I attempted to order a printable gift certificate for a birthday gift, but the website was very vague in the directions about printing versus sending it via email. I finally got the order to go through, only to have nothing in my "inbox." When I finally got hold of someone later on (too late to give the gift), they told me there was no way to get a refund. This was after I had already had to purchase a second gift certificate from another company just to have something to give as a gift. I will never use this site again.
I already have two of these pillows and a chair to match and they are so lovely in my living room. Just had to order another pillow. I absolutely refuse to order anything until they put a search feature on their website. I want to be able to look at ALL the daybeds - not just the one they include in a particular collection. It frustrates me to distraction that there is no way to search. I mean, I get it - they want to force us to scroll and scroll through everything, hoping we will impulse-buy something cute -- but don't they see that we may be looking for something specific? And if we can't find it, we'll look somewhere else? C'mon, Joss and Main -- give us a search box!
I absolutely love this site,... I have bought so many wonderful things for my house and for gifts, without the hassle of in store shopping!
The customer service department is also wonderful. They are so helpful and courteous!
My only grip would be that the items disappear so fast, that I miss them.
Ordered 4 beautiful chairs from the site... which arrived with no issues. Upon closer inspection, however, I noticed that the chairs I received are a replica of the product pictured. They do look similar, but they are not the same chair! The arm rests are shaped differently and there are other disparities. I still feel the chairs are a good value, but at least be honest if you're not going to deliver the product pictured.
It is absolutely bad business not to be able to return an item for a full credit, minus the shipping. In addition, it was not until the last screen in the checkout process that teh '$150 Additional Shipping' fee populated on the screen, on top of a $9.95 Standard Shipping Fee. Together the shipping costs seem exorbitant for a relatively small coffee table. I will likely not shop at Joss&Main again for these reasons. I just really wanted the particular item that I ordered and could get it the fastest from this site.
My wife is in love with Le Creuset cookware and when she saw a pot that is averagely priced around $600 for the price of $125 she quickly bought the cookware & funds were taken from our account. The company and website tried to say they made a mistake on the price & that the product was not available now. You cannot change the price of something after a customer has made a purchase or remove it after the fact. This company & their customer service sucks. Don't buy from them & I'm reporting this to the BBB.
At first everything went so smoothly. I placed my order and got consistent updates on when my couch was going to arrive. Then they day my couch was supposed to arrive it has been a nightmare. My couch was marked as delivered for a front porch drop off, but when i get home no couch is in sight. I had to call customer service multiple times just to figure out what was going on. Finally i got hold of someone saying shipping had my couch but did not drop it off because of weather conditions... (Then I should not get notifications saying its delivered). So i get a reschedule date only to find out that my couch was sent away on a salvage truck... two days before my rescheduled delivery. I couldn't believe it. Now customer service has no answer for me and my agent won't answer my calls. I have been notified that i am getting a replacement but it has been a nightmare. Stay Away!
I have found great deals in Joss and Main site for products that could cost more in a regular departmental store. I have never had any issues with the quality of the products sold on this site.

Over the past year I placed 4 orders. What says in stock and 2 day shipping never even ships until weeks later. 2 orders went to backorder after a week of not shipping. If they even get it back I'm stock. 2 orders cancelled. Customer service just reads a robot script. They don't care.
I ordered a sofa that i had been watching, it was reduced from 999 to less than 350. I waited till the next day to order because I am not an online furniture type of person. But I took the plunge and purchased the sofa. I received an email saying the sofa price was wrong and I would not be getting it but would get my money back! Several emails later, they absolutely refused to sell me the sofa at the advertised price. Even though the sofa was at that price for 2-3 days, they still refused to sell it. They offered 20% off another similar item.
I also think the "was" prices are often times incorrect. There is never enough info on construction, content, etc.; foam. Wood and fabric is pretty much the basic description you get on the site.
A lot of their inventory is available on other sites, I have found several of the bedding collections on bedbathandbeyond.com at lower prices. And a much better return policy!
Returns are very pricey so really think twice before you order furniture unless you are going to do an exchange. Having said that I would never buy furniture on line again sight unseen. I will never shop here again.
I love Joss and Main for their selections of merchandise and furnishing for indoor as well as outdoor. They offer style and product at reasonable prices and wonderful sales.
I have not experienced any problems with delivery and my orders have arrived in perfect condition.
I have waited a month for my bed and I still don't have it! It is lost somewhere in Louisiana and the people at Joss and Main can't find it. Of course, they have my money. Do not order from this company - use someone reputable!
Today, July 10th, 2014, I ordered four beach towels at 10:45 a.m. By 11:01 a.m. I still had not received a confirmation. I clicked again "Place Order" - nothing happened except for telling me that I should not click that button more than once to prevent more than one order going through (how about getting a better computer system for your customers: Finally I received a note with a confirmation number for my order and pointing out in that same note that my order could not be retrieved. Could anybody please explain to me what the use of such a Website is - of course a rhetorical question. Obviously the Company does not need business. Don't tell me the sale was not on anymore. If it's on the Website, it's ON. Don't need that waste of my time. Can get same merchandise from many other sources.
I've ordered three things and still waiting for the third, but the two pillows I ordered don't look like they did in the photos on the website. The first pillow clearly looked embroidered with "bling" and when it showed up it was printed fabric. The second pillow I ordered specifically because it was a bright sapphire silk. What showed up is a dull navy. Unacceptable. I'm unsubscribing from their daily, sometimes twice daily, emails.
I'm one who really enjoys renovation and decor. I enjoy this site for design ideas, as well as great deals on just about anything I can imagine. I see a design finished in my mind and visit the site to find exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks Joss and Main for reading my mind!

Bought IMAX "rustic" dining table for $400. It is the cheapest piece of crude ever. Mad from the wood that skids are made and very flimsy. Some of it wasn't even stained so I mixed some paint and water and finished it. It can barely hold our plates and elbows. Creeks and squeaks with every touch. Pretty but not a dining table.
How can you not love Jossandmain.com, it's the best thing since the days of women's magazines. Only better, because they tell a story you can bring to life in your own home, at prices often times the lowest anywhere. I find the best deals, and the most loved pieces for our home, and my friends, at their online store. Love the events!
I had been looking for a quirky floor cabinet for my bathroom and I found the perfect small chest of drawers. It was a bit more than I wanted to pay but I 'adjusted' my thinking and ordered it. The delivery was prompt and the chest was in perfect condition. For the first 24 hours it smelled like oil based paint but it all cleared away.
The only reason that I didn't give them five stars was because they don't have a Search option. I guess they feel that I might buy more if I have to wade through all their different categories.
Answer: Everything that I have ordered so far has been excellent. One time, the item just didn't quite look great in my bedroom. I returned it no questions asked for a full credit. Nether even paid the postage. I could have returned it for a full refund but I would had to pay the postage. In any event, very flexible on returns, which, as I say, has only happened once.
Answer: I don't know if they accept Pay Pal but their merchandise is over priced. I will not be ordering with them again because of lousy customer service!

Answer: Hello - I always wash any fabric product before using - but I use my "gentle" cycle and only cold water without any soap. This always works for me and keeps the fabric in good shape without any chemical products still there.
Answer: I would copy and paste the name and model number of this particular sofa in a search engine and a shop bot like Nextag or Bizrate. This may find some reviews on other sites and sometimes even a better price or return option.

Answer: You get what you pay for with Joss and Main. Google the details like the measurements and comments about the fabric because they often rename their items. I have been mostly happy with my items because I have reasonable expectations regarding quality. I don't expect to get something for nothing. Personally, I wouldn't buy a couch unless I could sit in it first but that's just me. Joss and Main is good with damage claims and they are responsive but you need to be careful about what you buy.
