Gorgeous dress

SCAMMERS... BEWARE
August 20, 2020

BEWARE. This company is a scam and fraud. I am getting married in Oct and ordered my mother a dress from here and she passed away last week and I wrote them to cancel her dress 8 days before they shipped it out and they want to give me back only 40% of the dress cost and me to pay shipping cost when it hasn't even shipped yet. I will write as many bad reviews as possible and seek legal council. I will make this my full time job to let everyone know how they do business.

I ordered a wedding dress as well as a underskirt and veil from this site. The dress was custom made to my own size- and it fits very well! I would be careful about giving your height, make sure you give enough because it's always better if your dress is too long than too short. The dress came fast and looked very much like the picture (not EXACTLY) and many of my friends have been impressed with the quality. It is hard though to order a dress you haven't ever tried on... I have to do some alterations on it now just to make it perfect.

I am trying to return the dress which hasn't been worn and tags are still attached. It is impossible to find a return address and when you message them (China) they come back with this offering: give me 10% and keep the dress or 20% off a purchase. Horrible Company. Be aware and stay away.

JJ's House attempted to help this customer through the Sitejabber Resolution Center, but the customer did not respond

I was notified that the dress for my son's wedding would not arrive in time one week before the wedding. Now fighting for a refund and trying to find another dress at the last minute. They actually wanted me to go ahead with the order and keep the dress for another occasion. Customer service is atrocious. I am filing fraud charges. Another thing-since ordering from them, I have been receiving scam telephone calls from Places like Mauritania and Egypt. Run!

Having rather large feet (size 9 and a half/ten) and being a keen dancer, I was thrilled to find size 44 dance shoes, which I seem unable to find elsewhere on the internet. I ordered two pairs. I felt like the Ugly sister trying on Cinderella's slipper - beautiful shoe, far too small. Yes, it had a size 44 sticker on, but was actually more like a 40 or a 41. I've sold one pair to a friend with size 7 feet, they fitted her "like a glove". Returns to China... not worth even attempting. I'm trying to sell the other pair on ebay.

UPDATE: They have currently refunded me (minus the postage costs) and apologised - and even though I have been offered a voucher to make up for my trouble, I'm not sure that I'm going to take them up on this. Unless they have drastically changed their sizing system, I'd only get the same problem again.

I love my new cloche!

I immediately fell in love with this mustard colored cloche the minute I saw it online. I was hesitant to order it, but I am thrilled that I followed through. It is of utmost quality. A nice sturdy wool, and excellent craftsmanship. I was a little worried about how it might fit, but it is perfect for my head size and shape. It is not not flopping around and not too tight. I would definitely order again from JJsHouse. Shipping took longer than I had expected, but that's because I did not read the shipping details thoroughly. Still arrived in time to wear this winter.

Find JJ house randomly looking for couples of dresses for my wedding. Their web page is easy to navigate and show you all the different options on size and colors on the particular dress you interested they got a try at home option so you can see before buying hows the fitment is going to be I did this the first time and them after feeling more confident with their fitment I decide to do a custom to my size, the dress came on time, quality is excellent, materials are nice will recommend %

Avoid JJs House
September 20, 2019

Do NOT buy from JJs House! Ordered a "custom size" dress for my granddaughter to be a junior bridesmaid. Measurements were taken by 2 different seamstresses following the instructions on the website. Measurements were triple checked by each seamstress. The next day the order was placed, again triple checking that correct measurements were put on order. Dress arrived with a bust measurement that is 2 inches smaller (24 inches i stead of 26 inches) than ordered, AND dress has an obvious snag in it. Customer support acknowledges that "manual production errors do occur" but refuse to accept responsibility. Only offer is a 40% refund and to have dress altered on my own. Unable to alter dress to fit because it is 2 inches too small! This company is unethical.

Buyer beware horrible company the worst I have ever ordered from. I wish I heard listen to all the negative reviews about refunds all true. No where is it written you cannot get a refund from a regular dress not stated anywhere. But yet they only want to refund 10% for tailoring. How dumb and stupid. Only orders in the U.S. A smart country.

Terrible site, terrible product, and terrible service. My girlfriend ordered a bridesmaids dress from their site. It arrived 6 inches smaller than the measurements listed. When she brought it to a seamstress the lady could only laugh at the shoddy quality of the work.

We've tried contacting the company numerous times with promises of a call back, but havent heard back at all. Thats been a nearly 3 week process.

Alas, as punishment for their terrible customer service, I filed a complaint with my credit card company and they have charged the company back for the full amount and i have been fully refunded.

Love the try on option
August 28, 2023

Im very hard to please and lack of inventory in retail stores has made it a problem for me to find an appropriate dress for my sons wedding. JJ House option of try and return is awesome. While I've tried 7 dresses so far im really closing in on size, style, and fabric preferences. Thanks for having flexible try on options.

I spent $168.99 including having to pay for shipping to my house. The dresses didn't fit or look like what was advertised on website. The dresses were also shipped backwards, looking like someone had tried them on already. To try and speak with customer service is hard, to return is done only via email and wait 24 hrs for response. No live person ever unless you are trying to buy. Then, they send you a prepaid label and say return will be $8.50 will be deducted from return but they deducted $30 for return. It is bad business practice and it feels like a scam. Advice is dont buy! You have to fight to get your money back and then it is only part of it.

Absolutely love it

Ordered my wedding dress around 3 weeks ago. Arrived today, I love it, the material is light and comfy I'm a 14/16 but ordered size 18 went from the measurements on website. It is a little to big in one area so I will have it taken in slightly but that's ok. I'm getting married abroad so the material is perfect not heavy and doesn't crease easy. All in all I would definitely recommend this service. I was sceptical but took a risk all in all very very happy. I will put pics on after the wedding in August but cant right now as obviously it's a secret ha ha x

A great experience!

Have been shopping for a mother of the groom dress for October, 2023 wedding. So many dresses to choose from but the website has good filters to help narrow your choices so you don't have to view sleeveless or short sleeve dresses if you are interested in long sleeves. I ordered a total of 6 try on dresses and 3 swatches before I made my final decision. When my dress came it was everything I had hoped it to be. Use the sizing guide if you don't want a custom dress. I ordered a standard size and the only alteration I will need is the length shortened. The sizes are accurate to the measurements they provided. I will purchase again from JJ's house without question.

They refuse to accept or return items regardless of the situation. While their refund policy says the strive to meet our expectations and satisfactions guarantee they lie.
You order it and you're stuck with it.

I bought 5 shoulder wraps for myself, my bridesmaids, and my flower girl. I was under the impression that as a first time user of this site that the shipping would be either free or strongly discounted. Then when the order was placed, it said the discounted shipping applied to only certain items. Also, the 5% discount code didn't work. THEN there were the fees for DHL shipping services and import fees. I realize these particular fees are out of the seller's control; however, a heads up would have been greatly appreciated so I could properly budget. As for the shipping fees, if there was notice that free or discounted shipping applied to only certain items, it was not in a place easily accessible when I placed my order. My things are still in transit, so we will see if they arrive around the estimated date of October 19th. At this point I am thoroughly unimpressed, not overly optimistic, and will write another review if the items do not arrive within a reasonable time around the 19th.

I bought two sizes, same dress, I didn't have enough time to get it wrong. I payed with my card and then a few days after I got an email saying they haven't charged me anything but that they were not going to send the dresses until I sent a picture of my ID and a picture of my credit card, can you believe that: Have you ever had a request like that before? I emailed them after my wedding saying please give me my money back and they said that they were going to send me only one size of the dresses. What part of I want my money back for a product I haven't receive are they not understanding?

Virus problems?
March 8, 2020

I just placed an order today, and then I came on here to read some of these reviews. People are saying the virus is making their orders not come. I need this for my daughter for prom by mid April, so if that is the case I would want to cancel my order all together. If someone could please let me know details about that I would appreciate it.
