As I was taking a shower this morning, I was called to the gate by our helper because someone was looking for me. I hurried out and got myself changed then went downstairs. There was a vehicle right outside our gate and our helper was talking to a man who was carrying a box and some documents. It was my package from Lazada Philippines!
The LBC guy did not want just anybody to receive my package. They wanted me to collect it in person, and that is why I had to be called out of a shower. After handing over my payment and signing the necessary documents, I finally held the package in my hand. I hurriedly took it to my room to check out its contents.
Three days ago, I placed orders on Lazada Philippines. The transaction went perfectly well. At check out I chose to pay by COD (Cash On Delivery). This way, I was sure that I would have the items in my hands before I made any payments. With the numerous online scams these days, you just couldn’t be sure anymore, you know. Since this was my first purchase at the site, I needed the assurance that the site was a legitimate online shopping website. The site guarantees that for Metro Manila orders, the goods would arrive within 2-5 business days. I did not put much thought into this, until the package came within the promised period and 2 full days ahead of the 5 business days, too!
When I opened the box it contained three items, the exact items I had ordered from the site. Each one was wrapped in bubble plastic. This was a good sign that the company takes pains to deliver their products with care. I took each item out of their wrapping and inspected the condition of the goods. They were all in perfect state. I plugged in each one to check that they were working and indeed they were.
To summarize my experience, the order I placed arrived 3 days after the transaction was made, well within the guaranteed 2-5 business days shipping time. The courier (LBC) made sure that I receive my package personally, and that nobody else could. This could be a good thing, then again if you are a busy person who’s always out of the house or of your office, this could present a problem. I don’t know if they allow you to authorize another person to receive your package; that’s something I should probably look into. Finally, the goods arrived in perfect working condition, and I’m now enjoying using them.
All in all, it was a very positive shopping experience. I am truly happy with my purchases and I am also happy with the service I received from Lazada, Philippines.

I've been a satisfied customer before, now I am starting to lose trust in Lazada, and may just cancel my account or escalate this issue further (DTI or whatever org) if this issue is not going to be fixed soon.

As an American who recently arrived in the Philippines, I missed Amazon.com and hoped to replace it with Lazada for all my shopping needs.
My first purchase was a laptop computer. I paid up-front with a credit card, and I was told that the laptop shipped out from Lazada to their shipper and I would receive it no later than July 12. I stayed home and waited all day on the 11th, 12th, and 13th of July for the shipment to arrive. Nothing. I tried calling but only got a recording, so finally just left a written message.
The night of the 13th, I got a message that my order had been cancelled with no explanation. I wrote a couple of angry emails asking why and eventually got a response. They said the published catalog price of 17,389p was a mistake. It should have been 17,499p. So, over 110p on a high profit item which they made a mistake on, they decided not to ship the computer out to me, but of course never bothered to tell me.
I'm not used to dealing with 3rd rate companies like this. In the USA there is no question that a company like Amazon would have gladly eaten the 110p. Not Lazada however. Customer satisfaction obviously means nothing to them. They feel that the prices in their published catalog mean nothing and that they can change them at their leisure and make the customer suffer because of it. It also seems to never have occured to them to phone or email me to let me know they were doing this.
Now based upon many of the comments I've read here, I'm bracing for them keeping my payment and not processing a refund.
Really, I'm absolutely disgusted that companies this incompetent are still in business.

Dalawang beses ko inorder ang item na to kasi. Pero lagi nilang kinacancel. Nakakainis nag hihintay kas sa wala. Hindi naman out of stock ang item pero nakacancel. I had the worst buying experience from Lazada and its supplier, Maharlika. I did not buy a small item, I purchased a big item, an executive office chair ORDER # **************; for a family member who has a medical condition. We ordered this on 11/11/18 and we did not receive the item till after 2-1/2 weeks way past the date they promised. When it arrived, we wanted to inspect and open the box to make sure everything is ok, but the delivery refused us to open it in front of them They said it can be returned in 7 days. Long and behold, when we checked the item, there were missing parts, so we were unable to assemble the chair. Thereafter, it was an ordeal. I communicated with Maharlika and requested for them to send the missing parts instead of sending the chair back an forth. It took another number of days before they responded and said they will send them. Then another numerous days have past, nothing happening. I sent messages but it took them so long to respond and all promises, till yesterday, they are insisting the parts must have fallen, etc etc. I am tired of diffferent excuses, all I wanted was a resolution so we can assemble the chair for which we paid more than 6K, php in CASH.
This time Maharlika said it was the last chair, and they cannot replace, and they are not expecting the parts bto come till another 1-1/2months. Now they are telling me to just refund. It is not easy to refund. It is an ordeal to refund. They will not give you the cash, for the same cash you paid for the chair.
I cant even say it you have the worst customer service, there is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, NADA! This is a complete horror miserable experience, when all I wanted from the beginning is to get a chair for my family member so he can be comfortable in it, since he has a medical condition. I prefer online shopping due to my busy schedule. I did a lot of online transaction with different online shops and thank God I was never scammed yet some are kinda disappointing especially when the courier doesn't care about the item they are handling. But dealing with LAZADA is really dreadful. I ordered a nikon camera which is on sale and paid it right away using my sister's card since i don't have visa or mastercard. They immediately called me and thanking me for my purchase and send me an email as well. After a while another CSR called me and informed me that my order is confirmed however, it will take like 3-4 weeks to be delivered since the item is still in Hong Kong and upon my affirmation, they will place the order there so it could be deliver in 3 to 4 weeks. They were nice and i wasn't on a hurry so I said YES and proceed with my order. Then I received again an email thanking me again for purchase and consideration etc. After 1 week I tried to follow up my order, just hoping to see the status via tracking online and what surprised me was a note saying: "Your item has been completed and it is no longer active in our system". So i was really shocked and I called their hotline. A CSR told me that their system "rejected" my order. REJECTED, that was the term he used so I asked him HOW and WHY. He cannot even give me an answer. WTF! He just told me that it is their technical system's way, again WTF! I asked him why nobody informed me earlier, no one called or even send an email. I was like a stupid one waiting for nothing that if I didn't track my order I will never know anything.
The fact that they REJECTED my order?!?! It was their Technical System that they couldn't even explain and yet they are very fast in collecting payment.
Recommendation: definitely NO
Will try to order from LAZADA again: HELL NO, NEVER!

So, I had this problem. My phone's camera says" Cannot open camera".
Then, I contacted Lazada for the warranty. In the first photo, you can clearly see the Subject of the Email is "Warranty". In the 3rd photo, sila pa mismo ang nagsabi na e-indicate ko daw po is "for availing warranty".
In the 4th photo, nag tanong pa ako kung e-fifill in ko pa yung number of days return at saka yung details of return, nag reply sila na "You dont need too, since it is for availing warranty". Eto na, April 11 ng hapon, dumating yung item ko na nangaling na sa kanila, I was hoping that it was already fixed. But then, the camera is still cannot open. I emailed them right away for them to know na hindi pa ayus. Naki pag coordinate ako sa Service Center ng Torque, Sabi niya, "Bali kasi maam nang yari po kasi jan nireturn nila ulit yung unit nyo po kasi akala nila for replacement since lagpas napo sila ng 7 day replacement.
Kaya binalik po ulit nila pero now tatawagan kopo si lazada."
E, clearly stated naman sa subject ng email ko kay Lazada na WARRANTY. Hindi for replacement. 6th picture, I will be the one na daw po ang mag coordinate sa Service Center ng Torque, e ka ko walang Service Center ng Torque dito sa Iligan City. Ano? Dummy lang yung "Warranty", hindi marunong mag basa ng Return Form na may nakalagay na "FOR AVAILING WARRANTY" na sila na mismo ang nag advice na lagyan ko daw!

Nadoble ko yung order ko. Kinancel ko yung isa with OrderId ******* through online. I even called their customer service to confirm na cancel na yung isa kong order. I just needed to wait 6 hours para magrefresh na cancel na yung order ko sa Order list ko.
And now after more than 6 hours I received an email na shipping na yung both orders ko na pareho! I called their CSR again and wala daw nagcancel ng order ko! Now I need to ask everyone at my house to not accept the extra order I made and I need to wait for another 5 to 16 days para mabawi ko yung binawas nila sa credit card ko!

Answer: You can't tell from online usually. It's why have to purchase from reputable reliable vendors. Someone selling knockoffs, counterfeit and fake products will usually use the OEM specifications and often use the original OEM photos. I always read comments, reviews and most anything else about a seller/vendor to get an idea about what previous buyers had to say. I also look at the OEM website for a list of authorized dealers. Of course there is the "gray market" as well. Vendors who import authentic phones but they are not authorized so they wont have the OEM Manufacturers warranty. Many of these sellers/shops offer an in-house warranty and will repair phones in their own shop. Just realize they won't stock parts so even if they are decent people you may wait weeks for repairs to be completed. Most authorized dealers and repair shops will often just give you a replacement phone (usually remanufactured in pristine condition) or, if a simple repair, may have the parts in-stock. So your best bet is either use an authorized dealer or research to find one of the reliable 3rd party sellers. As the old adage (saying) goes "if it looks too good to be true, it probably isn't. If the price is well below what an authorized dealer or reputable shop, then it's likely it's not an original phone. You may have to save up a little longer to buy but in the long run its usually worth the extra money. Finally, I often look at the OEMs who either sell directly or use one of the bigger retail or online websites (for example, Lazada selling Xiaomi smartphones. At least you are dealing with a seller with written guarantees and refund/return policies that (somewhat) protect the Buyer. The only alternative is to either buy the lowest cost phones that won't break your savings if they break quickly OR buy from one of the Mobile Carriers (Smart, Globe, etc) Hope this helps. Good luck.
