Absolutely the worst web company have ever done experience with in regards to returns. Was sent the wrong item. Attempts to send back are made exceedingly difficult with multiple pages, repeating same requested information. It is with out a doubt intentionally design to frustrate the consumer with the aim they finally give up. I was also direct to use their online chat because of some special situation regarding my order. Ok, no problem, but when attempted to follow their directions was once again challenged by saying I would have to wait for next available customer service rep which was going to be 33 minutes. I didn't want to talk to anyone in first place. Finally got RMA return number, but no promised prepaid shipping label. I'll be damned if I will pay for cost to return something when it was their mistake. All I can say is forwarned if you take a chance and do business with these scammers.

Typically I've had good experience but 2 times in a row now is enough for me to not continue to do business with them. They spam your email with supposed deals, often twice daily, making it near impossible to determine when is the right to buy an item. You then trust that they will not continue to undercut their own pricing within the same month but they do and then cite the loopholes in their PriceMatch policy. Warning! Expect to feel ripped off as they continue to lower the prices on your major purchase and fail to understand the customer's aggravation and feelings of betrayal. Bottom line... they got your money and don't care about keeping customers. I purchased a PC and 18 days later they offered the same item for $200 less! Wouldn't budge on adjusting the price and didn't give a rat's butt since soon after the product was sold out. Company has really gone downhill! Stay Away!

Good prices, shipping rates. If you end up getting your $600 processor shipped and absolutely crushed you can expect a convo where a rep lies about having your items processed for reshipping and instead receive a refund a week later. Especially an inconvenience with a new credit card in which time limitations for bonuses complicate issues, and business relies on your shipment. To be fair the first rep offered me $10 credit which I never received. The last offered me $15 and let's see if that's real. Even if so, its far not worth all of the trouble and TIME spent waiting dealing with customer support, and wasted time waiting for nothing. All because their shipping department didn't want to use more than 1 sheet of bubble wrap.

First, the good. Newegg has delivered computer parts to my son and that worked. I ordered a cabinet/tool storage on the premise that they were a consumer friendly site. Couldn't be further from the truth. The cabinet arrived banged up. And a consumer could only find it useful under very rarified circumstances. I vigorously pursued returned it but any access to the company, email, chat, etc. turns into a circle. There is no access to help with a return. The company has it rigged so that you can return an item via UPS but you will receive almost no refund after doing a lot of work! They did generate pre-formulated responses repeating the same information.

If you can order from Amazon, do that instead. They offer customer service!

Their customer service was good two years ago. Today, I was treated like crap: hung up on during a phone call and ignored in live chat.

My problem: I had a hard drive fail and was told that the "service net replacement plan" I paid for wouldn't replace the item.

They scam you into purchasing replacement plans that have loopholes for everything. I shouldn't be surprised though... the plan has a limitation of coverage for defects due to "acts of God." Seriously?!?!

Avoid newegg if you're the type of person who wants their coverage plans to be well worth the extra money.

Damn scammers.

This used to be my husband's go-to site for his tech toys. But lately he has been relectant to buy from here because their prices are no longer competitive and they have added a bunch of stuffs that are not tech/computer related.

We also had one issue that was still sour in our mouths. My husband bought a wrong product by mistake and wanted to return but it was hard to get it touch with them and the customer service wasn't very helpful on when they will return the money. We had to wait over a month for the refund process to be completed.

SInce I can't seem to edit my review. Here is my update.

I was contacted the next day after I posted my review on another site.
I was given a time restricted opportunity window to accept the deal.
I took the deal and purchased the monitor at full price. Then was given a refund of the difference of my discounted price. I was also offered free 3 day shipping.

Overall I'm happy that they were willing to give me my replacement monitor for the price I purchased for.
But the amount time I wasted and frustration dealt with the customer service prior was terrible.
It took too much effort to deal with this return/replacement process...

Purchased an ergonomic keyboard for my PC, and they gave me a good price, good service, overall happy.
Friend of mine introduced me to Newegg. Glad to be able to shop there. Bought a laptop there, never a problem.

Wired wrong
September 24, 2022

I heard about Newegg and thought to try it out. The only positive thing I can say is that my monitor arrived in 4 days and my tower in 5. Was all excited to set up my gaming system to find out that the tower wouldn't come on. Had my sons over looking at it and finally after 3 crazy hours realized that it wasn't even wired correctly. I think if you're going to pay these prices, at least make sure you have your people wire them correctly. Makes on very skeptical of reordering anything!

I bought a battery for my laptop 15 days ago and they said I will get my battery within 5-7 business days and I just tracked it and it showing coming May 7th. Only contact I had was a robot that I waited 25 min for. I asked for a refund and they told me I have to pay 16$ to return something I never got. I bought same product Tuesday from Amazon and I received it Friday. They are abusing the customers. Please don't buy from them well worth 2 or 5$ more from other vendors.

Actually, the site has a pretty good selection of products at a fair price. Their house brand products "Rosewill" can be a little on the junky side, so I recommend sticking with the well known items and you should be fine.

So I ordered several electronic parts and the shipping was all over the place. 6 items from 5 different locations ranging from 5 to 11 days before I receive my complete order. A few years ago NewEgg was rock solid on their free "eggsaver" 3 day shipping. I guess that's behind a paywall now through their amazon prime like service. It's a shame that you have to be a member of anything to get decent shipping times. This site fast response and polite customer service but Amazon has that too and fast shipping. I hope you stay relevant enough to compete NewEgg.

Good Service, yet slow

Its a great website for any one who looks for a great deals of computers, and the prices are really nice its never go above the original price for each item, but they are slow in term of processing orders and shipping, and they don't accept international visa cards.

NewEgg Business would not do anything to help me get my product from a vendor after I waited 23 days for the order to arrive! I contacted the vendor twice and then I contacted NewEgg and they said they would not help me because the product was (supposedly) shipped from a third party vendor. They charged my credit card 20 days ago and I still don't have my order. Thanks for all the help, NewEgg.

We ordered a gaming PC and once it was delivered and setup, we realized the graphics card was not working., We contacted Newegg and they gave us the information to send it back. After they received the product, they informed us the return box was damaged and they would not fix nor replace the gaming PC. I would value your time and find a more reputable company to order from in the future. If you have any questions or want to verify this review, please call me at *******236 (Casey). I am currently in the process of reporting this as fraud to USA.GOV, BBB of City of Industry and the chamber of commerce. I will also look into reporting this as fraud to my credit card and let their legal team handle it as well.

Newegg has tons of products and a large variety. I have ordered many parts for my computer on this site as it often has the things I am looking for. The prices are not always the best for I am willing to pay a little extra for the service and reliability.

Every time I have ordered from them they have shipped insanely fast.
One time I received an order next day, and i'm in Massachusetts and the package was coming from NJ so i'm not even sure how they did it :).
They have great selection of computer gear - the first place I look if I'm building a computer.
