Mixed feelings.
November 14, 2022

Okay, the jewelery I have gotten has been pretty decent. Your not going to get top of the line best designer jewelry here. If you want that jewelry you should have the money for it. (I don't, that's why I like JTV.) So far I have no real quality complaints. Only one time did a braclet fall apart on me, and two of the rings - out of maybe 12 total pieces- though they did look like the picture, just didn't meet my expectations. Which is okay. I'm picky and I know it. My issues are in that when I got behind on a couple payments, I gave them a newly opened credit card that I opened for an emergency I had at the time, expecting them to only take one payment each on three pieces I was still paying. Well they took all of them. Thank God the card had enough to cover the original reason I opened it up, but that really messed me up as I wasn't prepared for that. It maxed it and docked my credit rating pretty hard. Made it so I couldn't get a consolidated card. The other issue I have is that I never received any cert of authenticity with my jewelry. I can tell it is what it says as my diamond sparkles my moissanite does to, and you can tell the difference side by side only. They pass the hardness and temp test. Plus the silver rings I have polish up easly and I hardly ever have to polish them. My diamond ring consists of smaller diamonds in the band and I lost one right away. I didn't purchase the protection and I should have. Anyway, now that I find myself in a tight financial situation where I need gas money, I can't resell because I have no certificate of authenticity. Every time I mentioned this when I was discussing payments with them, I was completely ignored. They only focused on the date I could pay. This was about 1½ years ago and I have everything paid long ago. I'm so sick with it. I didn't really expect it to be an issue at the time because I always told myself, I'll get it next time I talk to them. I guess I had so much going on it ended up slipping my mind. I'm really upset about it because they should have answered me or discussed it the times I brought it up in either email or on the phone. Now so much time has passed, I would be pleasantly surprised if I can get a hold of those certificates of authenticity. I see they still have some of the jewelry I bought. Anyway, that's my experience with them and I hope it helps you navigate your choices. Btw, the pictures are just today and I wear these everyday. They still look good. They are definitely not wish knock offs like another reviewer left. I don't want to take away from her experience, but who knows if her real names is Karen or not.( PS this is about wish, I have gotten some quality off of wish, just not jewelry! And you really do need to read the descriptions and reviews. They usually give you a pretty accurate quality control. Know what you want and do research if it's electronics. Or you'll get stuck with low quality. There hard drives are phenomenal as far as bang for your buck.)

SO PISSED OFF! I WANT TO TALK TO THE PRESIDENT OF JTV AND A CLASS ACTION LAWYER...NOW!
June 16, 2022

I AM TOLD THAT THE STONES ARE NOT REAL OR BEING FAKED TO HIDE HOW WORTHLESS THEY ARE! I NEED THE PRESIDENT OF THIS COMPANY TO CONTACT ME! OR IF THERE IS A CLASS ACTION LAWYER WILLING TO SUE JTV.PLEASE CONTACT ME IMMEDIATELY. I CANT EVEN RESELL THIS CRAP WITHOUT PASSING ON THE LIES JTV TOLD WHEN THEY SOLD THIS WORTHLESS CRAP!? SO, I INHERITED A BUNCH OF JEWELRY, AND THE TAGS ARE STILL ON, SO I WAS ABLE TO LOOK IT UP ON JTV AND SEE THE PRICES MOST LIKELY PAID AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE. TOOK SEVERAL TO THE J STORE TO HAVE THEM LOOKED AT... ALL OF THEM WERE OVER PRICED AND NOT WORTH BUYING OR SELLING. MY SISTER SPOKE WITH CS AND SHE WAS TOLD THAT BECAUSE ITS PAST THE TIME TO RETURN( DUE TO MY MOM HAVING DEMENTIA WHEN SHE PURCHASED AND WE DIDNT KNOW IT) SINCE MY MOM WASNT CAPAPBLE OF RETURNING... THAT THERE MAY BE SOME ITEMS THEY WILL TAKE BACK BUT WITH A 25% "RESTOCKING FEE" WITH NO TAX, SHIPPING, OR JTV SHOPPER CASH REFUNDED? THIS JEWELRY GIVES AN ESTIMATED RETAIL VALUE AT LEAST 2 TIMES THE AMOUNT THEY SOLD IT FOR... ONLY TO FIND OUT... ITS BARELY WORTH 1/3 OF WHAT SHE PAID IN MOST CASES... IM ESPECIALLY DISAPPOINTED IN JUST THE PRICE OF ONE RING ESP... A CREATED MORGANITE, WITH FAKE STONES SURROUNDING IT SET IN ROSE GOLD OVER STERLING... IT WAS OVER $1000?
FOR A COMPLETELY FAKE RING I COULD GET AT JC PENNYS FOR UNDER $40!
MY SISTER AND I ARE AT A LOSS AS TO WHAT TO DO IN TRYING TO RETURN ANY OF IT... WITHOUT KNOWING IF THEY CAN BE TRUSTED TO TAKE BACK WHAT SHE BOUGHT FROM THEM IN GOOD FAITH AND NOT SAY THAT WHAT THEY RECEIVED WAS FAKE OR NOT WHAT THEY SOLD TO HER,... NOT TO MENTION HOW MUCH OF A LOSS SHE WOULD TAKE FOR THE RETURN. I FEEL LIKE THE ONLY WAY TO KNOW FOR SURE, WOULD BE TO PUT THIS IN SUITCASES AND FLY TO JTV AND HAVE THEM RETURN EACH ITEM INDIVIDUALLY AND TO SEE IF ITS WORTH IT. KNOWING WHAT WE KNOW NOW, HOW CAN WE SELL IT TO SOMEONE WITHOUT DISCLOSING HOW BAD THEY ARE AND HOW MUCH LESS THEY ARE WORTH?
I WONT SAY JUST HOW MUCH SHE PURCHASED BUT ITS ENOUGH FOR A GOOD DOWN PAYMENT ON A HOUSE OR A HOUSE OUTRIGHT IN THE MIDWEST. PS. WHY IS THIS WEBSITE ASKING FOR PROOF? I CANT POST MY INVOICES FOR EVERYONE TO SEE?

Tip for consumers:

TAKE IT TO A JEWELRY STORE IMMEDIATELY...

January 21, 2022

These people are crinminals. FOR OVER 15 YEARS I OCCASSIONALLY WATCH JTV-NEVER ONCE HAVE I EVER SEEN A BLACK HOST OR PERSON SELLING- YET THEY SELL TANZANITE AND OTHER EXOTIC JEWLERY. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
October 10, 2021

WOW... what a horrible experience. I watched JTV as a first-time customer and decided to purchase items from their evening deals. In the last fifteen minutes of the segment, they introduced the Bella Luce tennis bracelets... I knew my daughter wanted one of these for Christmas so I called her to try and get her wrist size (and measure mine)... my cart had been set with a few more items from their second tray and I had all the promotional info in the cart and was ready to go with the added 15% discount to boot... As I was setting up the account and just prior to purchasing all the pricing went away it was only a few minutes after midnight, so I called customer servic for assistance, should have been an easy fix, umm no! She pawned me off to chat, claiming they could pull my cart and easily make the adjustment and process my order. Chatting on an iphone while trying to discuss my cart was impossible as the site is very tempermental and the chat was lost FOUR TIMES! Each time I had to go to great lengths to get the Representative to understand me... and had to repeat my self over and over... I had the cart built with all the promotions all they had to do was pull it, adjust pricing and let me finish processing with payment. In the end 2 hours later... really 2 hours... I was told to call customer service to have them place the order as they couldn't see my cart and building it back from the screen shots I sent them to show the pricing and promotionns wasn't going to allow me then to pay for the cart? What...? Are you kidding me? So, I called customer service and while the Representative said she would be happy to honor the pricing I had for the ring the added promotional discounts she wouldn't honor. After everything I went through I no longer wanted any of it! At this point after all the wasted time dealing with inept "Customer Service" I lost all desire to do business with this company. Wasted my time, irritated the heck out of me, in the end I was still polite but had had it! I have other jewlery companies I work with that give REAL "Customer Service". In 15 years of online ordering I've never had any issues like I experienced tonight and I hope I never do again. (OH btw... I was a Key Account Manager in Ecommerce and know what online Customer Care should look like AND sound like. This company misses the mark completely! FYI the one who should have had attitude wasn't your Customer Care Representatives! In the end I didn't place my order becuase I didn't want the to profit a company I had such a bad experience with, or give the Representative a Sale she didn't deserve. I would never have enjoyed wearing the jewlery after tonight. Ignorance is bliss, I 'm sure if I hadn't needed "Customer Care" I might have purchased and been happy with my pieces. Unfortunately, I didn need assistance and my experience was horrible.

Tip for consumers:

As long as you don't need to deal with customer care you should be fine, no one acts like they want to help you, they just want to get you off their line quickly. I didn't get a resolution to my issue so I didn't place my order and won't be doing business with this company in the future because my experience was sooo frustrating.

I Always Wait For Clearance
March 17, 2016

I see people on here grousing about stuff they bought from jtv. One was complaining about losing a tiny diamond from a ring. If you are not careful with multistoned settings it will happen no matter where you bought. Other people complain about glued in stones falling out, I always check the web site for info on the setting glued, bezel or prong. This helps me decide whether to get an item or not, glued items need to be kept out of water as much as possible because it is GLUE and will get weaker every time it is wet. If you are buying the cheapest stuff they have it is not real gemstones so yes it could look like junk. My point is buyers need to know and understand what they are buying so they understand how to take care of it. I have bought many things since 2007 and yes some things were sent back because I didn't like the quality or style when I saw it at home. My returns are processed in a timely fashion for a smart label, these do not get handled like regular mail, it's slower so I went back to paying for my own shipping and learned its cheaper and faster. I have kept most of my purchases however and have had no problems with losing stones because 1. I don't sleep in my jewelry, prongs get stuck in bedding and brake, 2. Never wear jewelry when cleaning, cleaning agents are caustic and will change color of stones, plus break down metals so prongs break, 3. Don not put alcohol based hand sanitizer or wear swimming, alcohol and chlorine are really caustic on all metals causing weakness which leads to breaks and more lost stones. I understand that jewelry should hold up to wear but if you aren't taking care of it properly you will have problems, the golden rule is wear with care. Every ring that I have purchased from them has all the stones and I have several multistone rings. I am pleased with all my loose gemstones that I buy, understanding that since mother earth created it will not always be perfect and I do my research of other places to make sure the price is not way out there, usually buy my stones on clearance and have some very nice rare gems. I saw another complaining about hand setting, they are handset pieces in mass quantities and yes made in china but guess what, so is everyone else's jewelry and they are more pricey on the other networks and less informed. I agree that the hosts can be rather pushy with their pitch but they are selling something so that makes them salespeople and everywhere you go you get pushed to buy by a salesperson, it's their job!

"Correction to its time for eastern BBB of TN to know the truth"
November 9, 2015

I wrote a review on 11/9/15 about bait and switch tactics and theft of precious gemstones. I was happy to read my review on sitejabber but realized I must correct the facts. I wrote that four times I purchased the same Madagascan Blue Sapphire princess cut that was described as Madagascan Blue Sapphire calibrated 6 mm. Princess cut. 70ct. Every time I received a purple Tourmaline square step up cut from JTV I received information that JTV never had or sold a Purple Tourmaline square step up cut gemstone in their inventory. Also each time I paid $120.-$150. For said Madagascan Sapphire. I checked the Purple Tourmaline in a JTV refractometer every time and results where, are the same numbers to the SEMI-PRECIOUS tourmaline. At that time and still now the amount of money charged for a melee princess cut blue sapphire was $1000-$2000 wholesale according to the magazine GEM GUIDE which is a BI-Monthly magazine that most reputable gem jewelry stores refer to value gemstones: precious, semi-precious, pearls, and diamonds. I have also had items straight stolen switched for very low quality stones such as emeralds, opals, rubies I have orders cancelled that I won on the auction site when it was still working before the president of JTV decided to liquidate the entire jtv auction site and inventory. Even though I got many good deals thru the auction and build a bargain also other specials since Jerry passed away the company has and will contnue to go down hill. I think it had to be someone high up on the employee chain to have access to switch gems change items weights clean out entire inventories of item SBR055 7mm round Madagascan Blue Sapphire from. 75ct. To. 60ct. In the middle of a auction the change the item description page so they could take all the. 75ct which most weighed. 88ct to. 60ct which most weigh. 72ct. I informed them then they change the weight of said item before the auction was over so they changed the item description. Please JTV respond to this review by answering what happen to the. 75ct. Round Sapphires SBR055 and who in your team of employees ripped me and JTV off MR. Tim Matthews or Jay Boyle he knows what inventory consisted of. Jay Boyle is not the bad guy he in fact got some of the items for me that where switched on me. Jay Boyle is the senior buyer and knows the inventory. This would have never happened if Jerry was still alive with his good business ethics which Tim Mathews lacks or has none. Where is the tanzanite, ethiopian opals, peridot, spinels, sapphires and others its cheap bella luche jewery and B grade color tanzanite. Dont try to defend this company as I seen with other people counter reviews they are people that wear suits which in my mind is a mark of a thief, thieves? Anybody else have the same things happen yet? Thank you for letting me post this corrected review. JayC
