But, I don't like the one review, I really don't like the guys selling jewelry, but people don't need to say they are groofy, and as far as girl friend Friday, let them where what they want to. I ordered a ring for my wife and gave it plenty of time to get shipped. I ordered it on November 21th and it was supposed to be here November 24th. Here it is December 6th and no one can tell me where my ring is or why it has not been shipped. I'm now afraid I don't have a present for the occasion. I am so disappointed but not as disappointed as the person I now don't have a gift for.

I just want to say that I ordered once and never again, they have lying customer service reps such as Kyle and Jerred and a girl who I can't remember her name that will go to extreme of putting false information on an account (Kylle) and also lying about not receiving information to put on account. (Jarred) Beware they might be telling you something and putting something else on your account notes, and at the end of this horrible expierence i was left with no bracelet and lots of aggravation. This was the first and last time I will order from them.

I come from a long line of Navajo silversmiths. The "sleeping beauty turquoise" is just plastic resin. My uncle put in the cooking fire in his hogan, and it quickly melted. If there's no matrix, it is NOT real turquoise. Not a single piece in their Southwest Style collection was made by a REAL Native American silversmith. Selling these fakes is taking money out of the pockets of REAL Native American families! And their "composite turquoise" is made from the leftover scraps from the making of REAL turquoise. The large pearls are mostly fakes, and nowhere NEAR as "rare" as the hosts say they are.

I never know when I order something if it will come undamsged or with loose stones. My biggest disappointment was a tanzanite ring in 10k gold. Paid over $800. Took it to 2 different jewelers for appraisal. Both of them said it was a stimulant and if it was real it wouldn't be set in 10k gold. Called customer service to complain. They wanted me to send it back to have their appraisers verify it was real. Of course I would have to pay for the appraisal.

In less than 2 months the plating was gone! JTV will do NOTHING except make excuses. You can send it back to them for repair on your dime! $114.00 up in smoke!

I would like to know who determines what an item is. I purchased what was supposed to be Niassa Ruby's, and another clear stone Bracelet. I took it to my local jeweler and he said that the Rubies were not even Rubies were not even real rubies.
There is something seriously amiss with this company and I will never buy from them agaain.
Be very careful to check ALL the fine print in the online descriptions. Because of the enlargement of photos, the wrong impression is easy. Also look very carefully at enlarged photos in description. Chinese made items are cheaply made. I should have stopped at the first purchase--Cubic zirconia earrings set in plated silver--they are beautiful and seem well made--good costume. Have worn a lot and gold plate is holding. But if you are trying to buy inexpensive karat metal jewelry, don't! A local jeweler or pawn shop is a better bet--you can see what you are getting in personl.
I have a diamond ring that should have had rodium but it didn't. That ring has to be polished everyday or the band turns black. I also have a bella ring with white and champaige stones that is loosing it's "gold plating". They make friends with you and make you feel like you just have to have it but just get the remote and change channels. I don't know how they can get away with selling us junk but they are doing it. Stop shopping with them. You're waisting your money. Learned my lesson!

I ordered DOD485,0.40CTW white diamond 10K yellow gold studs. Within 48 hrs of receiving the discovery of the broken backing on my floor and the one earring was now gone. I called JTV and was totally disappointed in the answers I received as a solution, that I could not return it, I could buy another pair, they would take another 20 percent off. I feel that any company should honor their craftsmanship, of their workmanship, if the workmanship is faulty, and in this case it was, otherwise the earring backing should never have broken, I would still have 2 earrings instead of only one..
I purchased a 2 carat diamond cocktail ring on January 14th it is now March 12th and three of the diamonds have falling out and one of the baguette is completely crushed I've had this ring Less Than 3 months, have wanted maybe four times. I called them and they tell me they have to charge me $20 just to look at it and charge an additional fee to fix it. I did not know about the bad reviews on diamonds but I'm not paying them to fix this ring that I just purchased. I did the 5-month FlexPay this is my second payment that they took 3 days early I am going to send it back if they accept it or not it is being sent back to them. I highly recommend don't by any diamonds from JTV

I just received a Tehya Oyama Turquoise, Kingman Turquoise ring, with Cultured Freshwater Pearl, 18k Gold Over Brass Ring. It's pretty. Upon opening the box, there was a little tag on the ring with a bar code displaying the item # and China. What does this ring have to do with China?! It's suppose to be a Turquoise stone from the Kingman mines, in Arizona?! Which are now closed. Did they have to send the ring to China for the freshwater pearls? My last purchase.

I have read many negative reviews about this company stating they never received a tracking number for their order. I don't understand this. I place an order online on the 13th, and received notification form ups on the 15th that it had been shipped. I have a tracking number, and the whole process has been smooth.
Answer: As a longtime shopper, I can vouch that the gemstones are real. If it's a lab-created version of more expensive gems (i. E. Lab Emerald, Lab Ruby, CZ, etc), the title & description will reflect that. Although quality control is hit & miss, I've tested/appraised hundreds of stones from JTV & haven't had any issues with authenticity. Their treatment disclosures are pretty good for the industry. Might I suggest perusing eBay, too? Lots of resalers (like me) can offer better prices on legit stones & jewelry... plus you get the benefit of knowing your seller has already checked for cracks, chips, etc. To be safe, only buy from US sellers & ask questions to ensure they can respond with some knowledge about their goods. Answer: I have several pieces of Moissanite set in Platineve and have not had any problems. I've had some of my pieces for a few years and am happy with the way they have held up. Moissanite is more expensive than CZ's and I wouldn't expect anything less from Charles & Colvard to set these stones in to. Hope this helps!
