I love all of the items I have bought from Lulus. I was unsure about what kind of quality I would receive as well as if the items looked like they did on the site but they absolutely do. They have such a beautiful array of dresses and the quality is very good for the price. I ended up ordering two more times after I received the first item and fell in love with it.

Save your money and a headache, this store is a scam. I order a purple, xs size dress and I paid for the 2 day delivery and they sent me a pink, Small size dress the cheapest quality and when I emailed them to ask to exchange for the correct dress they said they can't do it and that is what I ordered when I know exactly why I ordered. Worse experience ever. Now I have to go buy another dress because they won't even exchange it for the correct dress.

We ordered a dress and received it quickly but unfortunately, it was not the dress we ordered. I contacted customer service and they reassured me that I would not be charged any return or restocking fees. I sent the dress back and we received a full refund in less than a week. Though our purchase didn't work this time, I would definitely shop with them again.

Lulus is always a decent dining experience. We came for the prefix menu today for Thanksgiving and it was a very nice menu with many items not specific to Thanksgiving. The one issue was the 2nd course. Very strange that all three choices had goat cheese. If you are allergic to goat cheese you are out of luck. Why would a chef design a menu with three goat cheese dishes. Very odd. If someone has an allergy they should be able to do something for them prefix or not. Offer them two soups. It was just bad menu planning.

Lulus is an amazing option for and wedding/bridal events. Their dresses are absolutely beautiful and perfect for before and after ceremonies. They also sell beautiful elegant wedding dresses. Their dresses are also a perfect opportunity to buy brides made dresses. These dresses are reasonable prices and has thousands of different designs.

Shipping was easy and fast. Dress is beautiful just a little low if your on the bustier side but still love it We have to be careful the girls didn't fall out.

I recommend this brand, especially for shoes! The prices are low but the quality is high. You do have to look through reviews to find your size because it does vary between products, but in my last order I received 2 shoes, and they all fit perfectly! It is surprising how inexpensive they are compared to other brands and shops, but they have extremely similar qualities.

Great quality plus they ship really fast. But if you buy clothes and you're from Canada, the prices are in US money and you're gonna pay shipping and really high customs fees. I bought 3 shirts it cost me 35$ plus 15$ for the shipping.

The first time I bought two shirts and it cost me 25$ of customs fees.

I attempted to return a dress I ordered. I read through the instructions in the email which state We want to make this easy. Just print your return label, place it on your package nd drop it in the mail. I do as stated and drop it off at my local post office. This was 4 days ago so I decided I want an update on the status. I plug in the tracking number to google to find out this is actually a UPS tracking number not USPS. Now I am concerned and reach out to lulus via chat and phone. I explain that nowhere in the instructions did it specify it had to be dropped off at a UPS store/facility. The representatives told me I have to drive back to the post office and try to locate the package. This is turning out to be a nightmare and not easy as stated on their site. In the middle of planning a wedding this is very time consuming and stressful.

**UPDATE**
Lulus promptly contacted me and issued me a refund and addressed my concerns.

Update - I was contacted by customer service after this review and given my full refund which I greatly appreciate.

I have been a fan of lulus for a while and consistently ordered A LOT of their clothing. I have never complained or had issues until this week and after the lack of customer service I received I will stop shopping there. The strap on a bathing suit I ordered broke - I purchased this item in January but have yet to wear it since it just became summer - the tag is still on the item. When I contacted customer service they offered a 25% refund so I could go get their item fixed. No one has time for that. I requested a full refund or simply to send a non-defective one and they refused. The woman had the nerve to tell me I should try the item on when I get it - obviously I tried it on to make sure it fit and obviously it didn't break at that time or I would have contacted them a while ago. Very uncool and upsetting. Be careful.

Lulus is a great online store, they have the best bikinis for the best prices. Their items are also of good quality. Customer service is especially helpful when it comes to returns, they offer refunds in the form of store credit.

I have ordered 4 things from Lulus: 3 dresses & 1 pair of heels. All 3 dresses I ordered were white, & the only complaint I have is that they were a little bit see through, but other than that, I'm in love! Their dresses are excellent quality, & their shipping & customer service is fantastic. The heels I ordered are very nice as well. Everything I have ordered fits true to size. I 100% recommend Lulus if you need a cute dress for any occasion!

The products that I ordered aren't the best, but they're of okay quality and the shipping didn't take TOO long. I was scared to order from the site due to all of the negativity around this site during the time that I had ordered the items. But I took the chance and I'm glad I did. Bought a pair of heels and they look great but the heel is supposed to be of a gold color and they REALLY look like silver, also they feel kind of cheap. But considering the price, I'm okay with it.

I purchased two RVCA dresses through Lulus. One was not quite what I was expecting (looked nothing like the model once it arrived-very baggy!) and I sent it back. I don't love that Lulus charges $7 for return shipping. It is a bit extreme for a dress that wasn't as advertised on their website. Otherwise, I have been quite pleased with all of the items I have purchased through Lulus.

After I wrote my review, I realized there was no way Lulu's could have shipped my order on March 12th as the customer service rep told me on the phone, because that was a Sunday and UPS doesn't ship on Sundays. But anyway, after my review posted, Karen J. E-mailed me a stock response about Lulu's return policy along with a free shipping label. At that point I was frustrated, but Lulu's managed to turn things around.
When I emailed Karen that her e-mail solved nothing, she said my credit card would be refunded instead of receiving store credit if I shipped my items back. So I did. After Lulus received it, I was contacted by Tiffany on 5/15/17, who said if I let her know which items I returned, they would refund my card immediately, even before opening the package. She was very nice.
Today is 5/18/17, and my card has been refunded in full. I appreciate all the work Lulu's put into resolving this order.

I'm just writing this to let Lulus know they've lost me forever as a customer.
I've been having a hard time finding clothing since all the stores I used to purchase from have cheapened their products. I was excited to find Lulus. I ordered 4 dresses on March 10,2017. I was starting a house-sitting job on at the end of March, but I thought for sure the items would arrive by then. The dresses didn't arrive until March 20, the day after I left. I wasn't able to return home to get my package until last week (end of April). Nothing fit right. The pink swing dress was huge, the skater dress was cut way too low, and I had no idea how to tie the 2 wrap dresses.

I went online to do the return, but it said I had to call customer service.
I waited on hold for 40 minutes. That is completely unacceptable! I think it says something about the quality of Lulus clothing that that many people need to do returns. It wasn't until I hit the pound key to be called back that someone magically answered the phone. The service rep said as a courtesy for spring purchases they were extending the return to 45 days. That didn't include MY purchase though. I ordered it March 10th, and it arrived March 20th. But she said it shipped March 12th (according to them), so that's the day they count from. Even though it's been LESS than 45 days since I actually RECEIVED it.
She said as a ONE-time courtesy they would give me an online credit if I mailed it tomorrow (May 2nd), at my own expense, of course. Like Lulus is doing me some big favor, giving me store credit so I can buy more of their ill-fitting clothes. And I only get a refund if the clothes pass LULUs "quality inspection," and who knows what that entails! So I might pay to ship it back and not get credit anyway. And then what? They keep the clothes AND your money? Ill just sell the clothes on Ebay.
I thought I found a good company, since the clothes are made in the US. I'm so disappointed. I'll never buy from a small company again. They obviously don't care about customer service.

Ordered the Road to Rome Berry Red Wrap Maxi Dress, it's reviews were great so I took a chance. The dress is pretty, it's a bit difficult to figure out how to properly put it on (it's a wrap dress) and it did not include instructions. The fabric however sadly shows EVERY imperfection or undergarment detail. Unsure if I will return the dress and purchase one similar from another site. I think if you are stick thin with no curves then this is the dress for you.

I love and adore this site. So many cute items and at a decent price for us CND. I had to stop buying from them though because the duties are so much! It's too bad. I order three dress and had to pay over $90 duties. I did have to send 2 back(1 was on sale so I couldn't) and I did fill out the form for our government duty free and they did give me back $60 because I had to return them. It; s too bad! LULU can you please figure out a way to work with them. So much more business would be had here.

One purse was stained with a yellow glue looking substance and the strap on the other broke after the first use. Both purses are really nice and I would purchase from here again, just disappointed what I got had flaws like this.

My prom dress was supposed to be shipping to my house on a Friday, never showed, I tracked the order and it turns out it was sent to a whole different house in another zipcode. Before checking out my dress and buying it, I made sure my address and information was correct and no errors. Now I am short a prom dress and respect for lulus. I called customer service and the operator said that either I pay a fee to get my package or there is nothing I can do since the shipping error was MY fault. Disappointed.

UPDATE:
Shortly after this review, a woman from Lulu's was kind enough to give me a call and an email and was able to work something out. I'm impressed to see that a company can work with such diligence for its customers. Thank you.

Edited: Lulu's customer service immediately reached out and refunded the full price of the dress I returned. I am re-reviewing in order to reflect the immediate customer service recovery, which I really appreciate. I am thankful for their refund of the full sale price of the dress, but would still like to see more transparent policies on the website under the returns section, or at the very minimum, an email address in the refund automated message to which I could have addressed my concerns with the refund process. I would order again if the price is right, knowing that quality is not commensurate with a high-end department store. The dresses I kept are cute and I wish that the one I returned had worked out better for me._____________________________________
Original review:

I ordered four dresses from Lulu's at a total of $266 - of the 4, one was what I would call good quality for the price. The worst of the bunch came nowhere close to appropriate sizing (ordered based on their site's size chart) and was worse quality than I would expect from Target. When I returned the dress, they subtracted the entire value of my promo code from my return price, in addition to subtracting the return shipping cost ($7). I got a $32.00 refund for a $69.00 dress. I can't find anything about coupons being reversed when orders are returned, so the super low refund came as a bit of a shock. Basically I paid $234 for two sundresses and one low quality formal dress. Yikes.

I would expect them not to refund the full purchase price but at least equitably apply the promo code to all items from the order. I'm keeping the other three dresses since I'm in a pinch but certainly would not recommend this site to others.

I would say I am between a 4 and a 5. I have shopped a lot at Lulu's online, so I have quite a few different experiences. My review is for those wary to try on of these side Facebook advertising online only clothing stores. I have tried a few online only clothing stores, and I think we all know most of the time what you receive in the mail is low quality, thin pieces with falsely advertised colors and patterns, which you wear 1-2 times and ditch later.

My thoughts on Lulu's:

-The styles are pretty chic and original / or chic and in fashion, and I always get lots of compliments. I MEAN a LOT of compliments.
-I have quite a few dresses dating back 3-4 years and they have held up well against time.
-I buy Lulu's for the styles they offer - the fabric is good but not great aka the fabric could def be of higher quality. In some ways it is on par or slightly better than what you get from Macy's, but way above Kohls, but def a tad below Express and American Eagle and perhaps even Modcloth. Then again I think generally speaking Lulus is cheaper than Express, and perhaps still even slightly cheaper than the ultimate Express coupon-er. AE items also tend to shrink over time - Lulus doesn't.
-Lulu's is expensive but its a steal when you find dresses on sale, and they do ship you a coupon after every purchase. Maxi's are always a bit more expensive in the 80-120 range for normal nice maxi's for going out or shopping in style, 40-80 for daily maxi wear, and 100-200+ sometimes for formal wear. But these dresses I don't wear 1-2 and forget about them in the back of the closet, I have worn them over and over again.
-They are true to size - I am 5'2'' and change and between 115-120 lbs depending on the time of year and an extra small fits me well. I have had to get some dresses tailored (but only if I really like the style and its worth the $ in the end). If you are in the 100-110 range expect to have things fit loose in some areas or get it tailored. Again, sometimes with these dresses I have found its def worth it. All in all, I like Lulu's because they offer a lot of styles for smaller / shorter women (A line, etc), that compliment our figure rather than fit poorly - aka hits below our waist instead of our waist and makes us look way thicker than we actually are.
-I have tall friends that also have found a lot of styles that compliment them well.
-They do arrive with a return label in the bag.
-Standard handling and shipping is within 5-10 days I have found. A bit on the long side, esp considering how much you spend sometimes to get free shipping.
-I only have had experience with the jewelry (which is cute - a cheaper version of Francesca's but I have had a piece for a year now and it has not tarnished) and shirts and dresses.

All in all, I would say give Lulu's a try.
