Worst customer service ever. Canceled my online order after 2 weeks of waiting without any explanation.

While I have shopped at Petco for dog food and some supplies, recently I have been shopping at Petco a lot more and have nothing but good things to say.
For me I usually shop at my local Petco and havent purchased much from their online store, however, Petcos products are always very nicely made and a pretty good price if youre part of their Pals program. If youre not part of their Pals program its super easy to join, however, if you dont want to the prices are still quite fair in comparison to other pet stores. My local Petco is SUPER clean and well kept up, something I want to see in any pet store I will even consider shopping at. As for the quality of products within the store, I think just about everything they carry is very nice. Now, of course, I havent actually tried every single product Petco carries, however, through looking at what I see on the shelves, hold, and some have purchased, theyre all quite nice. While my dog sadly doesnt play with toys Im never really in the toy aisle, however, Petcos online store holds many cute dogs toys and if you read the reviews youre sure to find something nice.
I personally havent purchased live aquatic life from Petco, however, seeing from how theyre cared for at my Petco they seem pretty nice. Also, along with fish and whatnot we have small animals which look well cared for and healthy.
I have included photos of some things I have purchased through Petco, all are not recent purchases but go to show how well made their products are. Recently I also got my dog some cow ears from Petco which were very nice and she loves them.
Overall, the products that Petco offers is very nice and its a great place to shop for your pet.
As for the grooming at my local Petco, its very nice. Ive only taken my dog to the groomer a few times but every time she comes out looking nice and well groomed. While I cannot speak for all Petcos around the nation, my local Petco has a very nice grooming crew.
I can find everything that I want for my dogs, they love each toy from petco! Lol!
HORRIBLE COMPANY! THEY HAVE A SCAM GOING CALLED VITAL CARE. STAY AWAY FROM IT! I SEARCEHED OUT A SPECIFIC PRODUCT THAT I WANTED TO PURCHASE OVER AND OVER AGAIN FROM PETCO. I WAS A LITTLE CONCERNED THAT FOR THE 1ST 2 WEEKS, THESE SPECIFIC PRODUCTS THEY WERE ALWAYS OUT OF BUT I REGISTERED FOR THE PROGRAM ANYWAYS. I SEARCHED FOR THESE PPRODUCTS FOR 2 MORE WEEKS AND THEY WERE STILL OUT OF THEM. THEY MAKE CANCELING THIS PROGRAM SO DIFFICULT. I THOUGHT I HAD SUCCESSFULLY DID IT ONLINE AND THEN THE NEXT MONTH I GOT CHARGED AGAIN. I EMAILED INTO PETCO ABOUT HOW I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO CANCEL THIS FOR MONTHS AND THEN THE TELL ME I HAVE TO CALL SOMEONE ELSE. WHEN YOU CALL THESE PEOPLE, IT IS A HUGE WASTE OF TIME LISTENING TO THEM STRUGGLE THROUGH THE WORST SCRIPTED ANSWERS. IT WAS SO BAD THAT THE ANSWERS WERE NOT EVEN MATCHING MY QUESTIONS. I NEVER USED THE PROGRAM, I TRIED TO CANCEL 2 WEEKS AFTER SIGNING UP AND THE BEST THEY SAY THEY CAN DO FOR ME IS MAKE SURE MY MEMBERSHIP DOES NOT AUTOMATIC RENEW IN 12 MONTHS. I AM A NEW DOG OWNER, THAT WE CAN ASSUME WILL LIVE MORE THAN 10 YEARS. I ORGIANLLY WANTED TO CONNECT PETCO THE THIS DOGS LIFE BUT WITH SUCH A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH VITAL CARE, I WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS COMPANY OR ANY OTHER COMPANY IT PARTNERS WITH. THEY GAVE UP 10 PLUS YEARS OF ME SPENDING IN THEIR STORES FOR 12 MONTHS OF $21 FROM ME. THAT SAYS EVERTHING ABOUT THIS COMPANMY JUST GOING FOR THE QUICK BUCK.
Petco in morgantown wv (Summer) who stated she was the manager, screamed at my 9 year austic son for touch dog food. As his mother it is my place to stabd up for him. I nicely told her it was not her place to scream at him. It is ok to ask him or nicely tell him to stop. If she wantes to scream she could scream at me. She followed up with it is her store and she can yell at anyone and if i dont like it to leave the store. I began to take my 3 children and walk away. It was obvious she was having a bad day. Then she scream i said leave my store. I asked to speak witg manager. She said i am the $#*!ing manager. Asked who was in charge of her
She continued with i own this place. At this point i told her i wasnt completing my shopping and asked her for her name. I said ill will just report her. She she said if i didnt leave she wpuld call police. I shocked her when i replied please do. I completed my shopping spoke to police. They were shocked. I left and called customer service. Some austic children have a sensory issue. They touch everything. Screaming at them scarea them and isnt affect. Its not his fault. He was hitting or making a sound. Just touched 2 bags of dog food. I will be returni g my products and will recommend to all friends, family, and service members to not support such a horrible store. That disrepect customers and yell and hurt children.
This was the absolute worse shopping/adopting experience of our lives.
We came into the store as a family because my spouse doesn't drive and is disabled, and the kids are too young to leave at home alone. It was a hot spring day, not fit to leave young children in the van.
My wife wanted a bird to adopt and was looking at a $450 conure. The kids were passively looking into the plastic upright cages while my wife was asking questions about the conure to an old crone employee who was cleaning the cages. The embittered dowager sales person was clearly annoyed by my spouse's question, and when she closed the cage door and came around the cage, she yelled at us for having too many people in our party.
I responded that we were here to adopt a bird and was about to spend seven or eight hundred dollars on the bird and supplies for it. She crowed on that it was a "State law" only two people to a party inside the store.
Now, as a resident of the state and being well-versed in COVID-19 pandemic legislation and ordinances in our area, I corrected her that the governor never issued a stay-at-home order and that the two person thing was that store's suggestion, not a law or policy. Well, she freaked out and waddled to the store manager, another dowerless old crone, who proceeded to yell from across the front of the store, "Goodbye. Have a nice day" repeatedly. We were kicked out of their store! Had they loss their minds? My wife was humiliated.
I never heard of such a thing. I called Petco customer service and was on the phone almost a hour with them. They took a complaint and asked me if I wanted to speak to the district manager. I said yes and was told the DM would be given my contact information. The DM never called.
Shame on Petco for treating my poor disabled wife so rudely and for not caring enough to call me back and at least explain the store manager's strange behavior. We went to three other Petco stores immediately afterward across the river while I was on hold with customer service, complaining about the Council Bluff store's treatment of us, and all three Omaha store teams were shocked and added that there was no law or policy restricting us from shopping at Petco.
I want an apology from that store manager for my wife.

Answer: It took them 8 days to ship my order & it arrived damaged. I called them for a replacement & that to was damaged. Called again & they asked if I wanted a refund & I told them no, I want what I ordered.
