This company is just a distributor and have no control over the quality of the products or the service. Took me a month to get a return authorization on a product that was nothing like the one depicted on the website. Stay away...
On August 23,2020, I ordered a buffet, a dining room table, and 6 chairs. The cost was almost $6,000.00. On September 10, I received my merchandise, with the buffet having minimal damage, but the dining room table with significant damage. I agreed to accept the buffet, with it's minimal damage, but refused delivery of the dining room table, due to the amount of damage, and decided to send back the 6 chairs, since it was a set. The delivery guys were very clear about my needing to call the company right away and let them know that I had returned the table and chairs, and why. I did that. I have made 4 calls, sent three emails, and finally called my credit card company and put a stop payment on the purchase because no one has ever replied to an email, every person I get on the line tells me there is no record of my previous calls. I cannot seem to get a replacement for the table and chairs, nor get a refund. This is the absolute worst company.
I ordered a Temple brand sofa back on 11/08/21. On ordering, I was given a delivery date in February, and the only shipping option was "doorstep delivery", so I asked specifically if they drop it in the yard or bring it inside the front door. I was very relieved when the sales rep said, "ma'am, they'll bring it inside the door". The next day, got an email stating I now have a delivery date of 06/06/22. I was apprehensive because they had over $3k of my money for 8 months while waiting. I emailed every couple of months asking for any updates. Always the response was 06/06/22. So today is 06/06/22 and I have no sofa. Their third-party shipping service (that the customer service rep today stated is "difficult") arbitrarily changed my arrival date to 06/07/22. When I told them I work a 12hr shift tomorrow and that I'd rearranged my work schedule to accommodate the date id been given, I was told, "our driver will leave it in the first dry place then". That was not ok with me. I was shocked, actually. When I called luxe decor, they did say that they'll call and reschedule the delivery AND CHARGE ME $100 to carry the sofa the three feet from the yard into the house (no stairs), even though I had clarified this in the beginning as part of the delivery process. It's afternoon on 06/06/22, the day my sofa was promised 8 months ago, and I still do not know when it's coming and Luxe Decor has yet another $100 of my money. I'm not pleased and I would not recommend this store. The communication is very difficult and the service is poor. I just hope I get my sofa at some point…
Worst company ever! Website says 2 weeks delivery and after 6 weeks never delivery nothing so i cancelled my order and they charged me 1278$ for restock something that i never get. I hope they go out from this business.
Beware…I saw a mirror on Pinterest that was available at LuxDecor. It was $412; free shipping. When you go to the site as a "new customer" you're given the option to put in your email address to get a 10% discount. I did that and received my discount code. When it came time to check out put in my code and I see that it went back to the original price of 458 and then gave me the discount and then addition, he charged me $100 for shipping. I reached out to the company because obviously that was not what I was expecting. After more than an hour on the phone I was told a supervisor was not available to speak to, they did not see a problem with it going back to its original pricing, and they had no intention of shipping it for free. I'm not sure that I would consider this customer service at any level. If it's posted out on the Internet and is out there with their knowledge and approval, they should honor it. And reverting to the original price before giving you your welcome discount- I guess that's just a mechanism to get your email address so they can inundate you with mail.
Very disappointed in this company and would not shop with it again.
Ordered a sofa one year ago that was listed as in stock. 3 months later I finally got ahold of them only to find out it was back ordered 3 more months. This happened 4 more times! I'm now one year out from ordering an in stock item and still have not received it.
Ordered a patio table on 5/14/20. After a couple weeks of no info from Luxe, I started calling them. I didn't get a live cust serv rep until 6/2/20. I asked to have my order cancelled at that time. A couple of weeks after the 6/2 phone conversation, I received a text message from Luxe giving me a possible shipping ETA, and asking if I still wanted the table. I replied that NO, I didn't want the table. Yesterday I received my credit card bill, and discovered that Luxe had charged me for the table on 5/15/20. Tried calling them, and naturally, I couldn't get through. I sent them an email, to which they have not responded. They have never responded to emails I sent in the past when I was attempting to find out a shipping date for my table. I have never dealt with such a dangerous company. The right hand doesn't know what the left is doing, and the customer will always be the victim.
CRAPPY Customer Service or should I say NO customer service. Was told my order was in stock when ordered-come to find out it is back ordered. Cancelled the order and told a full refund will be coming my way in 3-5 business days. It has now been 12 business days. Waited on hold forEVER and when someone answered they hung up. Got through once and tried to transfer me to another CSR and put back into the queue. Waiting again another day almost 40 minutes and as I got closer to a CSR the call was dropped by THEM! Do NOT buy anything from them... stay away. I think CROOKED tactics.
They quote all kinds of discounts but they never apply to any furniture! I spent 45min on the line with their sale help line and all they could say was "sorry, you need to read the fine print" I am really sorry!
I have found LuxeDecor to be difficult and dishonorable. They lowered the price on the furniture I bought from them before it was delivered to my house. They did not honor the lower price and had lots of excuses and loopholes. Customer service is poor, and the experience of dealing with them is frustrating.
Avoid LuxeDecor if possible!
Awful scam artists - they never shipped my furniture and after multiple delays and no communication, I asked them to cancel. They still didn't refund my money. I challenged it on my credit card and they refunded my money partially, but kept a $950 "whatever" fee - they claim they shipped it the very hour that I cancelled the order and it's a shipping fee - I do not believe it. STAY AWAY
Don't order anything from this company. Purchased some furniture for my wife and the failed to contact me on several occasions that the furniture was shipped. They advised me to call the shipper to find out the status. When I called the shipper as instructed they advised that they would not be shipping the furniture due to damage. I recontacted the company and advised that they could not reimburse until they received an official paperwork from the shipper. I just wanted my money back so I stayed on the phone for 30 minutes until they agreed to give it back.
I recently ordered a rather expensive bed and filing cabinet from LuxeDecor which, based on the information provided on their site, I was led to believe was made of high quality materials. My sister had earlier order a similar bed from same manufacturer via the website. However, when my sister's bed was delivered a few days after I placed my order, I noted that the bed appeared to be poorly made with what I believe was composite wood and inferior fabrics. I immediately called LuxeDecor to cancel my order. However, although neither the bed nor the filing cabinet had been picked up by the shipping company at the time of my call to cancel the order, LuxeDecor indicated that I would be charged a hefty restocking fee and shipping costs (which I disputed without success). I will never purchase another item from LuxeDecor and strongly urge all prospective buyers to review LuxeDecor's cancellation policy BEFORE placing an order.
We had bought a new home. She ordered several item from LuxeDecor (we don't care). After several months in the hospital my wife passed away. She never got to move into the new home. The items she ordered are still in the boxes. I attempted to return unopened boxes. Customer UN service said it was too late and they don't take old returns. There is nothing wrong with old household items, they do not spoil. Customer UN service told me to sell the items at a garage sale. I am selling the house we bought, her medical bills are in the $100,000s and LuxeDON'Tcare tells me tough luck.
We are a business and needed the desk we ordered asap. The desk was damaged even before we received it in the office. The choices were to get a refund, get a discount or get a new desk sent out. Total inconvenience to have to shop around again for a desk or have them resend a new one so I asked how much of a discount they offered for the damaged desk. Only $175 for a desk over $2000. 00. Our inconvenience means nothing to them. Will never order from here again.
With Mr. Tom David as Customer Service Manager, LuxeDecor's business IS DEFINITELY IN GOOD HANDS. Mr. David rang me and left a message regarding my experience described in my earlier review. He followed through with an email and called me again after I called back and left him a message as well as responded to his email.
When we spoke, he was courteous, understanding, quite professional and apologetic. I explained that I would have preferred perfect quality chairs like the matching table; however, my husband and I were too exhausted to deal with a third set of four chairs. Mr. Tom David capably resolved the matter with a satisfactory solution!
To prospective customers of LuxeDecor, I recommend that you do business with Mr. Tom David as he is not only customer-oriented but also a reasonable young man who could be TRUSTED to take swift and FAIR corrective action.
WORST customer service I've ever had. (I'm in customer service) 4 weeks after I paid for an item that was suppose to ship in 2-3 weeks I started calling just to get a status update. Trying to get the house finished so we can move in. Spent hrs combined on hold, got hung up on several times over the course of 2 weeks, did not provide me with any order update as they said they would, conflicting stories about the shipping info, no refund info when i finally had enough and was out of time. Sent multiple emails, left voicemails and spoke with 3 different women over the course of this nightmare Sophia, Angelica, and Dara. BUYER BEWARE OF THIS PLACE. It's been so bad I've pinched myself to make sure i wasn't having a bad dream. It was real unfortunately.
SUCKY customer service. Does NOT create or send merchandise when promised TOO long of a wait! Sat on hold with the customer service Chat over 45 minutes to get information about my order and STILL did not get any information. Waited well over an hour on the phone then got disconnected. They just say they are a 3rd party vendor and cannot get details. I would NEVER recommend this company especially because the merchandise is very expensive. Treated like a 3rd class citizen at best. They got one star because I HAD to click one otherwise they would get NO stars.
I ordered four rugs from Luxedecor, and discovered a couple of days later that I could have ordered the rugs on Amazon, direct from the manufacturer, for anywhere from $43 to $69 less/rug. My bad. I should have looked harder than I did before I ordered. To their credit, the rugs did arrive in a timely fashion. I called them up and kindly requested a price adjustment. They told me they absolutely would NOT extend the courtesy of a price adjustment once the items had been shipped. I read their return policy and realized that they don't offer free returns (it is plastered everywhere on their website that they have "free returns"), it's on you to pay for return shipping (okay, not too unreasonable), but they will deduct from your return a certain dollar amount (determined by them, and who knows how they determine that) for shipping it to you. They don't tell you this amount right away, but rather email you the amount within a couple of days. Then, if you have decided to return, you have to call them back and jump through a couple more hoops to get an authorization or something and then they will send you the shipping information (you can't find out how much shipping is until you have an address). After I got the email that told me how much they were going to deduct from my refund, I realized that it would end up costing me more to return and pay for the shipping than I could save. So, BUYER BEWARE of both their "Free Returns" and their pricing. Shop around before ordering from LuxeDecor!
I purchased furniture from this business, for which they immediately charged my credit card. The furniture did not ship as promised, and arrived late and broken. Now, no one will communicate with me about a refund. The "live chat" is not real. Customer service is a joke. I will file a lawsuit and get my money back, but save yourself some wasted time and anguish and DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CRIMINALS. They will take your money and you will need a lawyer to ever get it back.
Answer: Its a scam company. They are just a website. They work with suppliers that sell fake products. Luxedecor has no authorization to receive returns or apply refunds so don't use them.
