear. I was changing my flight from December 2024 this year to March 2025.
It is absolutely criminal and I have had enough. I am sharing this everywhere I can to save others the robbery from rip off artist that is RyanAir.
We have flown with Ryanair for years, but for the first time we had to cancel due to a potentially serious issue with our daughters pregnancy. They have made things impossible to contact nor recognising any of our phone numbers or emails. They are only interested in getting as much money as possible, even though they advertise themselves as caring. We will look to finding another carrier going forward.
So very dissapointed. Booking reference VWT9PJ
What a waste of time service desk, absolutely disgusting. Some top secret person answered, I explained the situation with passport and capability's with check in. Help desk refused to help free of charges offered to do it at airport for additional £55. On request for the name who he was, hanged on Me⁉‼ Absolutely rip off🤢🤢🤢
Ryanair is a scam flight company. They try to attract customers and compete other airlines rivals by their advertised low cost tickets. In reality, they charge additional fares at the check-in desks because they know customers are in a trapped situation. If the customers refuse to pay for these out-of-the-blue additional fares, they risk their flight boarding. They charged £55 for check-in, and hundreds of pounds by all their bul$#*! bags policy. If adding all the scam fares, the total ticket price is higher than other standard flight companies, but the service offered by Ryanair is worse than the latter. Surprisingly aviation authority keeps a blind eye on these scam flight companies. Instead of "Ryanair - low fair- great care", it should be changed to "Ryanair - more fares - no care - nightmare."
I booked an extra legroom seat on my return flight from Malaga which was last night at a cost of £28.00, however they changed the plane type and hence the seating configuration, so the seat I actually got was a normal legroom one. As I did not get the extra legroom seat I paid for I requested a refund of the £28.00 through the Ryanair app, as the useless stewardess (that's another story), only to get an automated response telling me about problems checking in, suggesting that I hadn't checked in properly. Not even mention of the refund. They are so useless, I don't know how they can be so appalling. Yes they're cheap, but they make up for it with hidden costs. They're not worth it, shall be spending just a little bit more next time on a much better airline.
Unbelievable but true
2.5 years ago Ryanair sent me a cheque in euros issued by a German Bank to my British address in return for cancelling the flight I was supposed to have taken 3 months before.
The currency exchange fee and the bank commission to cash it in was higher than the amount of the cheque itself.
Nice try Ryanair, if you don't want your customers to get reimbursed just send cheques on a different currency.
I am a university doctor from Sweden. I took a Ryanair flight three days ago from Copenhagen to Vienna without any problem. Today, I took the return flight. I was this time told I must pay a penalty fee for my exactly identical bag. I told them I came three days ago with Ryanair, with the same bag. Ryanair's staff did not believe me. I offered them the ticket as proof. They ignored it and shouted at me to 'pay the fine or you cannot board the plane'. I then removed a large duvet cover from my bag, after which the bag fit into their standard model box. Still, they ignored it, and repeated: pay or be left behind. Upon request, they also refused to give me their names, or the name of their manager. I also watched as Ryanair's staff showed the same disrespectful treatment to many other, visibly upset, passengers.
Know this before choosing Ryanair:
1) They can forcibly take a large amount of money from you at the gate without justification.
2) If you dont pay, they can threaten to not give you the service you have bought and paid for.
3) They are not necessarily interested in a civilized conversation, as was my case.
I have flown Ryanair regularly for over a decade. I must now reconsider my future choices.
Just don't with Ryanair. Save yourself the frustration. No amount of savings is worth it. And if you must, keep in mind that if you book through a third party (which you may have to do because Ryanair website often won't allow you to input necessary info), you'll have to go through a ridiculous verification process, which seems to only exist to extract a few more cents out of you.
Please do not buy tickets from this airline. I have to paid between 55 to 100 Euros in each of my flights last summer, apparently because I did not submit my ID online. This ID online is Ryan air scam, they sent you an email with instructions for you to check your ID online but the link is faulty and never work, then they do not allow you to check in online so you must do it at the airport, when you get there they charge you an unjustified fee between 55-100 Euros each counter in each airport set up their own fees. When you complaint they tell you that is the airport that is charging that fee, which is completely false. I has been traveling around the world for over 20 years, with several airlines and no one ever have charged me airport fees. Ryan air make up fees at the airport that no one else does.
I recommend VOLOTEA is a great new low cost airline in Europe, seems to be hones, also AEGEAN was good too.
There is no customer service at all in this company. When by system error I bought a ticket to my invalid email and could not see the reservation number.I called UK and Finland twice and waited a long time no one answered.Emailed three times.Did not get any response
On Oct 18th Ryanair contacted me to tell my flight to Tel Aviv on Oct 21th was cancelled. They said they'd credit the amount I paid in my wallet but they didn't.
Already sent 3 emails with no awnser. Support SUKKKS. I want my money back!
I have a flight from Berlin to TLV on October 21th. As the country is AT WAR, I asked to cancel my flight with full refund. They said that the flight it's confirmed and it's non refundable. It's regrettable that the airline wants to make money even with this situation. Would Ryanair pay me a fine with they cancel the flight? I bet not. Shame on you Ryanair
On a flight from London Stanstead to Bergerac 03/08/22 I put a backpack in the overhead locker and sat down in my seat to relax and fell asleep. I got up at my destination to find that Ryanair staff had removed my flight from the plane prior to take off. They had done nothing to inform me personally of this removal. It is now three almost a month since this happened and they have done nothing to help me. The bag is not where the staff had assured me it would be upon return and despite trying every day to track it down, it seems the bag is lost. I am now in the process of having to replace a MacBook Pro, house keys, glasses, birthday gifts among other items. None of tis is cheap and no-one has taken any responsibility for the bag being taken from me. In addition, like myself, everyone I have spoken to since is confused as to why cabin crew would remove a bag of such value and not know where it was going.
A terrible customer service on the ground and on boarding. They seem to make every effort to make flying a miserable experience.
Ryanair seem to have a new policy of seating groups apart, presumably in an effort to get people to pay to select seats. I feel that this will prove dangerous in the event of an emergency as passengers will try to get to family members before moving to exits.
We were left herded in holding areas outside the terminal building for half an hour without explanation.
I booked a cheap ticket online but paid 2 times more for baggage. At the airport only credit card is allowed. One lady with a child cried because she didn't have credit card. There is a lot of hidden charge behind cheap online ticket. Never travel with Ryan air
Recently flew with Ryanair and had a really horrific experience. Flight was 27/07/13 East Mids to Barcelona T2, NLQEPK. Basically with no prior warning the aircraft went into what felt like free fall and extremely bumpy. Passengers were walking to/from the toilets and fell down onto there hands and knees as the plane rocked and fell from side to side. The air hostesses were walking in the aisle and two of them also went flying and fell pretty much flat. I am very suspicious this may have been done deliberately to catch up on time as the flight was running late on departure. Watch the recent 'Dispatches - Ryanair Secrets from the Cockpit' which is very revealing and should make most people think twice about flying. At no pint after all this did the captain explain what had happened or why. I doubt it was the weather which was clear, bright and fine. Ryanair is an accident waiting to happen.
I'd recommend using this company only in case of a very tight budget. Once the staff nearly denied the boarding because my carryon was "beyond the established size limits" as they said without even measuring it. Another unfortunate occurrence was on board when I was coming home from vacation with an emptied purse. I asked for a bottle of water or at least a glass, but they refused to accept coins, even though I didn't have any paper money. I had to bear a terrible thirst for the long 5 hours. I understand this is their policy, but there could always be an exception. It was an emergency for me. They would let a passenger die but would not break their rules. Anyways, I put 3 stars for I suppose it's a matter of a human factor. My other flights with RyanAir were not that painful.
The new website is much better and easy to use.
The company is no frill. I don't like peopele who complain about low cost companies: they make their own job, so you can't pretend a 5-star flight
It's still the cheapest way to visit Europe!
As a US resident, I had the bad experience of being stuck in isolation in Italy because of covid. As a consequence, I was unable to make it for my Ryanair flights within Italy. I tried to reach out to the company several time to inform them about my situation. After several attempts using some kind of useless robot on their website and talking to representatives on the phone, they don't seem to have or want to put in place any customer-friendly measures in this already stressful situation. I felt totally helpless and I am socked by how they dealt with the situation. I would recommend you use low-cost airlines other than Ryanair for your next trips.
Horrible company. Predatory. I would not wish this company on anyone. Their insurance they promote disables you
To use their "change fee" for flights, having to book a last minute flight we were unable to check in due to being in the air and no wifi at the airport. Once arrived 11 minutes late to check in counter, they charged us 110 euros extra after paying for another flight out of pocket. On a side note the flight attendees wouldn't even give me a bandaid for my bleeding finger nail. Disgusting company. I will be going out of my way to tell people how horrible Ryan air is.
Answer: Gli addetti allo scarico, appena l'aereo atterra all'aeroporto di destinazione. Se il bagaglio lo hai imbarcato devi provvedere tu a scaricarlo.
RyanAir has a rating of 1.5 stars from 95 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with RyanAir most frequently mention customer service, several times and next day. RyanAir ranks 203rd among Plane Tickets sites.
