I bought a program through Microsoft it doesn't or won't work on my computer their help line is useless or just plain don't want to help. It makes me feel real special that Microsoft need to steal a hundred bucks from me
Tried canceling my contract for 2 years now and I keep getting charged £50 per year even though I don't use it, on the site they give you steps to cancel the contract but never leads you to correct link
The electronic Microsoft customer service is the worst ever. The chat feature is extremely inefficient. You can not get a quick answer to questions about spam or what you might think is a fraud request from Microsoft. The leadership really needs to do more management by walking around. I am sure the leadership doesn't know what Management by walking around is, so just google ot.
Ordered Surface Pro 7, Keyboard and Pen - didn't like the product.
Been trying to get a return label since the second day I got it to no avail.
Customer service keeps making excuses that return shipping label has been sent.
It has been 14 days now. I have been calling them every second day, everyday, now two times a day.
They keep saying that return label has been sent to the email address.
Asked for alternate email which has been provided but no return shipping label still.
I'll keep trying to get that label as I don't like the product and they offered 60 day return.
Really upset over this as it is beyond poor service.
They have to stand behind their product and what they advertise for rerturns.
I would suggest not to buy from Microsoft Store all.
Find the product an Amazon or somewhere it is easy for return.
Keep it in mind. So frustrating going through this hassle to return.

So I did the recommend update on my computer and now I can't use my computer it has locked me out with the claim of doing a verification but these people never send the verification email they don't offer any sort of support so I am left being locked out of my computer until one of these losers does their job. Never buying anymore of their products and I will be looking to never use their services again what a horrible experience and company.
Recently my Microsoft account got hacked and now I can't get it back because you need to know the email that it got changed to even then when i got that rambler.ru email I can't get help because it automatically gets rejected and after 2 tries it tells me wait 24 H
I needed the Microsoft Suite of applications for my new computer. I paid what I thought was a premium price for a premium product. However, the setup wizard kept referring me to the App Store to buy the same product. I already had the code key and paid for everything. When I contacted Microsoft for help, I was directed to a website where I had to pay a fee of $46. I gave this a try and the Microsoft technician's email suggestions were not working. When they requested another $39 for more support, I had had enough. After several hours, I was able to download on my own. I do not understand why the set up wizard did not work on a new computer. With any future computer purchases, I will try other applications as Microsoft Office is too expensive when the set up is so onerous.
Microsoft illegally logs me out of my account, falsify's my password, and then doesn't allow me to use my actual password in the reset. Microsoft is a scam and should be forced to forfeit all of their financial assets to everyone they've scammed (or at least sell Minecraft and other popular products they own so it'll be easier for people to boycott them for their crimes).
Bought an Elite Series 2 controller for my husband on pre-order for $200. We received it in Nov 2019. I didn't purchase an extended warranty bc I figured this controller would last for more than 6 months (warranty only covers 90 days). Well here we are 9 months out and issues started 3 months ago. We figured the constant disconnecting was from the xbox servers but turns out, nope the controller, and now his buttons are sticking and he can't play his games. I called Microsoft and all they told me was basically "its out of warranty, oh well, you have to pay $100 for us to send you a new controller". Like um excuse me, why would I want to pay you for the biggest piece of $#*! controller when the non xbox brand controllers work better. DO NOT BUY THIS CONTROLLER! Microsoft is money hungry grubs that don't care about their customers or product quality.
Unbelievable. For months I have been trying to gain access to my xbox live account.If you change your phone number you will never get access to your account again. Over and over I have filled out a multiple page application that takes weeks for them to respond to. The whole time they will continue to charge you fore your subscription that you have no access to. Unbelievably greedy!
I had a $99 on my account from Microsoft. I attempted over a three day period to talk to someone to get the charge removed.The first time I was circling with an automated chat that kept asking me questions that I would answer and then circle me back to the first question. I was transferred between the home and office departments 4 times as one department said it was the other department. They couldn't find the charge, it didn't show up on my order history. Once they found it, they informed me they couldn't do anything about the charge. I will never buy a Microsoft product if I can help it. I will be getting rid of my PC with windows and exclusively using Apple.
Yes, locked out, and for no reason. People need an email company that is reliable. These people are controlling and create problems for absolutely no reason. I will never use Hotmail again. There is absolutely no reason for me to be locked out of my own account, control freaks. Further, they wanted me to verify with a text through cell phone. I don't use a cell phone, and they don't provide any other option to verify. We live in a golden age of verification and survey insanity. There was absolutely no reason for verification. They just want to exert control over people and invade our space, like total control freaks.
I will never shop online at Microsoft. I had a HORRIBLE experience. I try to purchase a Xbox one x for my son online and I was not able to because I had a visa gift card and the rest would be on my credit which it is a very easy process at apple and Amazon. So I call to buy over the phone. The agent advise me to buy Microsoft credit. I told him I will put the money there to purchase the console only, I don't need anything else from Microsoft. By the time he finished the process there were no console. I have been calling them email them and no refund. They are holding my money hostage and I ended up by the console from Amazon. Never again. The worse company ever
I had sent an email on 29 June 2023 on my school Outlook account, only for the recipient to tell me they did not receive the mail and the mail was removed from sent emails. However I found the doc on Outlook sent documents. I have tried seeking help but nothing and I have failed my post grad.

Microsoft teams developers are seriously joking. This app has single handedly crashed my computer several times which is very frustrating. Developers of teams be serious, people's education is on the line because of your unprofessional work, I tried downloading this on my phone as well and my phone became slower and most of my apps stopped responding. Half of the time I don't even receive sent messages and I cant respond to them. The screen is constantly flashing, not to mention I cant join meeting's, and if I'm able to, either my mic is on the whole time or off the whole time which makes it difficult for me to speak. Overall very poor experience.

They are getting paid to do one BIG nothing. When you try to call them and speak to a representative, it will take you hours for them to unswer phone, and when they do that, will remain silent on the line, why you are on hold with them for hours, and hours. And, when you try to call again and again, and a get to a person, they will transfer your call to different departments, and will this by it self will take you one more hour on the line with the why trying to be transfer. And when they unswer, phone call all the saden will get disconnected. I don't understand why they are not supervised, or recorded at what they are doing. Because all Microsoft is doing is being charged for costumer service, but in reality there is not a service at all to us a client. It gets way to frustrating. At one one point you don't want to use there service any longer because of there IGNORANCE. Very pure costumer service.

I took out another website address and even though I already had Microsoft 365, I was asked to sign up the new website with Microsoft again. Hence, I did, unknowing that I would be billed quarterly $480 that is part of a one year subscription to the Microsoft 365. Apparently it was a Business Account, which was fine, but the billing was not explained. It is probably my fault, but it has been impossible to speak to a business representative from Microsoft. Microsoft needs to understand that their customers are not all fluent in "Tech Language" and cannot navigate their complex dispute methods.
I am currently 17 years old working a part time job and I saved five weeks of paychecks to to pay for a surface three. Then after using it a total of four times the screen went blank and would not turn on and the surface logo kept blinking. After I saw this I sent it back to get a new one because they said they could send me one due to it still being on warranty, and it cracked while in shipping AND they blamed it on me saying it was intentional damage. They were telling me I had to pay $220 if i wanted a new one for something I didn't even do this is BS. $220 should be about another two paychecks for me... do you think I'm made of money? Don't waste your money OR TIME paying for the pieces of crap they're selling.

Answer: Prohibit updates so they cannot mess up your machine by going to services and disabling the service for updates listed. Don't forget to disable all the repair service thingys too. Hope that MS will not against your will and knowledge STILL inject code into your system or further hack you.
Answer: Well my first impression is I'm surprised you say you have a college degree. You didn't mention if it's a BA, or BFA, but either degree requires the ability to spell and use grammar correctly. This isn't a school room, but for a college grad to post their thoughts on a public forum that is at a high school level is (if you are a college grad), a sad commentary on our educational system. As for Microsoft being garbage, I do agree. It started out great and Gates encouraged employees to think outside the box, try EVERYTHING and give the product's organization feedback, which made the company number 1 with office software. But, starting with Steve telling employees it's a "terminable" offense to have a Rim phone, makes no sense. But that's the philosophy now, under no circumstances Challenge our products. Don't give us feedback on our app's, just tell us they are better than anyone else's! I remember when MSN pushed Microsoft employees to go to their internal site that has MSN on one side of the UI and Google.com on the other side. The purpose was to CHALLENGE MSN. Try both together then forward your thoughts. The intent was 1. Let Microsoft know where MSN lacks so that 2. They could make it GREAT. Unfortunately, many versions later MSN didn't figure out how to make an awesome search engine and Google is still the King, but that's how Microsoft became great, Challenging their products. Now they're really losing credibility and the public is pivoting to Apple and Open Source.
