Just the worst. Horrible customer service that takes forever to respond to concerns, if at all. Could not confirm my flights, but I had to contact them and wait on hold to be told instead of receiving an email or any correspondence from them.
Terrible experience. Had my flight confirmed by Opodo and once getting into the airport I was left grounded because the air company didn't have the booking confirmed
Absolutely awful, Have never experience customer services like this, After my flight was cancelled from Tokyo to Hiroshima, I contact them to rearrange my flight, everything seem ok at first, I was total it was pass on the right department and to expect an e mail, with details to rearrange the flight, I should receive with in the next 6 hours.
12 hours later called again, Was greeted by a very rude member of the team, who told me i was lying and the flight was planned to take off, even though the flight was scheduled early that day and had pass, who then cut me off,
Called back, was total it was being dealt with, it can take up to 24hours, please wait
24 hours later, Nothing, Called again,
Spoke with a gentleman, who advised me this should have not happed he will now deal with case , put me on hold, he then advise me he need to make a few phone call to get this arrange, can he call me back in 2 hours, with all the details and new flight plan,
3 hours later, Nothing, called back to which this time, I was total there was no record of the flight, I asked to speak the supervisor, who could not be found, i then asked for a refund to which i was total the refund office was busy, he then said he would get his supervisor, which he then put me on hold and cut me off.
In total i have spent over 6 hours on the line, with no flight to show for it,
They are actually breaking the law by not providing a new flight, I have asked a lawyer friend for legal advise,

I just booked a multi-city flight with Opodo yesterday and today got an mail that two of my flights cannot be confirmed and was asked to call them to solve the problem. however non of the phone numbers provided works and wherever I look, I cannot find a phone number or and mail to the customer service. Now I am afraid that I have to pay for new ticket. So stressful would not recommend
I WOULD NEVER EVER AGAIN USE OPODO
We've booked three tickets with Opodo and when all done, we've realise one of the names had an additional letter in it- we have called them again & again and still nothing got done, every time it took us around 40 minutes on the line and they asking us to call Pegasus airline again & again. When we call Pegasus, another 20 minutes on the line with Pegasus and they say they can't find any change of name by opodo and ask us to call Opodo again. It's a loop hole and wasted countless hours of our time.

Non existent Customer Service
Made booking of 2 flights through OPODO. When the tickets came through had a spurious email that was not representative of my email on only one of the tickets. Also Airlines were different on itinerary. 5 email and nearly 15 days later still no response to my request for rectification.. Not a big deal I think but indicative of the ridiculously poor service this agency offers.
I am disappointed I did not see these reviews previously. Don't walk away from this company.. RUN!
I have booked a flight from Brussels Airport Zaventem to Tunis Enfida.
A booking for 2 persons. Very simple 2:30 hours flight, direct.
We made a reservation only with hand luggage and we want to add an extra luggage of 25 kg. Again very simple request. All companies and airline booking websites offers that. But apparently not OPODO.
I called them, first they said I have to call directly the airline company. The airline company told me that we have to get back to them.
So I was talking to the OPODO operator on phone and asked her to send me an email saying that opodo cannot deliver this service and she was telling me that she sent the email and I didn't want to hang up until I see the email in my box and I waited for 15min on the phone, and no email received. After a while she hang up, and I figured out that she wanted me to hang up the first to escape the report at the end of the call where they get your opinion.
Until now, no news how to add an extra luggage.
First time and last time.
After paying a huge amount for your flight ticket - It is not possible to get any help or assistance from Opodo.
First, I have been trying to call them. Multiple times, I have waited in their line for more than one hour. No response.
Then, I decided to write them an email - but there is no email address listed on their website.
Then, I decided to contact them through facebook messenger. At first, I was really happy as an employee helped me after a few minutes with a few questions. When I told them I wanted to claim back my taxes and subcharges of my ticket price, the employee first told me that my ticket is non-refundable, and thus, I cannot get anything back once I decide to cancel my tickets. When I told them that they are legally obliged to pay back taxes and subcharges - even when the ticket is non-refundable (AirFrance, the airline I am flying with, confirmed), the employee finally agreed. He or she promised me to get back to me in 24 hours with the total amount of taxes and subcharges I could claim back if I would cancel my ticket (based on this I wanted to decide whether or not to cancel).
48 hours later, I did not receive anything from Opodo. I sent them another message through Facebook chat. When I told them about my issue, and that I did not hear anything, they immediately terminated the chat and redirected me to the chatbot. I have started more than 20 chats through messenger now, but every time the subject of claiming back the taxes comes up, they terminate the chat.
Do not make the mistake to book with Opodo - as they do not keep promises, try to mislead you and wrongfully keep your money!
It is the same kind of firm as ViaGogo! Actually All we need is "hackers"?! I lost my nerves and a lot of money because of them! Why is GOOGLE and others giving them "upgrades" at sites?! Well i know, because the money talks?!
I book through their site, they charge my card and send me a confirmation email with tickets, and then I go to take my flight and find out that the ticket has been cancelled. They first try to blame it on the airlines and say that the airlines have cancelled this ticket themselves, but then they couldn't and offer a flight the next day, and they choose the cheapest least convenient longest flight. Never use them
They increased my tickets price by two hundred and fifty pounds just a second prior to confirming the purchase . They left a note on the screen saying if I don't confirm the flight with the new price I would lose my booking. I did buy the ticket. The confirmation letter showed that Pegasus airline charged £1200 while Opodo fees was 850 pounds!

I am only giving this ap one star so I can write my review. First, I choose a specific destination to fly from out of Mallorca. I checked the destinations and date to assure everything was correct before selecting my flight. When I finalized payment, it came back confirming a different destination than I had chosen, and approved. Clearly this was a glitch on behalf of the app, a trick of changing destinations that swindle money from its users, or if not honored, needs serious attention. My flight is not for two months, but I called immediately to have this rectified. I called Opodo in London, and got an operator out of India. This man refused, REFUSED, to let me speak to a manager. He would not rectify my issue. He said I had to call the airline myself. Again, I insisted I speak to a manager. He refused again, but said he would call the airline himself. He came back and said the airline was closed. He would not issue me a refund. Again, he refused to let me speak to a manager, and then, said I had to call the airline myself. This is the SINGLE WORST THIRD PARTY SERVICE I HAVE EVER USED, and I have used them all! UNCONSCIONABLE behavior. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.
I strongly recommend staying away from this company!!
Not only that they have stolen my money and given me no car, but their customer support is really the lowest I have ever seen!
I rented a car from them in Glasgo, when I got there the car rental place was quite a long way from the airport and they had no car for me because I arrived 1 day later. So yes that is my fault, but I have rented the car for 7 days and it was fully paid!!! I asked them to give me another car they did not want to, and I ask to at least give me a discount on renting another one, not even the smallest intention from the customer service people over the phone to try to help. Basically, they were looking foreword to just cash that money from me, as the rental company has already rented the car to someone else, so they make more money like this.
If you want a company that just looks for reasons to pull money out of your pocket and devalue you as a customer go ahead!
You may pick your cart in time, but I am sure they find other reasons to be as they are.
After that, I had a high standard customer service with renacar.com, who were very kind to help me find a car and even refunded me the price of a car that I have booked without reading that they do not rent cars with people that have penalty points on the license, Their customer support staff were very nice and respectful and ran the extra mile to find me a company that will rent me a car. I didn't mind paying double the price as I have got what I needed and I have been treated with respect!!!!
Tip for consumers: Do not ever use Opodo for anything!!!

I booked a flight with Opodo, they charge me more then showed in their website, had to change the dates, and they charged more, unfortunately I have to cancel my trip for personal reasons, and I asked them for the refund, they said they will refund me 80%, in 10 days, but they didn't I contact them lots of times, they tell different stories, each time I called I waited at least 40 minutes,
their customer service is overseas, and they don't care, they don't have an email, or UK customer service,
Honestly Opodo is the worst on earth, Avoid them, simply check their feedback here or search online,
they are NIGHTMARE, I wish I have NEVER dealt with them.

I use Opodo to save money form my 2 tickets but I ended up paying way more than I can get from the airline directly or from any local agency office.
1 the 2 ticket was for 200 each, when I pressed buy it gone up in 5 minutes to 217, and I had to pay $7 support to get a confirmation email, there was no instruction about the support and if you would get an email with no support service, plus they charged in gpd or so no other option was available so I had to pay a 3.5% rate to USF
so I ended up paying instead of 400 I payed $480 so extra 80$ this never happened with Expedia and MEA
this is the worst online ticket purchase experience I ever had.

My experience with Opodo is a bad one, unfortunately.
tl;dr book directly with the airline of your choice, don't go through Opodo. Not worth the worry, not worth the booking fees, not worth the wasted time/energy, not worth a one hour wait/phone call with their helpline.
I'd bought tickets for my parents as a present, and upon purchasing them i found that it takes "up to 24 hours" to process my tickets. It rang alarm bells when after 24 hours, i still had NO confirmation on my tickets despite already having PAID for them!
I phoned their helpline, and was on hold for 50 minutes! after a hurried conversation with the person, i basically was told to wait yet ANOTHER 24 hours for processing and confirmation. Here's where it gets fishy. The Opodo person told me to wait 24 hours, and if it's still processing, they'll release my tickets to me straight away. I asked how come they can't just release my tickets to me now, what's the difference between waiting 24 hours and having them processed now? He couldn't answer me and simply said "the process might be too confusing for you to understand" !!! How patronising!
As expected, another 24 hours later (Mind you, it's now been 48 hours or more!) it still says "processing" on my booking (both on Opodo's website and mobile app). I phoned the airline directly and was told by the airline that even they wouldn't recommend Opodo. The airline person said that they would always discourage people from booking with Opodo because often times, Opodo will hoard all their bookings and release/process tickets in one go, not as and when they come in. This means that i would have had to wait at least a WEEK for my tickets without phoning to chase them! this is why so many people don't get their tickets if they book last minute and some don't get them at all!
I phoned Opodo right after speaking to the airline, and they hurriedly released all my tickets. Why couldn't they have done this before?! i fly fairly frequently and i have never experienced this with any of my ticket bookings. They are always processed IMMEDIATELY. this is the first i've heard/experienced a booking that needed so long to process. It's ridiculous!
My advice, and the airline's advice, is that instead of booking through Opodo, travellers should book directly with the airline of their choice. or just choose another service provider that's more reliable. It took me almost a week to sort my tickets out, had i booked with the airline, it would have taken me less than a day to get all my documents processed and ready to check in. thankfully i booked early. i feel horribly for all those who book with Opodo and don't get their tickets due to their "processing procedure" of accumulating bookings only to process them all at once, thus delaying everyone's ticket release. BAD experience, NEVER AGAIN!
i checked the prices and it'd been the same if not cheaper if i booked directly with the airline because Opodo has hidden fees (admin fees, booking fees, etc.) PLUS the TWO HOURS i was on the phone to them needlessly added to my phone bill as well. They're not cheaper, and even if they were, it's really not worth the hassle!
I bought a ticket from Opodo for a family member that insisted because it was a bit cheaper than the company I normally buy of. After admitting to payment , there was suddenly added 200 % to the original price of the ticket.
I called to complain and fix the mistake, I waited a long time, and than was connected to a call center in India. A very friendly person, who very obbiously was trained in talking to people who want to complain, convinced me that there was really nothing that he could do for me. I can fullfil a claimform online, and on trustpilot and other review sites I can read that 0% of all people that complain, ever got their money back.
Right now I am afraid that they have put several reservations on my card and they will take even more money of my account, while I can do nothing to stop them. I don't understand how this 'company' is still in business, and no instance has been able to stop them. They have existed for many years, and tricked money out of all their costumers.

These were totally useless. I was informed that i needed to go through my booking company to upgrade my seat. When i repeated this request around twenty-five times for the guy to understand what i was asking he stated that because the second flight was a short domestic flight it was unable to be upgraded, yet the long haul flight was what i wanted upgrading. He then said he unable to do this, even though the long haul flight had already told me they could upgrade me, but needed to come through the booking agent. Over one hour later, and my son trying to explain my requirement, i ended up with not getting any assistance to rectify this at all. Will ensure these are never my travel company again

I rang them 10mins later and they said the Hotel was non refundable even though it said free cancelations (see pic) and they flights would have to be cancelled and rebooked which cost me £900

UK based company hiding behind an Indian call centre.
I booked a economy flight to Neapel a few weeks ago. According to the information provided during the booking as well the information PRESENT in my order/booking confirmation from Opodo, I was allowed to take a bag with some xxxx dimension per person on board.
Fast check by Condor(air carrier ) later showed that the rules for the allowed package on board are quite different that provided by Opodo. I had to buy additional luggage just because I was mislead by Opodo what is allowed on board. I tried to contact Opodo - no way, they have no customer service at all, just a few phone numbers without answer or after 10 min waiting a guy from India answer and start to apologies for that and explaining that this is not related to his department. I opened a few cases, no answer,no any attention and care for the customers.
Opodo is absolutely no reliable and misleading platform. If you have luck - ok. If not - forget about your money

Tried to add luggage, the site said there was an error so the payment didnt go through, tried again on my partners booking for the luggage and same error happened. 3 days later 2 charges appear on my credit card. I ring customer services, they refuse to refund, I ask to speak to Team Leader, they refused twice, I asked for an email to email to and they refused to supply one saying they would send me an email with the replyto details and case number. The email they sent me had no details, just a "we are unable to assist you further". This Company is a joke and treats customers with contempt. Really appalled!
Despite giving information several times to get a refund of a cancelled booking and promises to pay within 72 hours, within 7 days etc nothing happens.
Call centre is appalling and we will never use this rotten company ever again.
I would not give them 1 star- minus 5 stars is appropriate.

Do NOT use this company!! You will lose your money and possibly your trip!! Book directly with the airline - if you need to make a change, you must call them at 2 euros per minute with an hour wait EASILY!! It is truly A SCAM.

Guys, it would only cost you about £40 to take them to small claims court. Dont just take the loss, these people need to be held to account. Id also contact Rip Off Britain to get a programme made about their tactics
