Shocking company, will never book with Opodo again. They have charged me £35 for a 20 kilo bag on our return flight but have not booked it with Ryanair. I have phoned 3 times at 10p per minute and been promised they will add the bag. I have emailed several times but now I do not even get a response. The are in my opinion cheating their customers. I would not even give them one star
Horrendous customer service - AVOID at all costs. Promise to resolve your issue/refund but they lie and lie to you. Book direct instead - these people are crooks! If you want to hold on the line to speak to them for hours and then be cut off and then speak to someone with limited English then go ahead...
Total Scammers. Cant log in to my account so you cant cancel prime membership. Was very happy until i tried to log in to buy extras with my prime membership. 2 weeks on still cant log in. Prime says calls answered in under 1 min. Not true. Total scam in my eyes will never ever deal here again
British Airways cancelled my flights due to Coronavirus. That's understandable and no problems about that.
However, Opodo just cashed in British Airways' refund and they are not giving it to the end customer, that is me. Absolute shambolic scam of a company! This is NOT acceptable!
Now, I need to have the legal system look into this matter.
Opodo took a payment from us for flight tickets without booking our plane tickets, they let us know the flight was cancelled and that the booking didn't go through, yet they still proceeded to take the full payment. We thus lays for plane tickets and never received any
I made a mistake when booking my flights from Brisbane Australia to Entebbe Uganda and from Entebbe to Nairobi by not putting in me amd my friends middle names. Disputes numerous emails and calls to Opodo I was given the run around and now have had to book through an alternative company thereby loosing my over $2000 that was paid. I feel really upset as although I made the mistake I should have been able to add our middle names. I was prepared to pay any administrative cost but was not given the chance. So if you don't want to risk making a mistake when you book via Opodo then don't use them. You will not get a chance to remedy your mistake.

Opodo Prime amount 74.99 euros was deducted from my paypal account without my will and consent!
As part of my booking of a flight, I did not agree to pay 74.99 euros because no options were displayed for Opodo Prime, so the customer can choose or ignore his wishes. Everything happens behind the Opodo Process
This payment was not shown transparently during the booking and no strong customer authentication was required for this payment. The consumer can therefore only see the paid booking of a flight, but not the purchase of a paid "Opodo Prime" membership at the same time.
She also does not respond to emails or phone calls for confirmation of termination after 12 months
Don't buy from them. I booked tickets by the help of the support and they wrote a wrong name on the ticket. Solving the problem is very frustrating the support isn't helpful with solving the problem at all. They made a mistake and I don't have my money nor my tickets! They lied to me that they guarantee the refund in 2 days. Now it's not possible and no one answers me to the point. What is your Opodo company's policy for not completing their guarantees?
I booked a return flight to Italy through Opodo, and the final price on the final screen, when entering credit card details was GPB 149.62. They sent me an email confirmation within minutes, saying "Total amount paid today: GBP 149.62". When I checked my bank statement, the amount they actually took was GBP 154.97!
I wrote to them to say they made a mistake, and they replied saying it was because of the Euro exchange rate. I have to say that Euro price and exchange rate were never mentioned during the online booking and payment process. They basically stole 5 pounds from me! I know it's only 5 pounds, but stealing 5 pounds from each customer: this is how they make money!

It's an ordinary gang with a strange sounding accent. I bought a ticket from them for a flight from Europe to Chicago performed by Lufthansa Airlines. After a few hours I noticed a mistake on the date of departure. I called them to change it, citing that 24 hours had not yet passed since the time of a ticket purchase. They refused me by pleading that Lufthansa did not agree. I called Lufthansa and obtained assurance that I have the right to return the ticket or make any changes within 24 hours. They recorded it as an information at my booking. I called OPODO again but again they refused to make a flight change or cancellation. I asked for a manager conversation. My call was taken on hold for 45 minutes, but nobody picked up the phone. I called Lufthansa again and explained the situation. They changed my flight without any problems and with no charge. Because of the OPODO, I lost $ 100 on a phone call and it cost me a lot of nerves.
They failed to mention that the price contains no baggage. Adding a baggage later is a change which is possible only by phone and costs 20 Pounds. Free canceling within 14 hours is advertised during booking but it seems to be impossible to activate.

Although we tried to cancel ticket because of worsening of my partners cancer, the insurance refused to reimburse us.
Meanwhile the airline company has cancelled our flight back and cancelled our hotel, but still they don't reimburse us or even answer properly
Dangerous company that operates more as a con than a travel facilitator. Very likely they sell tickets they do not have, then upon receiving your money cancel your flight and say your money will be refunded, which may or may not happen.
They booked our round trip flight from London for our wedding in Greece... or so we thought. When we were getting ready to return home to London, we discovered that they hadn't actually booked the return flight... although we received an email confirmation and receipt that "confirmed" that they did.
They could not book our return flight at a similar price to what they had agreed upon in the email confirmation. They could only give us last-minute fares. I spent hours on the phone (on international calls) trying to find someone in their organization who would help us. No one seemed to care. They said we should have made sure that we got an e-ticket email.
Their incompetence and complete lack of accountability cost us over £600.

I tried ringing Opodo over 15 times during a the duration of a week in order to make a request to change my flights and they never once answered the phone. Each time I was left waiting on hold for over 30 minutes, and still, no one answered. They couldn't care less and I am very disappointed as they constantly neglect customers.
Very bad experience with Opodo, 3 times in a row, they are increasing the basic price requested without my approval, finally I went back to the basic service that I booked, when I see the payment transaction, the price has been increased my more than 20% without my approval. I will never work anymore with this company.
I have had a terrible experience with Opodo. I booked flights to Italy with Easyjet and they slapped on a hidden charge of nearly £40 for using a Mastercard. £40! This was not indicated in any way at the checkout, there was no indication at all, and when I rang to get some clarity was told it was 'in the small print of the conditions'. What so they could have added any amount they like just because it is 'in the small print'. How dishonourable. I wouldn't have booked the flights with Opodo if I had realised their culture had changed so much. They should show a total that includes all the amounts. I find this deceptive and question its legality. I am so disappointed as have used Opodo for years and always found them terrific but I think they are clearly rotten now.
I am telling everyone about this. I travel a lot. Am appalled and a bit shocked.
This people booked my flight in a day where there's no flight. They're forcing me to fly on different date and airport. Now they want me to fly from another airport 200km away by adding $50. Ask for refund and they said they'll refund in 120 days. This people ruined my whole trip and vacation. Fraud guys...
Absolutely terrible and still unresolved.
This is the first and last time I ever use this company. Not only was the booking process the most painful I have ever encountered, when I finally managed to progress the booking they have over charged me by over £100 and are still yet to properly make contact with me to reimburse and resolve.
They claim that the prices changed at the last minute but did not give me the chance to stop my payment... and I never would have paid that much for flights for a two night trip. I consider this fraud and I will escalate.
I recommend that no one ever uses this company again, they are appalling.
Answer: Guys, it would only cost you about £40 to take them to small claims court. Dont just take the loss, these people need to be held to account. Id also contact Rip Off Britain to get a programme made about their tactics
Answer: You can complain all you like but once they have your money they dont give a tinkers cuss. Best form of complaint is social media like this site and face book.
