Bought a pair of sun glasses from Nordstrom last week. Because of the nose pads was not comfortable so I brought it back to exchange. Instead of asking me what they can do for me, 2 sales lady are busy to check my receipt and the credit card have used. After I told them I just want the nose pad to be readjusted, one sales lady ajusted nose pad once but still not comfortable, then she told me "idon't know what you want, this frame is large size so is heavy, there is nothing I can do." She let me speechless! Before assigned her to designated areas, does Nordstrom give any kind of training on their products to employees?
My daughter & I love to shop for Ivanka Trump shoes at Nordstroms. But since your store has decided to make a biased political statement, we won't be shopping there anymore. It's a low blow to punish her because she's the daughter of the President you don't want.
I use this site to purchase gift certificates for my sister. Nordstrom is one of her favorite places to get shoes, and with a gift certificate, she can get what she pleases. Ordering doesn't call for registration (which is nice, for a change), and delivery is prompt.
Have had bad experience with online shopping before.
But I bumped into this site and found some nice looking gents costumes.
Ordered for a pair for my fiancé on his birthday and that has left a lasting impression.

I purchased the dress for my daughter winter dance. They keep sending me damage dress. 4 times sending the dress back to a different Nordstroms. I don't understand why they don't check before they ship out the merchandise. To even exchange the dress they have to keep charging my card for another dress until they gotten the return. That was ridiculous!
I am extremely disappointed with Nordstrom. I ordered my mother a coat for her 74th birthday and paid for 2 day delivery. Although I received a confirmation that the order was confirmed it still has not been delivered after 5 days. My siblings and I planned and saved for a special present. All the service person could do was say "I'm truly sorry but it ships from a 3rd party so we are unsure why it was not delivered on time." I would like to ask anyone reading this to please defer from ordering on line from Nordstrom. My Mom is a very nice older lady and this was extremely disappointing.
Worst customer service on the phone and online. I bought a coat fro almost $300.5 minutes later I got an email saying they were sorry, the coat wasn't in stock anymore. They said my credit card wasn't charge. Days later I checked my bank account and found out they had my money on hold and it takes up to 5 days for them to put back on my account. Why do they hold my money if they know the coat wasn't in stock and I'm not getting it. I called customer service. They were very rude over the phone. This is the last time I buy from Nordstrom.
What is more perfect that getting FREE S&H on EVERY thing you want mail ordered, no matter if it is $1 or $1,000,000.
NO other business I have come across offers this amazing customer service.
Nordstrom carries high quality clothing, makeup lines, all designers and I just adore the variety of high-quality product lines, sales, and customer service! :)
I got absolutely great service from the Nordstrom Flagship store during my shopping visit to the store in july 2022. The merchandise in the mens section was truly terrific. A lot of stuff i would never find in my base in London. All the staff in menswear were very courteous and professional. Quite unusual for big NY stores who seem to have very little time for customers, especially foreign ones. I must mention Lauren Hlavaty the store manager. He was exceptional. I bought a shirt and it was altered by him as promised within 30mins and i was on my way. Excellent finish as well. All with a big smile and total commitment to the customer.
I shall be back shopping there again soon.

I bought a skirt; at home I put it on fell and tore out the zipper. Called them said I would want their seamstress to fix it. They fixed it without cost. Knowing I tore it at home. Cannot go wrong with Nordstrom ever!
It really shocked me when I went into Nordstrom Mission Viejo. I wanted to buy a sport coat, shirt, shoes. Absolutely no one paid attention to me. They just walked by offering no help. What's happening to customer service now days. I walked out.
I ordered several items from the Anniversary Sale (pre-sale, open only to Nordstrom cardholders) so was extremely surprised to find they were ALL backordered. Why the heck put something on sale that you don't even have? After 3 weeks no correspondence from the company other than an email saying one item was no longer available. I had to call twice to find out the status only to find out they still weren't being shipped 18 days later. Said phone call involved several minutes on hold, just to cancel the order, so I won't be ordering from Nordstrom.com again.
I remember when Nordstrom first opened here in San Diego and how they were famous for the customer service, after so many years I am happy to say that they are still the same. Their products are superb and the customer service is the best, I love to shop on line and they make it so easy, their website is very easy to navigate and of course having the free shipping and no questions returns is a plus. Everybody should be a Nordy, you won't regret it.
One of my go-to stores. I have shopped with nordies for eveah! The only thing I wish they'd change is their shipping takes a long time. They need to use the US Postal Service, they are so fast but all in all I love this store and their customer service stellar.
I am closing my account. I spend 4 to 5k per year at Nordstroms. Apparently Nordstroms only wants to sell it's products to the half of the population who agree with their politics. I for one, feel it is a good thing that we all have different opinions and I respect others different views. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
I am not sure what has happened to Nordstrom, their customer service is normally excellent, but their current stance has me concerned about the future of online shopping and trust. They are using a carrier with low rated reviews and there are many upset customers, myself included who are going through the same thing, this holiday season. I didn't receive this package although it said it was delivered on 12/18 and after calling and several chats, I was told that it was being investigated. They told me I would have an answer by 12/29 and was then told I had fallen through the cracks on 12/30 and it would take 3 business days for an answer on my refund. Then came an abrupt email on 12/31/2020. I wouldn't be getting a refund.
I have now reported this to the bbb and willl have to file a police report and demand proof of delivery. Of course I will never purchase from them again.
The whole thing has been distressing and I would advise choosing a more reliable company for online shopping.
This company is the best at customer service both in the store and on the web. They have a reputation and seem to never fail at taking care of clients. Will use them and refer others to them. Their quality is excellent, a little on the high side of prices, but their return policy is excellent and easy.
I ordered Brown Leather Jacket that i saw on Nordstrom's web site. I got wrong jacket 3 times. 2 times I got black leather jacket that don't have a collar, and the last one brown jacket without collar. I called many times asking them to making a correction and send me the exact item that is posted on the advertisement on their website. The mistake was not corrected 3 times no one tool owner ownership of the situation. My expectation of Nordstrom was higher standard, but this showed me failure of service. Please post right commercial on your website this was below my expectstion.
Bought a Nike Tech coat and was to big. Called to return for a smaller size and they don't do exchanges. So the coat now is 40.00 more. What a rip off.

Answer: I have bought a fair number of designer handbags and sunglasses from Nordstrom. In all cases (depending on designer) the handbags were marked inside by the designer, where the item was made, usually a serial number and often a certificate of authenticity. This is especially true of the couture items i. E. Prada, Yves St. Laurent, etc. I have never questioned an items authenticity that I purchased from Nordstroms. They are way too big to risk their rep on fakes.
