I became a customer of JTV a couple years ago I guess. Since, I have had several rings that I am mostly pleased with but almost as many that stones fell out of or were poor quality. I have had stones fall out of FIVE rings. I ordered a gold chain (about $275) for my son. He had worn it for only hours before he found it off his neck because one of the links wasn't made well and broke - with no force or pulling, just fell off. Customer service is absolutely HORRIBLE - they put you on hold quite often and are "not able" to take care of simple issues. Order from Gemporia instead. Quick shipping (wasn't expected from UK), good products, not as gaudy, and they don't overcharge shipping (one flat rate $4.95 per ORDER, not per ITEM - FROM UK!)

Products inferior

In the last year I have purchased three rings, stud earrings, and a cross necklace. All were from the Bella Lucie Brand. All were Sterling Silver with rhodium coating. Within two months all jewelry was black, dull, ugly. Soap and water cleaning did not help. I did not contact customer service because I had no info about the products. When I find an inferior product, I never use that company or brand again. What a waste of my money. So they HTC just lost another customer.

Quality Has Dropped

I've been buying from JTV for about 4 years now. I have received some magnificent pieces, particularly in the moissanite line, so it's not been all bad. But one product comes to mind... I bought a 3ct princess cut moissanite ring in gold over about 2 years ago. Loved the ring and wore it a lot, yet was very careful with it. About 3 months ago, the band, setting and prongs started turning black with tarnish. I would bring it to the jeweler to have it cleaned and the next week the same thing would happen. He raved about the stone, so I decided to have him save the stone and design me the same ring, but in 14K gold. $3,000 later, it is a stunner of a ring now -- the stone should have been in solid gold to begin with. But I feel like I've been duped -- I paid about $700 for that gold over ring, that lasted all of 2 years. And if I couldn't have afforded to have a new ring created, I would have had to throw the ring in the trash. Costume jewelry lasts longer than that! I remember the old Monet gold chains that would stay as shiny as real gold for 20 years! My advice -- do not ever buy gold over anything from JTV -- unless you planning on purchasing a disposable product.

What the what?

I bought an aqua marine ring. A few months later a stone fell out. Inside the setting was painted aqua marine color. They always talk up the (rich) color of their "gemstones"? I guess so. Very disappointed. I feel hood winked.

From China?!

I just received a Tehya Oyama Turquoise, Kingman Turquoise ring, with Cultured Freshwater Pearl, 18k Gold Over Brass Ring. It's pretty. Upon opening the box, there was a little tag on the ring with a bar code displaying the item # and China. What does this ring have to do with China?! It's suppose to be a Turquoise stone from the Kingman mines, in Arizona?! Which are now closed. Did they have to send the ring to China for the freshwater pearls? My last purchase.

My delivery was not on time and was 2 days late after paying for overnight shipping.
My delivery was supposed to happen on February 13,2018 prior to Valentine's Day. My delivery is supposed to arrived February 16,2018. I am still waiting.

I will never purchase anything for JTV again.

It was probably a pretty necklace. My valentines present was lost in the mail. According to UPS you often post electronic shipping notifications that are not attached to a physical package. UPS also said JTV also often claims to mail packages and never does. We either want the item or the money back, but you refuse to produce either one. My family orders several times a year and it's always a headache. This is going to be the last straw. Jtv contracts with UPS to be the exclusive provider with exchange that UPS carry the insurance on all the packages. This way JTV isn't paying the insurance premium or having to be responsible for lost packages. UPS will be paying us back not JTV and they may have never even sent the package. So it sounds like JTV got paid for the necklace from us. kept the necklace and blamed it on the shipping so UPS takes the insurance and never get investigated because its less than $100 bucks. You suck!

Nothing But Mistakes

I wanted to order by phone, and called to see if my JTV Preferred account could be reopened. I was told it was still open. That wasnt true. My order was carted, and my donation to AHA wasnt made. I called later to add an item, and asked if my JTV Preferredaccount was open, and told yes. I asked her to finish the sale. She said she did. I called back later to add an item and was told I had an item in the cart, did I want it. I said I was buying, not carting, and couldnt understand why they didnt want to complete the sale. I asked for a manager and was hung up on. I called again and asked for a manager. My call was not put through, and didnt sound like it was in a phone system at all. I wasted 2 hours not shopping with JTV today because no one was smart enough to tell me my account needed to be reopened, instead of saying it was. I wasted my time and got nothing but being hung up on and put on a non-hold also. Their agents are very unhelpful and give wrong answers. Dont waste your timewithJTV. They dont care. Their agents get away with all kinds of mistakes and are even argumentative.

Hello June, this experience is not something you should have been put through and for that we apologize. We've taken this feedback and have forwarded it to our customer care manager to make sure it is addressed and so that it won't happen again. Our agents are unable to see whether or not a JTV Preferred account is open or not as we are not the ones who manage that information, the agents can only see if you have a card on your account. It's the same if you went to a store to buy something on your credit card, the cashier cannot tell if your account is active or not and can only swipe the card. Not Happy

I have 3 products ordered in Aug, still have not received them. JTV had been sending me items since 11/2016 to proper address, All of a sudden for some reason converted my address back part of an older address, but my street # only. Talking with a rep about not getting products he told me sorry shows shipped nothing they will do about it. I've talked w/post office here they showed me label from a picture they took because JTV had my street# correct but nothing else. What gives, needless to say JTV doesn't have my business anymore. And somewhere my products are either lonely or on someone elses wrist and fingers!

Shipping charges

Well jtv is back to charging ridiculous amounts for shipping. I have a $300 order in my cart and they want to charge $50 in shipping fees. Yes, you read that right. I called to complain but it won't go anywhere. I just read an article last week about how they are undergoing massive expansion to increase their business presence worldwide. I guess they figure their valued customers can pay for it. I, for one, will shop with their competitors until they go back to a more reasonable policy

Had to write an update. I quit watching for a while but I felt my previous review was a little harsh. There was a host who was talking about who she was praying for, and there are A LOT of crosses. The holidays there are Christmas, but not inclusive of other beliefs (and yes, some of the hosts really need a makeover/makeunder). They are in Knoxville, TN. That being said, I do buy some of their jewelry and I am usually pleased with it. If I'm not happy it goes back, which is a pain, but thats true any time you order something online.

Lately I've ordered a few items from JTV but half of them had to go back for one reason or another. I have been watching the channel a fair amount, but I had to turn it off because I can't decide if they're selling jewelry or the Christian religion! So. Many. Crosses! Crosses, crosses, angels, angel wings, Hand of God jewelry, etc. etc. And the hosts go on and on about their faith and who they're praying for... goodness! A little diversity, please! And I hope some of the hosts will update their hair and makeup, they're stuck in the 80's.

Been customer since u paid for ur own calls. By latest calculations have spent over $17,000 with JTV. Commented on Jewel School Facebook to Sheree Henry the other day 'why the item counting?' She counts items 1 by 1 sometimes as many as 12 or 15, wasting time. I said, 'I was there to expand my jewelry making knowledge not for a remedial pre k lesson in math'. I also said 'as an aside You should dress more age appropriately'. Which as an older woman she SHOULD dress in a more professional manner. Today I tried to ask a question of the guest on facebook live & found that I am now blocked. U know, I could have been more crass & said that she was an old woman and looks trashy dressing the way she does. Needless to say, I will no longer be shopping with JTV or Jewel School & will be spreading the word by all means, including social media of my experience.

Who has the real thing?

About two months ago I bought a ring from JTV. I always thought their designs were
Exclusive to them. I paid 39.00$ for the ring... Today I found the same sterling silver ring on another site, for 2.99$. I ordered the imitation today, it will be interesting to see which one is better or are they the same quality. What would you rather pay, 39.00$ or 2.99$ for the same thing? I'm going for the 2.99 version, that way I don't have to pay shipping and worry about stones falling out!

Not as good as I thought6

I am no longer going to purchase any other jewelry from jtv. My gemstone rings are guaranteed to lose the stones within three months of purchase. Every gemstone ring I've purchased for myself or as a gift this has happened to. Some within one week of wearing the piece. I have given them a large amo u my of business and I've given them the benefit of the doubt numerous times and feel like I've been taken advantage of for a quick buck. I will pay off my jtv account and proceed to forget they exist. Even my Bali jewelry is fall in g apart. I've paid a lot of hard earned money for some pieces and the heavy "sterling" bangles I've purchased have broken. What a joke. Missing stones, broken silver, please I'll give so much for being hard on my jewelry but I don't wear it doing construction work or something heavy for a heavy, thick bangle bracelet to break. I'm done once the bill is paid. Beware of their sales pitch on TV. Sound convincing but they've lost me.

I land on the JTV channel for mindless viewing when CNN and MSNCB has commercials. I think SNL, if they haven't already, should do a comedy sketch on the hosts of JTV as there is so much material to work with:^). I'm in agreement with you in regards to hawking their religious artifacts. But then again they are based in Tennessee and you know how much country folk love their superstitious myths. Lol. I have to laugh when one of the hosts say that I need to get one of their jewelry pieces in my life. I talk back and say " I'm picking up the phone now"."I'm dialing". When of course I'm not. Lol. Over all I enjoy watching the show as I find the different personalities interesting as they have some heavy hitters. Sad though that there are so many whose addiction they are feeding. What I wish though is that they would say an item is $100.00 and none of this $99.99 bs. Lol. Say it! IT'S A HUNDRED DOLLARS! Lol

I have made two previous purchases from JTV and returned both of them because they looked cheap. This time I only paid $47 plus shipping for a lab-created ruby ring. I'll keep it because I don't want to pay the flat return cost plus shipping. And I'll wear the ring, even though there's a chip on the girdle that catches my fingernail! And the cushion cut top is crooked. I will keep it because the stone is a gorgeous red with the lavender hues of a true ruby, but I'll make sure to tell everyone it's JTV = crappy quality.
