Petco

Bought all available dog training on 1 day sale, Introductory Puppy training through Canine Good Citizen certification. After 1 class trainer fired. No replacement trainer provided. No trainer made available for over 3 months. Store offered 2 alternative training sites. Each one was 40 minutes from my home, which was unacceptable travel time, gas and car wear and tear! Money was returned, but I was cheated out of all the half price training I should have received. Caused huge delay in getting my dog training started! I will never go back to that store! They were unresponsive and disrespectful!

Petco website does not work every single time I try to log in, then chat with customer service, send the password reset link, try to do that new password and can't go beyond it because the web page for this does not save my new PW and nothing happens. The customer service person says they'll escalate to tech people and will let us know. No one contacts us and nothing is resolved. It's been happening all of 2022 and I've gone through this process at least 10 times already.

I ordered food for my dog to take on our Christmas vacation. I ordered on Wednesday evening, and paid for one day shipping, thinking that it would be shipped the next day, as advertised on their website. After multiple calls, emails, chats, etc, I was informed that my order had not shipped, and would not ship until the following Monday (too late to take with us) but that I would still be charged the additional $15 for one day shipping. Customer service was horrid. They won't be getting any more of my money.

I went to Petco looking for a companion for my little ferret. So, I asked a salesperson for help. From the moment, he came to help me. He pointed out on an old ferret they had for adoption. When I saw it, I felt sorry for that ferret. I asked him if it would be a good companion for my ferret. He said yes (but he doesn't play with my ferret at all). Well, the fact is, they said the ferret was healthy. After a month, I noticed it had something on his neck. I didn't know what was it, but that thing started growing up very fast. I took it to the vet. They told me my poor ferret has a tumor and he needs a surgery. Unfortunately, that surgery is too expensive. I couldn't get it done yet. I had never imagined this would happen.

Petco is one of my favorite stores that offer things for pets. I usually buy supplies such as beds and bowls there. I also got a few toys and they were fine. Last time i bough harness and collar - it was on sale, buy 2, get 30% off. My dog looks super cute in them so good purchase. Shipping was super fast!

Called to cancel Monthy membership. Was told yes they can cancel at the renewal date of April 2024 and would have to continue to pay monthly until then despite due to bidenomics and other financial restrictions, was unable to continue payment... After telling them I would be.getting an attorney, calling the BBB,going to every social media outlet I could think of as well.as local news... they finally canceled my Membership. They are more concerned with $$$ not the customer.

I have been taking my dog to Petco for 11 years. In fact when you say Petco to him he gives you the cutest look turning his head perking his ears up. I do believe it's one of his favorite places to go. They taught me so much about obedience, nutrition and got me on the right path to helping out with local rescues. They always treat my dog like hes the only dog there. Being a member of the Petco pals reward program really Pays off. Getting emails with freebies on my dog and all 4 of my cat's birthdays is really cool. They have a lot of great items in store and online to shop for for dogs and cats, other animals as well but That's all I have.

I do not order from PetCo regularly, but a while back I needed a new light for my aquarium. I almost didn't check out their site because I figured they would be more expensive than other online stores. Boy was I wrong about that. They had the best price for what I had been looking for. Their shipping was fast, everything came in good condition. So from now on I will check with their site when I need something again that is pet related.

Buying online w/this retailer is best way to go with Petco, esp where there's not much competition on pet supplies, although now you must pick up the online order at the local store. Local store is a franchise and prices can be marked up as high as they want. Knew the pricing as had purchased online before - so was aware of cost - bgt the box of aquarium filters online for just over $7 w/local taxes, then picked up the order at nearby store. While there, checked the store price for same box of filters - quite an eye opener as it was $28 before taxes!

Beware of ordering online for this place and check your payment method after you receive your shipment. Part of my order was missing, and they double-billed me for the same order. I never received any message that there were items I had ordered that were not going to ship. You don't find that out till you receive your package. When contacting them about being doubled bill I'm told they will look into it and get to me. Never heard from them again. I'm done with Petco this was my first order and it is going to be my last I'll never place an order with them again.

Bought 9 fish. When return home 2 was dead ne t morning. Took it back and they want me to pay more for the same fish. WHY this scams. Just exchange thats it. Will never shop to petco. They sold me fish with eic.

I started with an email from them saying I could get 40% off for a repeat order. On their website that became 35% off. In check out it became 5% off! I then got on a chat with them and after 20 minutes of back-and-forth they said they'd give me my 35% off as a one time thing. But when I went to check out, it actually had me making a donation to them as well! This is very disappointing to me because it's easy for me to get my dog food from Petco and now I feel in order to show them that this is not acceptable, I need to change the store I buy from. I decided not to be party to this scam! Be wary of the actual percent off that you get!
