I wish I had checked this sight before I ordered anything from nCrownd. Worse merchandise I have ever seen.
What a load of Crooks - owes me thousands.

Worth calling him - but beware he lies!

I purchased a voucher for micro ring hair extensions, and was horrified by the experience I received.
I would assume that as a reputable company, ncrowd has some type of vetting process to ensure the deals they advertise are to a certain standard in safety and professionalism.
This was not my experience!
The woman/'company' I had the unfortunate experience of booking my deal with was highly unprofessional and was randomly working out of her flat.
When I booked the deal I was asked to attend a consultation to match the colour of my hair. On arrival to the area, I found it extremely difficult to find the premises, and after looking up and down for half an hour for a hair salon, I would later find out had been a waste of time because there was no salon! The lady was working out of her small studio flat where she actually lived, which I felt was extremely uncomfortable, unsafe and unprofessional!
Whilst looking for the salon I called the beautician several times, who said she was running late and I should wait for her outside a cafe on the high street. After I had made several annoyed phone calls to her (every time saying she would only be 5 more minutes), she eventually turned up, a few minutes short of an hour late while I had been left standing on the street corner.
Eventually, after waiting an hour, I cautiously entered her home, and after driving all the way from Battersea to Clapton, spent literally under 5 minutes with her, where I told her the colour of my hair which I could of done over the phone! A complete an utter waste of time!
When arranging a follow up appointment to actually get my hair done, she told me I would have to wait longer than expected (which was days more than we had previously discussed on the phone) meaning that I would then be getting my hair done on the day of an event I was attending (my 10 year anniversary party that was actually the purpose of me getting my hair done! Followed by a two week holiday the next day, for which I also believed I would have my hair done for!)
Of course, in her typical unprofessional and disastrous way, I received a text message only a few hours before my appointment from the beautician saying, sorry my appointment has been cancelled for personal reasons.
So There I was... now left stranded with no appointment, no time to arrange an alternative and no money to pay for something else, as I had already pre-paid for a ridiculously disastrous service!
After complaining to ncrowd, it took several extremely frustrated emails on my behalf (because you can't actually SPEAK to a real human being), and a month for me to even get my money back, and after all of that they cheekily offered me a £5 voucher as a good will gesture! That didn't even cover my petrol money to get there! Seems as though ncrowd is as bigger sham as the clients they have!
I sent an email early this am and got an expedient resolution.
Thanks Ncrowd!
Call the credit card company, they will dispute the charges.
DO NOT USE THIS SITE! NEVER GOT THE ITEM AND NO TRACKING NUMBER! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME SHOPPING HERE
I ordered from them several times. The site is legit. All my deal codes worked. No complaints.
Answer: They are still in scamming business - yes - they sell, but do not ship anything! Do not buy
Answer: No bankrupt. Just name change scam. They do this just about every year when they screw people... they just change their name. We are working on looking into getting them involved in the Federal Trade Commission here in the United States. What have you got over there? Some sort of government organisation?
Answer: Contact the Retail Ombudsman. This is a new service and you can lodge your complaint with them online. If you paid for your items by credit card you should be able to claim the monies back via your card provider. Hope this helps.
Answer: As others have suggested here, ask your credit card company for a chargeback as soon as possible. Explain to your cc company that nCrowd is now in foreclosure and isn't selling any more goods or services. Therefore, any unused store credit or vouchers are now useless. I wouldn't bother to wait for nCrowd to resume selling deals again. You could also send your cc company the information about the foreclosure (see the link below) to support your claim. Also, your cc company will likely request proof (e.g., emails with the merchants or the names of the merchants you have spoken to on the phone) that the merchants were unwilling to honor the vouchers. I was able to get a chargeback by doing the above. Perhaps you could ask PayPal for assistance if you used it to purchase the nCrowd deal. https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/ncrowd-forecloses-leaves-trail-bad-taste-albert-s-bitton
Answer: Did you use a credit card to purchase?
Answer: Hi, My name is Carl and I'm a manager with nCrowd. I'm so sorry for the trouble you've experienced with your recent purchase. Please email me at carl@ncrowd.com with as many details as you can provide about your purchase so I may look into the matter further. Thank you!
Answer: When I got the shaft from this company, I complained to the Better Business Bureau, and asked my state's Attorney General for help. Then nCrowd responded quickly.
Answer: Dear Kath, NCrowd went bankrupt and were taken over (or renamed themselves) BoomStreet. Boomstreet said they would send me a refund but never did. I and a number of others posted warnings on SiteJabber about BoomStreet but these were removed due to "lack of evidence". Now BoomStreet has gone bust after taking more money from people - see BoomStreet.co.uk. This means that small creditors are at the back of the que, don't hold your breath! I would discuss this with your credit card company, that's your best hope. Best Regards, David
Answer: I wish I could tell you, all I know is do not accept a credit to their site. Maybe complain to your credit card company regarding their fraud?
Answer: They are Boomstreet now. Filed bankruptcy and changed their name. That way, they can keep all of the money they have collected from buyers and not send the merchandise. Merchants that do send merchandise on behalf of newly named Boomstreet WILL NOT GET PAID. I recommend finding Boomstreet online and sending them relentless emails demanding your money back. Don't let them keep your hard earned money! Feel free to answer back with updates. Good luck!
