JTV is now plating everything with Rhodium and it's a really bad thing. Rhodium goes dull very, very fast. And they are plating almost EVERYTHING with it now! Rings from Belk's Department Store last longer! This new CEO, Tim, is taking JTV down the drain! Returns are being made difficult. JTV did not used to be like this but this new company sucks; they have turned into CON-ARTISTS! AS OF OCTOBER, 2018, STAY AWAY FROM JTV!

Jtv. Closed the auction site. Recently I have some bad experience with them. I won several items they never shipped to me but they withdrew the money. I had to write to the customer service everyday for over a month until I get a response and to wait another weeks to have my money refunded. Also, I was the highest bid several times and they just ignored the fact.
Now their jtv. Final sale site that replaces the auction one is simply a rippoff. You find junk for prices 6times higher than you may purchase in a store. They put up on sale all the Mounika fiend junk and other brand names, that are custom jewlery for ridiculous prices, basically they raised the prices for their unsalable junk under the fake name of final sale. Customers be aware.
From the moment I heard that Paula Deen was going to have a show and a line of merchandise on your network I turned off JTV for good. I am appalled that JTV would hire a known bigot and racist, and promote her merchandise. I thought JTV was an inclusive entity - not one wishing to exclude anyone based on color, religion, gender identity, etc. I cannot tell you how to run your business, but you will not be getting any more of mine. After literally THOUSANDS of orders, I will never be placing another one.

I must say I am very shocked at all the negative reviews. I have been a loyal customer to JTV for a year now and I have never one issue with them. Anytime the jewelry is defective ( which has only occurred once for me), the customer service is great and will send you a return label and get your new jewelry right out to you. I have ordered several pieces from JTV and use them solely to build up my jewelry collection. The online ordering process is very easy and the shipping is fairly quick too. Also, my favorite part of JTV, the stretch pay option is a really convenient way for people like me (college student, not so much money to play with) to own nice fine jewelry without the huge up front price tag. Their jewelry is truly great quality and their customer service is fantastic.
I just had to put my experience out there. It makes me sad to see so many bad reviews of JTV because they have never done any wrong to me. Because of them I am able to build my collection of gorgeous jewelry now and not have to wait until I have graduated college and am making more money.
Their jewelry is WAYYY OVER PRICED, CHEAPLY made, and POOR quality for 10-14K gold. Ring break (split) in less than a month. They do not like to refund money for item(s) that were not received by purchaser (account holder). Customer service agrees to refund. You sign the claim, send it back and get denied a refund and expect you to file a police report on someone you don't know, never heard of, mystery. But they still want to take your money (stretch pays) out of your bank account for 5 months. NOT MY MONEY! They are thieves. Better Business Bureau.

I send back a ring within one day of recieving in mail, I called a week ago to make sure they had it and they did I called again a week later customer service told me they were behind in processing due to I don't know what she said at that point because I had tuned her out she than told me it would be another week to return to my card!

If at all possible, pay in full for items or you stretch pay. A representative assured me that a soft credit pull would be done through Synchrony Bank, (29.99% rate), but a hard credit pull was done. This has a major impact to credit scores. I advise the rep I spoke with a JTV that I was recently the victim of identity theft and did not want to have a hard credit report pulled. When I called JTV I was speaking with numerous people and was constantly transferred and was ultimately told that they would call Synchrony Bank with me on the phone, which was done only after speaking with numerous people. Neither JTV nor Synchrony Bank are willing to help with this credit inquiry.
Long story short, be sure you know the difference between a hard credit pull l and a soft credit pull and the impact it has on your credit. If that's not enough to discourage you, realize that Synchrony Bank is charging you an absolutely ridiculous rate of 29.99% interest unless you pay the item off and fall within whatever promotional time you are offered with said purchase.

Was a good customer to JTV. Boy was I sucked in well, and being ill it seemed so important that I left a "legacy" as the host says for my children, and future grandchildren. Well two of my legacy pieces were not as stated. I received two letters in one week from JTV, first was a letter saying the Praisiolite ring I order was found to be an artificial stone... WHAT, the second was to tell me a Mystic Topaz ring I ordered was more than 5 carats less than what it was sold for. I thought these were experts, no one noticed? They gave 3 days to return the items from receipt of letter, the most shocking is the end the letter with "we hope you are enjoying your jewelry"! I'm not sure what to do? So sad, feeling stupid and ashamed for believing they really cared, and am sick over the money. Watching now I realize they talk about their pre show meetings, then why are the always so surprised by the price of the item as if it was a gift from Heaven that just dropped into their studio. One more thing please don't buy their diamonds, you do get what you pay for! This has been a sad situation that has only become worse thanks to JTV!
Instead of stones being prong or bezel set, I'm finding they are glued in. You can often see the sloppy work on the back of the stone. Very disappointing.

I bought a few Ruby items for my daughter for Christmas. The Ruby bracelet came to me with two stones missing., returned it, came back with one stone missing, returned it came back fine, my daughter wore it once in her house, and a stone fell out again! That was the fourth time returned, waiting now for re-embursement. I will NEVER buy from this company again! I think four times is quite enough for them to get it right... but noooooo. Not only is it STRESSFUL to continue returning the same bracelet, four times but most inconvenient, aggrevating, time consuming! NEVER AGAIN.

My Aunt (87 years young) thought she was investing for the future. I have tried to sell her loose gems she has collected thru the years, as she needs to have income for her rent. (Almost $50,000 spent if not more at JTV the last 10 years). NO ONE WANTS THEM. THEY ARE NOT REAL!

These pieces are fairly decent copies of much more expensive jewelry. I have ordered from them three times and shipping is ALWAYS A PROBLEM. Items can take up to 3 to 4 weeks to arrive. Now they are telling me it is because of Covid. There was NO COVID THE OTHER TIMES. I ordered two items over a month in advance as birthday presents they are not here. The last I heard I will have to wait another week to claim non delivery and then they will think about a refund.

I thought I'd try and order from JTV, we'll, the experience was beyond painful. When calling customer service, I never got the same response. My first attempt in ordering was a 5 rings set. Not even within 24 hours, 3 stones were missing. JTV sent another set. Because the order was under $ 50, no shipping cost was applied nor duty/custom.
Well, my second order was frustrating and the continuous excuses given was beyond my comprehension. So, I ordered 2 pieces which were suppose to be shipped via UPS. Upon receipt at Canada Post (Canada), I was told that there was duty/customs/ shipping and tax charges of approximately $40. Therefore, I refused the package and returned it back. Return to sender. I contacted customer service and one of the outrageous reasons was " JTV applies shipping charges on EACH piece prior to shipping". Therefore, if I order 10 pieces, shipping cost is applied on EACH piece? I could not understand the reasoning. Are the 10 pieces not in the same 1 package? Why is JTV
Charging for each piece BUT JTV shipped them in 1 package and paid postage for that package.
What I'm trying to express and what was explained to me was that ANY orders below $50, no extra charges are applied? Beyond confused and what a scam. Never again will I order from JTV again.

Answer: As a longtime shopper, I can vouch that the gemstones are real. If it's a lab-created version of more expensive gems (i. E. Lab Emerald, Lab Ruby, CZ, etc), the title & description will reflect that. Although quality control is hit & miss, I've tested/appraised hundreds of stones from JTV & haven't had any issues with authenticity. Their treatment disclosures are pretty good for the industry. Might I suggest perusing eBay, too? Lots of resalers (like me) can offer better prices on legit stones & jewelry... plus you get the benefit of knowing your seller has already checked for cracks, chips, etc. To be safe, only buy from US sellers & ask questions to ensure they can respond with some knowledge about their goods. Answer: I have several pieces of Moissanite set in Platineve and have not had any problems. I've had some of my pieces for a few years and am happy with the way they have held up. Moissanite is more expensive than CZ's and I wouldn't expect anything less from Charles & Colvard to set these stones in to. Hope this helps!
