Dorm Co

All items received were of good quality and we are happy with them. Our only issue was that not all items listed as being part of the package deal were actually in stock or available. For example the package came with a storage truck and various styles and colors were listed to choose from in pictures however when you went to select it for the order many of the styles/colors were not available. The same thing pertained to colors and types of bedspreads, blankets, shower caddies, etc. that were part of the package.

We purchased the metal dorm risers for my son for college. After putting them together and placing the bed on top, they were extremely unsteady. Unfortunately I did not realize that there was a 30 day return policy. I attempted to try to return the product 36 days from the original shipment and customer service refused to honor my money back. They also refused to give me an in-store credit. I wanted to leave my telephone number with them so that the owner could call me back and they said they were not sure that they would give the owner the message. Very unsatisfied customer!

I received a metal shelving unit. It was the most difficult thing to put together because of poor written directions. Some of the parts were not even listed on the instructions so u had to guess where they went. I put the unit together 4 different times before I got it right. The adjustable shelves were difficult to get even due to the odd parts to hold the shelves in place. Once together I am concerned how sturdy it will be once we put stuff on it. I would never buy again, and would have returned it but thought it was a difficult item to return due to its size.

Worse customer service experience ever!
Desk bookshelf came damaged(every single shelve was defective!), hardware was loose in the box and some parts parts were missing. Send pictures of all the damged parts and still would not issue a refund unless I paid for the shipping cost. Heather, the customer service manager was uncooperative and useless. Never order from this place again, poor quality material and horrible customer service!

I had the order say that the shipping label was printed and by the next day, it was at my front door. There were only two disappointing things. The assorted towels, hand towels, and so on are truly assorted. The colors were very different from what I was expecting and clashed with each other. The other disappointing thing was that I ordered a shower caddy and did not receive it.

I ordered a comforter from Dorm Co. Via Amazon in early December. I never received it and inquired. Dorm Co. Says they shipped it via FedEx and that FedEx left it outside of my apartment building in Manhattan on a Sunday! That doesn't happen. No one in my building - only four other tenants - received or signed for the package. Dorm co. Says I should call the police - great customer service. I think it is just a scam.

I was skeptical about buying a package with 44 items for only 160 dollars, but I stand corrected! I am blown away by the quality and the customer service of the company. Shipping was insanely fast as well. And as an added bonus, all of the items that I couldn't pick the colors for still matched the theme of colors I had choosen, which I'm really grateful for! Overall good choice if you're needing a whole bunch of items for a new living space.
