I ordered a so-called gold ring with diamonds and less than a month the ring started turning. The "gold" was literally coming off. I only wore the ring to work, of the which I have a desk job typing all day. I did not wear the ring when I was home, it went in my jewelry box. Needless to say the ring was NOT gold. I sent it back on the 3rd of April and when I track the ring it only one state away from where I live and today is the 13th. So it's bad enough the ring was not gold, now the ring has sat in one location for 2 days without moving at all and JTV can't tell me anything. I paid a nice amount of money for this cheap ring and I just want my money back. When I got the package it didn't take this long... why is it taking so long to get back to JTV. And the so-called tracking number does not work so I can get more information on the ring. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN!
I have purchased many items from JTV, over $1,000, maybe even $2,000 just to find out months later that their 100% silver items tarnish after cleaning AND THEY WON'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT! I bought the cleaner from a jewelry store, it wasn't just some crap from a less reputable store. Followed the directions to the T only to have my jewelry turn yellow and tarnish! Called JTV spoke to several people (supervisors, customer service, etc) the only option they would offer was to buy another of the same item, my chain alone was over $150.00 and they refuse to do Anything except ask me to spend more money. There policies are garbage and so is their jewelry! SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AND STAY AWAY!
I am an insomniac... my tv in set to JTV all the time, through the early mornings... I have been a customer & viewer since JTV just sold gemstones... I have purchased several hundreds & hundred dollars worth their gem stones & jewelry... recently I had to close my mother's account & because she used my address & phone number, my accout was cancelled too., But, my point in writing, is to make it clear, that I have no idea what these writers are saying... In all my time with JTV I've NEVER had one single problem, like they've written about... One time I did order & receive a ring, that I believed didn't live up to the sales persons pitch... I had also bought the protection package... I mailed the ring back & JTV replaced the ring & protection card with-in a month... The replacement ring not only lived up to, but surpassed the original sales pitch... This has been the constant norm for me... So in closing I will say this... some people will complain & make a mountain out of a mole hill, about anything... the majority of these complainers prove that... But right now, I'm going to look into buying some blue zircon... they look just yummy!...
I started ordering from JTV about 6 months ago and found the merchandise very pretty. Then I clicked on the JTV Auctions website and found more pretty jewelry. What I didn't realize was "they" have at least 7 pseudo names being used to jack up the prices which are sometimes more than the actual selling price, the first one detected was Tracy, and then Sherla, Yvonne, etc. If you have already bided on an item and not realizing it, you bid again, the system says "Cannot place a bid. You are the highest bidder." BUT with the pseudo names going against you, it appears that you've bided yourself higher numerous times because the pseudo name disappears. JTV can come back and say "Oh, that's an actual bidder." NOT. Once you top the pseudo name, it is deleted from the records. I've also been the high bidder and waited 5 minutes after the bid closed, left the site, gone back and the pseudo name has bided at least 6 hours prior to my bid.
After a couple months and not realizing I had the item, I began to order duplicates on the auction site. So I started sending them back. I've found that it takes almost 30 days from the time of the return order to get the credit made to my credit card.
The Better Business Bureau doesn't have an accreditation for JTV or JTV auctions. I wonder why?
I RETURNED A LARGE NUMBER OF ITEMS DUE TO FINANCIAL ISSUES, NONE OF THESE HAD BEEN WORN. JTV CHARGED ME RESTOCKING FEES, STATING THAT THEY HAD ANALYZED THE ITEMS, AND SEVERAL WERE WORN. I FOUGHT THIS ALL THE WAY TO THE CORPORATE OFFICE AND WAS READ THE SAME SCRIPT OVER AND OVER AGAIN, HOW THEIR RETURNS DEPT HAS CRITERIA BY WHICH THEY JUDGE ITEMS HAVE BEEN WORN. I HAVE FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE BBB, HOPING TO GET REFUNDED THE RESTOCKING FEES, WHICH KATIE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE PROMISED TO HANDLE HERSELF. OBVIOUSLY, KATIE DID NOTHING BUT GIVE OUT WRONG INFORMATION.
Received my ring yesterday with high anticipation. I love the setting and size, but the stones were pathetic. Would look better with nice quality czs rather than such poor stone quality.
I've ordered many parcels from JTV, but this LAST one, the "SPICE MIX", was actually RIDICULOUS. So much for their advertising. What I received were such MINISCULE pieces one would NEED A LOUPE in order to see them. I was going to type 'CHIPS', but some truly WERE CHIPS, and some of the stones WERE CHIPPED. This was absolutely RIDICULOUS, and very very happy to have had the 30 day money back option, because this went DIRECTLY BACK. I AM HESITANT TO ATTEMPT ANOTHER PARCEL ORDER FROM JTV!
I would not give them a rating of one they should not even be in business! You are not getting what they are saying you are getting as far as the price you are paying full price if not more. You are also paying shipping and handling every single time. They are trying to charge me three times more than what I should have to pay. They treat people like they're stupid and will try to blame it on the person. I even received three things that were the same out of two different orders I never even ordered. Then they tried to say I ordered them no I did not. I don't appreciate being treated like this by any company. Or whoever they may be. They may be scammers. I'm not sure. But do not trust this place whatsoever I promise you you will regret it. They lost a lot of business from me and my mother. Including other people I had told them about but I've called them all back and warned them do not do it. Best Return Policy Ever. Great Customer Service for 4 yrs. Great variety: costume, gold, silver, real jewels far more rare than diamonds - and diamonds. Better prices than Ebay, online, or brick/mortar stores. Educated hosts (check the credentials) educate me. JTV hosts are great! Real people from real America - no psuedo artsy snobs. Last pic: tsavorite garnet 10k earrings, 14k tanzanite beads, silver tourmaline bracelet, Keith Jack silver over 22k earrings. Stretch pay, auction & card w/interest free option made these & more possible. Hint: like anything else, don't let interest free option expire!

Overall, a poorly-produced show--bad camera angles (can't see the item well), bad lighting. The hosts look quite scrappy, gaudy and cheap, and badly in need of professional makeup and hair personnel, there's way too much EXTREMELY meaningless chatter and not enough presentation of product. 95% of the time when I've tried to tune in, the camera is focused on the host(s) speaking which goes on and on and on! Really? Aren't you on the air to sell something? Finally, I have to change the channel--not going to spend my time listening to nothing. I very rarely see even a partial presentation of an item because of this. Trying to tease us as buyers? If so, it's not working for me. Really can't compare to the professionalism of QVC, or even HSN. Very rarely are there good metals presented. Buyers would like some substantial metals instead of something over sterling (which--no matter what you say or how you describe the process--ALWAYS wears off!) JTV really should reexamine it's name--Jewelry Television--and make themselves into higher-quality programming with higher-quality hosts, better presentations, and better jewelry. Based on hundreds of very below-par reviews regarding the jewelry, customer service and shipping, but yet they haven't changed anything, we can only conclude that they simply don't care about customer satisfaction. Too many other places to buy quality gems/metalsl from companies/stores who stand behind their products and customers. Poor, poor example of a business.
Love most of what I have gotten from JTV. Only a few things had a problem with. All in all satified.

JTV =Trash. 280.00 10k ring. Wore one month later, lost two stones and JTV would not replace or repair without a charge of 20.00. No refund. Wasted the money. JTV does NOT stand behind their product.

I had an unexpected/extensive surgery after being diagnosed with a rare form of cancer and was hospitalized for a few weeks.
I had stretch pay on a couple of items…but wasn't able to pay them in a timely manner due to my illness. I asked for time to pay and expressed the life changes to Susan[name of customer service rep] who called several times for a payment. I even offered to send proof if needed. She was unbelievably unconscionable and kept hounding me. There was no empathy…though my family and I have been customers for years. The first request I got for payment happened while I was still in the hospital. Susan demanded a payment immediately after explaining my circumstances! Instead of understanding…she cancelled my stretch pay options and then demanded full payment! I owed a little over $200. The experience was so upsetting and degrading. Can you imagine fighting cancer and dealing with that in that moment? A family member recorded the conversation on speakerphone and wanted to make the content public knowledge to make others aware. Needless to say…my entire household, family, co-workers and friends immediately stopped supporting JTV because of this. I reported it to a supervisor who did nothing. She claimed that the complaint would've been forwarded to a manager and to expect a call back. Never happened.

I am giving them a ONE STAR because I couldn't give them 0. Last year I bought something online and I NEVER received my order. I called and they did NOTHING for me. I chose to give them a second chance this year for Christmas and ONCE AGAIN they disappointed me. They cancelled my order without even giving me the courtesy to send me an email. It was for my mother's Christmas present and now I have to scramble a day before Christmas to get something for her. I am BEYOND upset with how they have handled this situation. I demanded to speak with a supervisor and was told that they're "too busy." TOO BUSY TO GIVE AN UPSET CUSTOMER AN ANSWER OR SOLUTION?! SERIOUSLY! Beyond disappointed with JTV and will NEVER buy from them again. I had put a couple people onto JTV and I will be letting everyone I know not to buy from here.

I recently bought a ring for $567.00, I paid to have it appraised for 50 but that adds additional time and I wanted it RIGHT NOW! I talked to a rep who was real helpful he cancelled my appraisal order, called me to confirm that he had cancelled it and it was overnighted to me. From the time I opened the box I couldn't stop looking at it it was GORGEOUS. I then took it to Zales and had the appraisal done and it was appraised at $ 2018. 00. All I can say is I get many compliments on my ring and I am a jewelry lover, the diamonds are clear and not cloudy also
While most of the time I have to say their jewelry is well priced for the value, do some checking. This happened quite naturally, I wasn't even suspecting this. Today is Labor Day, and its another BIG sweeping sale across JTV. IG savings, SLASHED prices lol. I DON"T think so! I happened to have several items in my cart that I was waiting to buy. I had returned items and wanted to wait until they received them before buying gifts for some people.
I knew what every single item in my cart cost. I found out my items were returned and credited, so I went to my cart today. The items I wanted to buy had been gone up! Lolol... Instead of costing 109.00 One now cost 159.00 With an old JTV of 189.00 which I know for a fact, it never was priced at. All the other items followed the same. All were jacked up at least 40-50 dollars lol. On top of that, one or two items that were buried deep in pages and had never even been reviewed were now being shown on the first page as items that were slashed due to high demand. JTV tracks what you have in your cart, how long, what you spend, etc... If you want something, DO not keep it in your cart. The only REAL bargain is to watch the show on sales or on JTV.com afterward and see what the items were. Those 29.99 and 39.00 really are bargains. Those 149.00 and 129.00 items are all fake. I can promise you they were originally 89.00 or 79.00 and SOMEONE wanted it and had it in their cart a bit too long. Besides this, they are great with returns. Customer service is wonderful, and I do love them. So they cheat a little. Just watch what they do, that's all.
Answer: As a longtime shopper, I can vouch that the gemstones are real. If it's a lab-created version of more expensive gems (i. E. Lab Emerald, Lab Ruby, CZ, etc), the title & description will reflect that. Although quality control is hit & miss, I've tested/appraised hundreds of stones from JTV & haven't had any issues with authenticity. Their treatment disclosures are pretty good for the industry. Might I suggest perusing eBay, too? Lots of resalers (like me) can offer better prices on legit stones & jewelry... plus you get the benefit of knowing your seller has already checked for cracks, chips, etc. To be safe, only buy from US sellers & ask questions to ensure they can respond with some knowledge about their goods. Answer: I have several pieces of Moissanite set in Platineve and have not had any problems. I've had some of my pieces for a few years and am happy with the way they have held up. Moissanite is more expensive than CZ's and I wouldn't expect anything less from Charles & Colvard to set these stones in to. Hope this helps!
