The shipment got here fast. However. Paying for the order was difficult. I kept ordering and it run it would show it went to my bank then it returned it. Not sure what was happening Employee very helpful with the mishap however and stayed with us until it went through.Thank you!
This is my second time using Dormco.com. My daughter ordered a bookshelf from Dormco but then found out that another family member had the item for her. We tried to call to cancel the order and were told there is no one available via phone to discuss this and that we would have to email. We emailed the situation and received a no despite the fact that the item has not shipped and will not be placed in the dorm for over a month. I tried to call again and was again told there is no manager or anyone available to discuss exchanging the item via phone. I will use companies like Amazon going forward since they have much better and responsive customer service.
I ordered two of the Gray Headboards with Crystals embedded. They arrived quickly and securely wrapped. We have not set them up yet BUT they are exactly as described and even nicer in person. You will not be disappointed.

First time to purchase from dormco. Ordered dolly for transport of dorm items. Delivered badly damaged and without the "legs" to hold transported items-only sent with the handle. I have pictures. Contacted listed customer service number but they will only talk to you if you want to purchase more items-will only email you if you have product issues. Received email that stated it will probably come in second shipment-why would they send a very small dolly in 2 shipments? It won't arrive in that shipment (already on its way supposedly) and I will probably never see a refund. Stay away! They don't care about their customers I promise you!

I ordered a comforter from Dorm Co. Via Amazon in early December. I never received it and inquired. Dorm Co. Says they shipped it via FedEx and that FedEx left it outside of my apartment building in Manhattan on a Sunday! That doesn't happen. No one in my building - only four other tenants - received or signed for the package. Dorm co. Says I should call the police - great customer service. I think it is just a scam.

Be very careful - the site is very unresponsive and I am not convinced they actually ship products that are ordered.

The mini futon is great! It's the perfect size for my little room. It's easy to assemble and it's cute. There is enough room at the bottom for some baskets as well. The softness could be better but it's great after a long day.
Now for the bad part... which I don't think is dormco's fault. The package was pierced in several places, which luckily didn't damage the product. But it did make a mess of the silica gels on my carpet.
If the package wasn't damaged, I'd give it a 4 star rating.
We have not set up my son's dorm yet so I do not have photos. But I could not believe how fast I received my items! Like in 2 days! I purchase the tall shelf for over fridge and a black headboard. Both seem to be really good quality! Will be coming back when my daughter leaves in 2 years! Also I feel like if I need anything last minute I can still order now!

I purchased a DormCo Club Chair for Christmas 2020 for my son's dorm thru Overstock. He brought it home with him this summer and I noticed that the bottom piece of fabric was completely ripping apart. This didn't happen overnight. I contacted Overstock who were not able to help me since they did not have a replacement part. Even though it was past the 30 days, I explained that it was at his dorm, 6 hours away. Still no help from Overstock so I then contacted Dormco and after going back and forth, the representative told me that if I was able to get Overstock to release the issue to them, them would be able to help. After several calls and emails, I finally got that to happen and Dormco did nothing! Ignored my emails. There is no phone number for customer service either. It was a complete waste of my time. What an awful company. They clearly sell very low quality products but have no regard for their customers.

Delivery was speedy. We were just wishing the color was a deeper red instead of purple.
Products were delivered to our house and NOT the dorm per their mistake which they wouldn't fix. Couldn't get ANYONE on the phone to help. Spent significant extra $$ to ship on our own to the college. Products are cheaply made, wood splinters as you put it together and the directions are not clear to follow. Would NEVER use this company again. Buyer beware!

The construction was extremely difficult and definitely did not take 20 minutes. It took over 2 hours. Parts came damaged as well. I would not recommend ordering from here.
I was a little worried when my 200$ couch arrived completely smashed as if it had been run over. I got in contact with customer service and without hesitation they sent a new one out and even let me keep the smashed one. Overall its extremely comfortable and I couldn't be happier with my experience with this company. 10/10 would recommend to all my friends and family.

I ordered over $700 worth of stuff from this company. I did not get all of my purchases (2 items). Instead of them wither refunding my money or sending the placement, they stated that there warehouse said it was sent. This was not case. The items received were good for a college student.
I was skeptical about buying a package with 44 items for only 160 dollars, but I stand corrected! I am blown away by the quality and the customer service of the company. Shipping was insanely fast as well. And as an added bonus, all of the items that I couldn't pick the colors for still matched the theme of colors I had choosen, which I'm really grateful for! Overall good choice if you're needing a whole bunch of items for a new living space.

A little too wide for the only area that could house the fridge. Now I am trying to return the unit and it's been a challenge. I am supposed to put a note in the box, but if I open the box it is not returnable... so the emails tell me. They don't have live customer service. I get referred back to the chat or the email system when I ask for help with the return. Not the easiest online experience, nor one I would repeat.

Although the boxes took a while to arrive, I'm glad I chose to ship from dorm to home through dorm co. I was able to fill them to capacity and go over the weight on the labels provided. Dorm co covered all the overage charges. Considering I had a penny board to send to Texas from my dorm in California, I'm certain the box with that item was way over the 16 lbs I paid for. I got the mega box kit, and it was enough boxes for my clothes, shoes, skateboard, dishes, towels, robe, toiletries, comforter, mattress topper, books, pencils, and even my desk lamp.
Received futon ordered. Paid for expedited shipping. Received item in box that has been taped up repeatedly. There is a hole in box and when futon pulled out, there is a hole in the fabric. Contacted customer service, sent pictures as requested and was told they deemed hole would not affect structural integrity. That's it. Offered 20% back on credit card. This futon is a gift. So I am supposed to just tell the recipient "don't worry about the hole - it won't affect the structural integrity"? No offer to exchange and replace. Stay away - buy your college needed items elsewhere.

Their ordering process is quick & easy. But the quality of the product for the $$ you spend is not worth it. This is my 2nd order & still don't feel this company is up to par in quality. 1st order was returned but thought I should give them a second chance... they won't get a third. I bought a clearance quilt for $21. Normally $73. No way it's worth $73! I'm only keeping because I hastly threw packaging away. Has yet to be washed & seams falling apart (pictured) And it's worthless for warmth - thickness pictured. How is this DORM bedding? It would be impossible to keep a college kid warm. It you're looking for something to look "pretty" or cool - ok but it you think this is going to be daily, durable bedding... umm, not happening.

This company is absolutely terrible! After receiving a comforter that smelled terrible of chemicals, I washed it according to the tags instructions to a tee! The comforter had large hard spots throughout! When going back and forth with their awful customer service, it was determined I would not be refunded. They are accusing me of washing it wrong. Stating that there is no way it would have hard spots after washing. The offered to replace it. No way! Why would I want another awful product that I can not wash (following tags instructions)?! Do not shop with this company!
