Sadly I purchased a carpet cleaning voucher from Tippr that turned out to be worthless and I have lost $55. Turns out I am not in the service area but I had no way to know that. If I could give them less than 1 star I certainly would.
As everyone says they are a con. I bought a massage voucher in good faith valid 3 months. Phoned to book a month before and only 9am appointments left. Nothing in small print to warn you and they refused a refund. What a joke! Waste of money. They don't give a $#*! about checking out the people the advertise deals for!
This is a terrible site. I purchased a product 3 months ago and never received it. When I emailed to complain, I received emails saying that she will reach out to the merchant and that I should receive a response shortly. After 3 weeks of this, I have not gotten an adequate response, nor my product, just the same response, I'm sorry you are not satisfied, I will reach out to the merchant..." I will never purchase products from them, again!
I bought a voucher through tippr.com and after a month later, I was told that the they refused to pay the company that is supposed to ship my items. They are a scam. Stick to Groupon and Livingsocial as these guys don't know customer service or follow through their part of the deal.
I purchased several tablets from ncrowd for my childcare center. The items were cheap looking and did not work. I asked for a refund and could only get a credit. I will advise no one to buy from them.
Had a problem with a shipment that was delayed. Contacted customer service and they got my merchandise on the way to me quickly. Have dealt with this company for several years and am very satisfied with the service provided.
It's nice to know that great customer service has not disappeared. My order was not received in the allotted time so I sent a message asking for help. Their agent was was quick to respond to my initial inquiry and others to resolve my problem. She was professional and helpful. I definitely will order again.
I have used Eversave (ncrowd.com) twice and they failed both times in getting my order straight. I emailed them a week and no response. I emailed them again. Response, "It's on a first come basis. There were others ahead of you". Great.
I have purchased a couple of deals from Tippr. The first was an item that the company ran out of, then took months to resolve. Two weeks after receipt of the item, it broke-it was not worth the dollar amount given on the deal.
The second deal was a secret Santa box that was $27 and allegedly worth $100. Granted I took a chance ordering this but thought it would be fun. What a joke. There was a "pearl" necklace and earrings that had a price attached to them ($1.99!), plastic crap made in China. There were 3 writing pens, one a breast cancer awareness pen that was most likely a freebie. A $5 strapless sundress that one can purchase from any tourist spot for $5 and the kicker was an inflatable Rasta hat. Seriously? This is all junk from a dollar store that was most likely going to be thrown out in the trash! This "deal" wasn't even worth the $27 dollars that it cost! Shame on me, never again!
Please, please, please stay away from this company!
I purchased a phone case last April... It was delivered, broken... I returned it the next day. Even though I have a tracking number and did everything exactly as I was directed to in the return, they won't issue me a credit. I have spent a lot of time & sent many emails trying to resolve this issue but they won't give my money back. I should have kept the broken case - at least then I wouldn't be out the money I spent on postage to return it. Less
This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They take your money but do not send the product. I checked the tracking number and I was told that the product is still at the company, even though it was supposed to be send on May 23,2014. I have called and e-mailed and they are totally unresponsive. I will now have to go through my bank to get my money back and to the Better Business Bureau to let them know about this business.
I have $103 dollars on account and they will not honour it. It is the same company as Teambuy, changed the name and everyone is out money. I have been corresponding with them since December. They don't care. BEWARE! Terrible company. Go with Living Social or Groupon.
I believe that this company is a complete scam. I ordered the Children's Tablet and it is
Complete junk. They are certainly a pro at false advertising. Around the same time I ordered smartphone wallets that never arrived. They gave me an invalid tracking number and are
Willing to take no responsibility.
Your company is scam! I will report it to police

I ordered the Elsa and Anna doll for $24. I figure they aren't Disney store quality but they would be nice enough. I've seen the $9.99 ones at Target and they look and feel like Barbies. I ordered in October and just got the dolls Dec 9,2014. They came wrapped up in plastic and tape from China. The dolls are plastic and looks like they are from the dollar store. Ncrowd does not have any quality assurance of the products or companies they put on their service. I am going to return this costing me more for postage than what these dolls are worth. I'm sure they are just hoping people won't take the time to return.
This is the second time I've had issues with ncrowd so I would recommend not using them. The first time I never got my items and it took two years to get an ncrowd voucher.
I made my first purchase late this summer and never received the product. I was given a credit and a small bonus as compensation. Fortunately I was only out of pocket $15.00. I used the credit for a second purchase and to date have not received the product. In response to my email asking for help this is in large part the response I got:

Bye bye money.
Stay away from this company whatever it's name is.
My story is the same as the majority of the reviews. I purchased a restaurant voucher and learned within one month that the restaurant was no longer in business. I was quickly given a credit from nCrowd, but when I went to use the credit, nCrowd was out of business and BoomStreet "acquired the names and database from nCrowd." BoomStreet refused to refund the money I lost. In the meantime, I found out that BoomStreet is selling vouchers to Ranch Bowl in Kansas. I called the local owner and he does NOT have a contract with BoomStreet and would NOT honor vouchers purchased from BoomStreet. These companies are TOTAL SCAMS! Do NOT honor their dishonesty!
Shocking Customer Service! Purchased an item, voucher came, proceeded via Seller's website and could not 'fulfil' the order, after attempting to fulfil this order on numerous occassions I resorted to requesting a refund for the voucher, as yet I have heard nothing, Two days ago I have threatened to take this further and have give them five days... will keep you posted!
I have purchased several items with nCrowd. However, for the first time, I had an issue with a product and contacted their customer service. Rather then argue with me and find a way to keep me UNsatisfied, their staff responded quickly and with resolution. I look forward to my next and ongoing purchases - thanks nCrowd!
I wrote them to ask about my missing $67 credit (mind you this was not a loyalty credit - but rather my hard earned money that I paid for a voucher on a company's service that was no longer in business) They wrote me back that they could do nothing about it. This is a complete scam and I want my money back!
Answer: They are still in scamming business - yes - they sell, but do not ship anything! Do not buy
Answer: No bankrupt. Just name change scam. They do this just about every year when they screw people... they just change their name. We are working on looking into getting them involved in the Federal Trade Commission here in the United States. What have you got over there? Some sort of government organisation?
Answer: Contact the Retail Ombudsman. This is a new service and you can lodge your complaint with them online. If you paid for your items by credit card you should be able to claim the monies back via your card provider. Hope this helps.
Answer: As others have suggested here, ask your credit card company for a chargeback as soon as possible. Explain to your cc company that nCrowd is now in foreclosure and isn't selling any more goods or services. Therefore, any unused store credit or vouchers are now useless. I wouldn't bother to wait for nCrowd to resume selling deals again. You could also send your cc company the information about the foreclosure (see the link below) to support your claim. Also, your cc company will likely request proof (e.g., emails with the merchants or the names of the merchants you have spoken to on the phone) that the merchants were unwilling to honor the vouchers. I was able to get a chargeback by doing the above. Perhaps you could ask PayPal for assistance if you used it to purchase the nCrowd deal. https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/ncrowd-forecloses-leaves-trail-bad-taste-albert-s-bitton
Answer: Did you use a credit card to purchase?
Answer: Hi, My name is Carl and I'm a manager with nCrowd. I'm so sorry for the trouble you've experienced with your recent purchase. Please email me at carl@ncrowd.com with as many details as you can provide about your purchase so I may look into the matter further. Thank you!
Answer: When I got the shaft from this company, I complained to the Better Business Bureau, and asked my state's Attorney General for help. Then nCrowd responded quickly.
Answer: Dear Kath, NCrowd went bankrupt and were taken over (or renamed themselves) BoomStreet. Boomstreet said they would send me a refund but never did. I and a number of others posted warnings on SiteJabber about BoomStreet but these were removed due to "lack of evidence". Now BoomStreet has gone bust after taking more money from people - see BoomStreet.co.uk. This means that small creditors are at the back of the que, don't hold your breath! I would discuss this with your credit card company, that's your best hope. Best Regards, David
Answer: I wish I could tell you, all I know is do not accept a credit to their site. Maybe complain to your credit card company regarding their fraud?
Answer: They are Boomstreet now. Filed bankruptcy and changed their name. That way, they can keep all of the money they have collected from buyers and not send the merchandise. Merchants that do send merchandise on behalf of newly named Boomstreet WILL NOT GET PAID. I recommend finding Boomstreet online and sending them relentless emails demanding your money back. Don't let them keep your hard earned money! Feel free to answer back with updates. Good luck!
