We booked and paid $303 for a flight from Louisville KY to Richmond VA on 3/21. Immediately after the 24-hour refund period, we received an email stating CheapOAir could not honor the $303 ticket price (that we already paid) and our new ticket price would be well over $700. That's more than double what we purchased and paid online. When we called, they said that it's all in the fine print and no refunds are given. So basically, CheapOAir is offering FAKE extremely low fares, taking payments for the fares, waiting until after your 24 hour full refund period, then emailing that they can't honor the fare purchased and we would have to pay the $700+. Clearly a SCAM. Most people will go ahead and pay the additional ticket cost since their initial money is tied up with them and non-refundable. Additionally, customer service is outsourced and you will be unable to understand what they are saying, adding to the frustration. SCAM SCAM SCAM - DON'T EVER DO BUSINESS WITH CHEAPOAIR!
Please prevent yourself from being robbed for this fac*king 3rd party air flight's booking company. They made me pay practically twice ( $2,900 USD) a booking price. I tried to cancelled in advance before my trip one of the two bookings charged, but their policy cancelations are made to steal customers money legally, if try to call Custumer Service they start trasferinng you with different people and none knows anything leaving you on hold for so long. In fact, they're schammers. Unfortunately, there isn't a choice to rate CheapOair with a "0"
You claim the lowest airfares and you do deliver. My only complaint is that app sometimes does not show upcoming trips. I would like to not have to go to the airlines web page. That why I use you. Overall I'm happy with you
It was good. I like that the different prices were explained in detail. For the inexperienced customer the jolt you feel is lessened with the understanding that the agent is making you understand what you're purchasing
Easy searching for best flight & time, but I wish the itinerary comes in the email had one click & page of flight info. Right now, seems I am having to answer surveys & access other pages & not convenient.
Once i selected my flight i just want to pay for it and be done. It takes several minutes to say I don't want to select seats, i don't want to pay for baggage, i don't want to book a hotel, i don't want to rent a car, i don't want to schedule a pick-up...it is ridiculous that i can't just pay and be done. With this process i am more likely to use another provider to find a place that is less of a hassle
Customer support is wavering when requesting changes and even today I was being given different prices much higher when speaking with customer service rather than booking on my own
When I had trouble with my credit card, I was notified by you as to the issue. My cc issues were resolved and in a chat you asked whether I wanted to add the outstanding seat and travel insurance fee. I said no. It was deducted anyway. It was no big deal, but it seemed that one hand didn't know what the other was doing.
It's good thank you. However it was impossible to obtain e-tickets. Everything had to be done in person at the airline counter. Big line ups & very much time consuming.

If I'm booking a flight with my experience and everything I would like that it maintain that I'm not being called because I'm looking at my flight baggage everything and when I get called and try to get an upgrade phone call it's kind of irritating at the point in time if I wanted an upgrade I would ask for it but this experience was better than the last

I traveled using Cheapoair for the past 10 years. This is a very reliable travel agency. Once I had to change my flight 24 hours in advance and they changed it without any fees. I would highly recommend this travel agency.
Flying to Baton Rouge was pleasant the staff was very professional. My wife has suffered a stroke and I've had a recent heart procedure seating and the transportation porter is very healthy
I originally had gone through another company even though I had used CheapO air before and was very satisfied with them. Big Mistake! I now feel much more comfortable with my reservations and the added available options. I definitely learned my lesson. I will continue to book with this quality company from here on.

Answer: I would not use Cheapo under any circumstances. Look at the 698 (!) complaints at the Better Business Bureau website. They hide under the name Fareportal, which is the parent company.
Answer: Don't use them. Book through the airline. I paid to select my seats, then a week before my flight they put me and my companion in the middle seats in different rows!
Answer: Security may not be an issue but they can cheat you by hiding information you should know. I would suggest to not use them and their customer service personnel are also worst I have ever seen.
