This company is a SCAM! I activated a 7% hotel reward and booked a room, but the activated deal and reward never appeared. I emailed them numerous times, and they kept saying... just wait. So I did. Finally after 3 months, I contacted them again and they wanted my BOOKING email from the hotel, which was no longer available in Hotmail after 3 months! Hotel cant provide booking date either, only my stay receipt for $342. RMN owes me $24 and scammed me. Im done with them! And you cant cash out any amount under $5. Total joke.
If you want cash back on purchases, do not use RetailMeNot.com! I made numerous purchases using the links on this website, and received emails that the retailers verified my purchases and I would receive cash back in 2 months. I went to the website today and all of my pending cash back was marked $0. When I tried to access a cash back offer, I received an error message stating my account was flagged with suspicious activity that violated the site's terms. It is clear that RetailMeNot.com collects commissions on your valid purchases that you make in good faith through their site, and then they accuse you of wrongdoing to get out of paying you what they owe you. I will take legal action not only to right the wrong that has been done to me, but to help the many others who have been wronged by RetailMeNot.com. Just stay away from this website and use more reputable and reliable cash back sites.

I tried 3 different Krispy Kreme coupons that were "verified" with today's date, 1/2/2024. None of them worked. I made sure I ordered the basic glazed dozen and there were no other discounts. I hate it when supposedly legitimate coupons won't work.

I purchased items from Walmart after activating a cash back offer. Then I received emails from RetailMeNot saying that Walmart notified them of purchases and they issued pending cash back to my account. For some unknown reason however, all the cash back was deleted and my account was suspended - termed "ineligible." There was no further explanation. I did not return any items and bought them in good faith, believing in the cash back offer, which I now know was bogus.

I have redeemable money with RetailMeNot. However, I have no way to access my funds since I do not have PayPal or Venmo. If I do nothing, RetailMeNot will charge me an annual service fee till my money is depleted. I am not permitted to redeem it through another credit card source, and RetailMeNot claims it cannot issue checks. Hum? I wonder how their employees are paid!

Once upon a time you could go to this site, and attain coupon codes would actually work. In two years now I have no longer been able to get a working coupon code. I will no longer even try its a waste. It is unknown if they actually test there codes, I can only guess not. Wayback this site was a go to spot for shopping. I've used RetailMeNot for years. In the past I used to find great promo codes but seems like most of the "codes" these days are affiliate money making links that don't actually link you to the offer/deal/code. Unless there's an actual code being shown, I wouldn't waste my time clicking a link. I do find codes from time to time but they are few and far between these days.

My account was "voluntarily" deleted by Retailmenot and now they will not honor my account cash back rewards balance. I had $67 in my account and somehow they "voluntarily" deleted that. They gave no explanation as to why that was. I used the app faithfully for years collecting my cash rebates and they suddenky delete my account with no warning?! This is bull$#*!. Don't use them. There are better apps out there.

I signed up for RetailMeNot.com because they were offering a $50 cash-back bonus for signing up with AT&T as a new internet customer. I did exactly that and still am happy with my new AT&T Fiber service, but RetailMeNot banned my account for "suspicious activity" with no pay out. I even read the fine print and followed the procedure to a T. Email correspondence got no where. Complete scam.

RetailMeNot is a wonderful money saver. One can register and browse for deals via app or website. Discounts up to 50% off are offered on anything from food to electronics. I use the app regularly and save big each time I use it. Just yesterday I brought a Papa John's large pizza for 40% off. Some other rivals to RetailMeNot make one jump through hoops just to save minimal or none in the end. RetailMeNot offers exactly what it states without any tricks. The only drawback is that some of the coupons may not work. Hints the four stars.

Never used the service before and signed up. Tried to order two gift cards and my order was cancelled. I got the canned "third party verifier" response to my inquiry that others seem to be getting. Not sure what the deal is or if they are trying to week out casual users by denying the first order to see if you will go back, but they lost a customer here. Account deleted and I will be watching my credit card closely for fraud.

As a merchant this site is a nightmare. They accept coupon codes for stores without validating them, will not remove them when you ask, and the merchant has to field questions from upset customers about why the coupons don't work when they are for a promotion that was run 5 years ago! I believe this site simply attempts to garner advertising dollars by getting in as many visitors as possible
As soon as I start making larger purchases for cashback on your app, my account gets magically flagged for "suspicious activity" and is under a permanent investigation, one for which you can't even provide the slightest inkling as to how someone could even scam you using your own app through their Chrome browser?
And then I'm referred to terms of use that don't even begin to detail any violations for which I could have possibly even been a part of, all while refusing to accept the receipts from the merchant I used to purchase my hotel stays for my vacation?
And you can't even give me the courtesy as a customer to provide some insight into why my account was locked after refusing to pay me for justified purchases and robbing me of the opportunity to earn cashback from one of your competitors who doesn't treat me like I'm some sort of terrorist?
No wonder why your ratings on Consumeraffairs.com and Trustpilot.com are swirling the drain.

This site is totally bogus, NO coupons in my two year search have ever worked tried over a 1000 coupons and the non codes, they just make money on our clicks to the websites. "oh you need no code just click here and save" but you never find that discount anywhere in the site. I stopped using and suggest companies stop associating with the site.
Retailmenot uses very unethical practices in order to game a high SEO ranking on Google. I'm getting really tired of having my first search for promo codes or coupons be retailmenot (regardless of what I'm looking for), only to find they have no promo codes or coupons whatsoever. When the first site on Google is completely irrelevant to your search terms, it means those searches are irrelevant. Clicking on their site has become irrelevant. Gaming Google just wastes my time and my trust. I'll be skipping retailmenot from now on due to a 0 for 10 search streak.
RetailMeNot adds coupons as they please, regardless of the business' wishes. Our business offered discounts 3 to 4 years ago and although we no longer honor them, RetailMeNot REFUSES to remove them for us. We often get grief from customers about this. Guess what they tell us? "So sue us!" I wish it was cost effective for us to sue them. This site is a scam for both consumers and businesses.
Like many similar sites of this type, posted purchase discount codes for vendor goods/services at the Retail Me Not site work only about half the time, and there is no guarantee you will ever receive an "activated" cash percentage rebate from RMN either. Any inquiries are treated as if RMN customer service is doing you a favor, or as if you are trying to fraudulently obtain a discount on an activated and verified purchase, (I was told they were addressing a concern of mine as a "One Time Courtesy").

Use to be really good with a ton of online coupons, lately not so much so. I wish retailmenot had more offerings, but it is a must got to site before shopping on the net. To get the best price you have to stop here first for the most reliable coupons.
Wasted time on 2 offers that did not work. Wonder how many offers are actually real, and if occasionally a business accepts an offer just for PR reasons. Too bad they have to do this, and too bad people are wasting their time in many other instances.
