Fridge Rack
September 2, 2019

A little too wide for the only area that could house the fridge. Now I am trying to return the unit and it's been a challenge. I am supposed to put a note in the box, but if I open the box it is not returnable... so the emails tell me. They don't have live customer service. I get referred back to the chat or the email system when I ask for help with the return. Not the easiest online experience, nor one I would repeat.

I ordered a gooseneck lamp. When it came, the base was covered in some sort of a corrosive and sticky substance (like rust maybe?) and it was extremely gross. This was clearly the company's fault, because it is not something that could have happened in transit. When you go to return something, the shipping cost is completely the customer's responsibility. EVEN if it is solely the company's mistake. I am never ordering from here again.

My grandson loves it!

My grandson was looking for a way to organize his desk, and we found it with this product. Ordering and shipping both went well. I didn't put it together, so I don't know if that was easy or hard, but it is up and functioning, and he is thrilled! Thanks!

I ordered over $700 worth of stuff from this company. I did not get all of my purchases (2 items). Instead of them wither refunding my money or sending the placement, they stated that there warehouse said it was sent. This was not case. The items received were good for a college student.

After placing my order, I found our dormco no longer has a customer service line, only email. A terrible user experience. Via email, customer service has no idea where my package is and told me to just "wait and see". It looks like my daughter leaves for college without her items. Very disappointed.

I would definitely shop this site again! The site was very user friendly and offers a great variety of products. We were very pleased with the quality of the comforter and sheets and both are very soft and cozy as promised. Thank you for making our transition from home to dorm room easier!

Unit was as described and worked perfectly. I am using it to rest our toaster oven on top and our water cooler below. The shelf in the middle is used for extra racks and broiler pans. Looks and works great. Delivery was quick..

Bait and switch, twice
September 14, 2016

I got called by Dormco the day after I made the order to be informed that their website was incorrectly quoting the prices... and that I needed to pay 120 extra dollars to make it happen on time. Then, the boxes never arrived because of a UPS hiccup. I had to get the boxes myself from UPS distribution. Dormco would not offer any refund even though the delivery never happened.

Cart works great!

I love this cart. We put the fridge and microwave on it right out of the van. Rolled right into the dorm like a dream. We did switch out the wheels for rubber ones because they're quieter. If you've ever rolled a plastic wheeled cart down a tile dorm hall you understand. It also puts the fridge and microwave at a more usable level.

Never had a problem with this company, and I order from them every 4-6 months.
Plus, the shipping gets to me in 2-3 days with the under $3 shipping charge for the whole order. Couple of times I need to contact them they were quick to reply, and helpful. The basic clip on lights were 30% to 50% cheaper than anywhere else, and of good quality. It's why I keep going back to them.

I was so overwhelmed with what to buy my daughter for her freshman year dorm room. Fortunately, Dormco.com had everything she needed. I ordered the dorm room essentials bundle for a very reasonable price. I received my package an amazing five days later! Everything was beautifully packed, all of my items were there, all of the colors were correct, and most of all my daughter was happy. I have two more children to send off to college in the future, so I know where to go next time to get their dorm room essentials.

Regretting my purchase with Dormco. Selected their higher end products and I am really dissatisfied. The quality is low and colors not as shown and prices not so great when you see what you get. Spent almost $60 for the all cotton comforter. It is thin and looks gray instead of lavender, same with sheets, the aqua sheets look like green scrubs. Sheets are not great, but ok, colors not as shown. The rug is really cheap and super thin. Mattress pad really thin- paid extra for the all cotton. The drawstring on the laundry sack/ backpack is super thin and weak, won't close not hefty enough. The bag itself is ok. Overall not a good purchase at all. Feel really cheated. Spent over $350 for garbage I can't return. They have a really poor return policy and you have to pay all shipping costs. I do not recommend. Skip Dormco and go to Bed Bath and Beyond or Walmart.

Don't order from this company! Wish I'd read this site before ordering. I was sent a damaged bookshelf, six out of eight pieces were chipped or split. I called and of course was told I could ship it back but I would have to pay the shipping which is ridiculous. My other option was to take pictures of the damaged pieces which I did. They shipped out six "New "pieces. They were damaged as well and did not match up with the pieces I had. Customer service representatives were not helpful. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told they were unavailable. Never will deal with this company again!

I bought six crates and only one arrived. When I called them I explained that only one side of the box that they shipped it in had been sealed the other side was wide open and all the crates but one were missing. I sent numerous pictures of the unsealed box--they said they would "investigate"--they did not get back to me so I called again. This time I was told that the warehouse manager is still out so they haven't investigated. So at this point I have paid for the crates--none are on their way and we are waiting for them to "investigate"-- look at the pictures--you messed up--fix the situation, don't have the customer getting more upset that they don't have their product!

Peaceful and well Rested

Quick shipping and it is a wonderful topper, I sleep so well on it and no more aching back. Just wish it was cut a little wider, it is 2'' less that the width of my twin adjustable hospital bed. So only gave 4 stars.

We purchased one of Dormco's shipping boxes and shipping label packages. I packed each box making sure everything was wrapped and secure. During shipping UPS damaged not 1 but multiple boxes of the 10 we shipped. Dormco insures each box for $99. So first lesson do not pack items of value together. We submitted a claim to Dormco for $307 with pictures of each item that was damaged. Dormco approved and accepted only $198 from UPS so we are forced to pay to replace the other items out of our pockets. Lesson learned we would have saved money just shipping everything ourselves and NOT using Dormco and UPS.

Their customer service is stellar!

We've ordered several different Dormco products. One package, for a Suprima Extra-Height Mini-Shelf, was damaged by the shipper. Several parts were not usable. Dormco immediately sent out replacements for the damaged parts. We received exceptionally polite and helpful customer service. We will definitely order again!

The comforter was perfect! The shipping was true to list. They did try and stuff it in a box that was a little too small, but nothing that packing tape cant handle, apparently! Would totally buy from again.

I was a little intimidated by all the things my new freshman would need to begin his college journey and DormCo really made it easy by having pre made bundles with all the necessities included. I looked at different YouTube videos of what he would need and it was all there for me. After comparing prices to see how much it would cost to order things individually... the price was very competitive and made our shopping easy. Very well organized
