TERRIBLE. Do not book through them. A flight was cancelled due to covid ans they are trying to refuse me my refund. The customer service sounds good on the phone, and then they say their "team" will call you back—they don't call back! SCAM.
Worst experience ever, booking a short break. Wrong date issued to me. Then said that is would take 72 hours to change. 72 hours later, nothing! Asked for refund, said hotel costs were non refundable, even though I had full insurance cover. Then said I could claim 80% back, less their charges (ongoing). Steer clear of these cowboys.
They are only good until they take your money. After that, god help if you have an issue. In my case the airline company made a change on the schedule, and speaking to customer service of Opodo was almost impossible, despite waiting over half an hour on queue.
The automated system goes to a loop, thee line cuts while you wait. Even after waiting 45 minutes, there is no guarantee that you will ever be helped.
Don't waste your time with them, especially if you value your hard earned money.
Just the worst. Horrible customer service that takes forever to respond to concerns, if at all. Could not confirm my flights, but I had to contact them and wait on hold to be told instead of receiving an email or any correspondence from them.
Dont book your ticket on opodo ever! Customer service is crap and unreliable! Waited an hour and a half to get through someone and once you got connected they pretended they couldnt hear you! Called 4 times with the same issue but no one was able to solve it! For Christ sake! Dont bother booking on here.
Opodo really have one of the worst services I have ever came across. Booked flights with them and received confirmation of completely different flight times from what we requested. Eight weeks on and they have just confirmed that here was no way their system made an error with our flight "dates", so have just proven that they haven't even read our complaint properly. Shocking service. Don't do it people, spend a few extra pounds and go with a reputable company.
God forbid you ever have to make any changes due to an incorrect or misspelled name. Brace yourself for Indian call centres with communication problems, hours and hours of waiting on the phone (seriously hours!), transfer after transfer because nobody can actually help you and just hands you over to the next colleague (I must have talked to the whole company by now) and then you pay extra for this "service". Nice... just that it's NOT
Only upside is that everybody was very polite. They have no idea what they are doing, but they do it with a smile.

They take my money and never received the tickets. No support. Thiefs! Stay away! This b... s must be blocked to operate anymore by the authorities! Sue them immediately because there is no way to talk with them if you have a claim.
NEVER NEVER book with opodo. The biggest scammers out there. I have been trying to get my refund since December 2020. The airline also confirmed to both me and opodo that the money was refunded via charge back as early as September 2020. After a lot of chats, emails they just keep pushing and don't pay back. You will be sent from pillar to post. Also not available by phone. They don't solve anything. Outrageous company.
Despite giving information several times to get a refund of a cancelled booking and promises to pay within 72 hours, within 7 days etc nothing happens.
Call centre is appalling and we will never use this rotten company ever again.
I would not give them 1 star- minus 5 stars is appropriate.

Never use this company I am 75 years old and by online trickery they charged me almost double the cost of booking direct with the airline for a domestic flight same day. The so called customer service staff then give you the run around absolutely heartless and dishonest. They are a disgrace.
The staff are unprofessional, and dont know what they are doing. They tell you one thing and then do another and if you want to make any changes, its cheaper to buy a new ticked... May God help anyone using this company. I will never book through them again.

Misleading flight prices pull you in, credit card gets charged, and no tickets issued.
Fortunately I was not one of those who turned up at the airport to find out that there was not a reservation, I discovered this prior to my flight (supposed flight). Customer service is a total joke, trying to get through to them for an explanation of what was going on took about three hours on the phone. Eventually did get my money refunded but with absolutely no explanation of why I had been conned like this. Avoid this company at all costs. I cannot imagine just how name disappointed travellers there are out there who have fallen victim to this company. One star is one star too high.

Absolutely vile service. They booked one-way flight instead of two-ways, the second flight is still 'pending' - while I cannot cancel the outbound flight without 25 pounds cancellation fee! Plus an 18 pound 'service charge' which was NEVER mentioned on the flight price until you put in the card details. Disgusting and appalling. Never ever deal with these people if you can avoid it.
Booked through Opodo and a connecting flight has been cancelled.
There is no way to get through to them.
Calling to UK and waiting several times more than 30 minutes can be quite expensive, plus that all of the operators which have clear Indian accent are rude, useless as they tend to have a sudden drop of hearing loss.

Horrible customer service! Asked for a VAT invoice online at the time of buying the flight tickets, they sent me the wrong one. Now, I've been trying to get the correct VAT receipt for 2 weeks, applied for one on the website 4 times, got the confirmation email saying it's on its way, phoned them many times, spoke to supervisor, I was promised that it'd be sent in 30 mins, still waiting to receive it. Absolutely incompetent customer service reps promising the world but delivering very little in reality. Disappointed!

Do not use this company. I tried to book flights online through their German site on 15 Jan and the transactions twice fell over at the last stage, without me receiving any booking number. When I got my credit card statement I discovered they had run two sets of debits and credits through my account at a cost to me of NZ$40.74 (due to processing and currency conversions). When I contacted their customer service department they stated they had never made the transactions, in spite of the evidence, then blacklisted my IP number as spam so that I could not pursue the matter further. They have been reported to my bank for fraud.
Below is the email I got at the beginning of May from Opodo regarding the refund I was due to receive for a cancelled flight back in JANUARY! Still no refund.
If you have any sense at all, do not book a flight through Opodo. They are a complete waste of space...

They're a scam! Don't be tempted. You'll get their "free month" membership plan, but really, they charge you for the entire year in advance and refuse to refund upon cancellation. They will however cancel your membership - without a refund. Not worth it, big scam. Stay away.
I both a ticket from Kuala Lumpur to Phuket. Everything went perfect until I was trying to check it at the airport. They sold me ticket for different flight. No possibility to make a claim. Customer service pretending to do something. Business address virtual. Only sales is functioning. Online scam!
Answer: Guys, it would only cost you about £40 to take them to small claims court. Dont just take the loss, these people need to be held to account. Id also contact Rip Off Britain to get a programme made about their tactics
Answer: You can complain all you like but once they have your money they dont give a tinkers cuss. Best form of complaint is social media like this site and face book.
