I've ordered things from other companies out of China before, but this one sucks! Don't do it
Luckily you can call your credit card company and deny payment. Paypal is also good about getting your money back.
Charged me for shoes as well as an "ATM fee" (which says on my online banking newchic.com - my bank doesn't charge ATM fees). After I cancelled my order due to item being back ordered, they refunded the main amount but not the bogus fee. Took 2 weeks to get email from customer service and it is obviously not written by someone who knows much English. Very frustrating experience

I ordered 6 purple backpacks to serve as the invitation to my daughter's 13th birthday party at Disneyland (I thought that would be a good way to notice them in the park). The backpacks were sent to each girl with the written invitation included inside. I also ordered personalized name tags. Each girl had their backpack in CA Adventure and Disneyland. By day 2,3 of the backpacks had ripped apart and were no longer usable. I reached out to NewChic via live chat with Joyce and despite sending 3 photos showing the defective/damaged product, she refused to do anything to rectify the situation except send me 200 bonus points. The idea/concept was adorable and they looked great before use. The correct thing to do would have been to issue a replacement or refund. They did neither. I will never order another product from this company. Buyer Beware!

Ordered two pair of shoes on 11/9/17. Did not receive email notification conforming sale. Finally, today 11/29/17, I was notified order had been shipped. Tracking No. Very confusing. I will never deal with these creeps again. One slow boat from China!

I ordered some shoes but unfortunately they didn't fit. After contacting customer service they dealt with the problem very quickly and arranged for a bigger size to be delivered to me at no extra charge. Would definitely recommend using this company.
After 2 months, still I'm waiting for my NewChic.com order. Even I have talk through Live Chat with them and they did not give us any reasonable response to our claim!

I ordered 6 shoe loafers (shoes without lace) on 09/17/22. This package was shipped from Hong Kong by air plan. I thought it must be delivered at least 10 days as usual. Before you order anything from NewChic, know that the costs of returning items is expensive... regardless of reason. I. e., poor quality of material, workmanship, miss-sized, etc. All returns are sent to China. The cheapest method (2 week transit time with no true verifiable tracking) to return a very lightweight package was $35!

This item was ordered over a month ago and has yet to be received. Shipping information says they are using FedEx but FedEx says my tracking number is invalid. Looks like I am one of many. Buyers beware.

I think there should be a reminder to buyers to double check the size given the difference in North American sizing

I did wonder where my goods were, I had not clocked that they were coming from overseas (you know what internet shopping is like!). My email was answered within 24 hours and the items are very good quality. :)
In reading reviews, I noticed how many consumers were surprised to understand after they placed their order that this company was located in China. Do some investigation so you know what to expect! ANYTHING coming from China is going to require additional ship time due to customs. I ordered a pair of those highly-advertised rain shoes in November. I knew to order two sizes up. I covered them with additional tracking, but that information was lost in some kind of system glitch. They eventually arrived yesterday. They fit OK, which I'm fine with because they are mostly for rainy days. I appreciated the constant contact and swift replies to my emails. The price point was appropriate.
Received a product that was scratched and damaged. They offered x amount of money back as good will. Better than nothing. Most they can do was partial refund which almost covered the delivery charge. Will be a while or never if I ever order from them again. Dissatisfied with product but Customer service was par.

It's been a month since I ordered (July 4) a back pack and I just got off the customer service site and all they could say was wait 2 more weeks. If you order regular shipping they provide no way to track shipment according to Rebecca (probably not her real name). Very poor. I realized they were overseas but I order auto parts regularly from Japan and get shipping info and prompt delivery. So sad. Guess I can kiss my money goodbye. Never again. And neither should you.

I ordered a pair of leather and mesh loafers and when received, the "leather" looked more like recycled plastic grocery bags. After several back and forth emails including pictures I had to take, they "decided" that there was no quality problem and refused to offer a refund upon return--even though their return policy on they website said they would do so. Total rip off.

Since discovering NewChic, I've placed several orders. Their stock offers unique and quality items I've found no where else. While it can take time to get to me, all orders have been worth the wait. Two minor issues with two separate orders were resolved quickly and courteously. Can't say enough about this company except thank you.
Have seen this a few times in the reviews and wish I would've checked newchic out prior to ordering..."They lie by saying they made a mistake and sent it by regular shipping" This exact situation happened to me also. Ordered boots mid Nov and my boots were supposedly sent Nov 30. Was to take 15-17 days. Well its Jan 1st still have not received them. The package can only be tracked before it makes it to the USA. Horrible tracking system! I have complained and and once again they say track it (which is impossible) or just WAIT due to the holidays. Will never order from them again. Will post if I ever receive them... but don't hold your breath

I saw an ad on FB for shoes. They are exactly as pictured darling! I get lots of compliments and have 2 pair. Also ordered a jumper and blouse. There was a long wait for them but I got quick, courteous replies when I asked about the order and pieces arrived shortly after. Answer: A friend from Reading placed an order 14 weeks ago. Total cost was 21 GBP. He contacted NewChic about his order 5 times. Their standard answer (WAIT FEW MORE DAYS). Eventually he gave up and lost the 21GBP. If you have extra money that you want to throw away, NewChic is the way to go. They will take your money; send you nothing and tell you (we are sorry. We will fix situation). But they do nothing

Not which is shown and not "workable" as a purse. Communications with the company for returns result in frustration. The first statement is "you will be responsible to return this to China and it is very expensive. Do you want to proceed?" The address they gave is incomplete and does not come up on Google maps.
